“First time ordering food here and everything was good. Ordered the chicken kebob plate. It came with two chicken kebab, hummus, naan, salad, and rice. Chicken was charred to perfection. It was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Flavors from the chicken were just right. Hummus was so fresh and smooth. Their naan is a bit dry so for that, it did not wow me. Will definitely try other options again some day“
“I don't know alot about the SAJJ brand, but I wanted to try this menu choice at Local Kitchens in Cupertino. The "Chicken Shawarma (BYO) Bowl" looked like an interesting way to make a salad. Menu says "Juicy chicken thighs marinated in house spice blend and grilled to perfection." Well, that certainly sounds good. Here's what I did....Chicken BYO-salad base with greens, tomato-cucumber, pickles, avocado, hummus and Tahini. Didn't need dressing, you put all that together, it's going to taste good! And it did! Delicious chicken bowl!I ordered for pickup using the Local Kitchens App. Ready timer on the app said 15-20 mins. It was ready in 20-mins, went inside and they handed it to me. Hey, you want to save $$$? Here's a tip: pickup your own food and use the Local Kitchens App. Why? If you pickup your own order, you don't pay delivery fees. Doordash charges more than the Local Kitchens app for the same menu item. I always do this! When you pick it up yourself, the food is hot and fresh.BTW, this isn't an actual SAJJ restaurant. This location is Local Kitchens @ Cupertino, a micro-food hall. The staff cooks the food onsite, and duplicates the recipes. This location is near Stevens Creek Blvd & Hwy 85. Across from the Post Office.“

With exceptional service and a menu that surprises and delights, Mayhouse is a must-visit for any food enthusiast craving a taste of Turkey with a creative flair!"“
“We have been to DishDash many times and previously I have always thought of it as a 5 star place. The service is always good and the dishes are well-presented.However yesterday we ventured away from our typical dishes, Maza Sampler and Reyash. The Rihan appetizer was good but next time maybe we should try the Babaghanouge. My wife enjoyed her Tiki Kebab with Brussels Sprouts but I was pretty disappointed with my Tabsi Falafel. It tasted more like a typical American stew except with Falafels. At least the Falafels were excellent. The other two vegetarian entree choices did not look too appealing which is why I think in the past I always ended up just getting the Maza Sampler.Vegetarian options: Only three vegetarian entree options.“
“Had an early lunch with a colleague.Even though I left early, it was quite crowded.I ordered a chicken and beef kebab set at the counter, got a number, and waited at my seat. The sauce is self-serve. There's quite a lot. Grilled vegetables, chicken, and beef are also delicious. I am full. Thank you for the meal.“
“A very nice restaurant in downtown Sunnyvale. Located in the pedestrian only street, with parking nearby. Very friendly and professional service, and a great ambiance. The selection for vegetarian main courses is limited, however, only eggplant dishes. Nevertheless, a very good choice to dine in Sunnyvale.“
“Ordered a large order for takeout and the owner was extremely accommodating and had phenomenal communication! The food was fantastic, wrapped well so it wouldn't spill in transport. The falafel was phenomenal, even some of my coworkers who don't like falafel in general said it was good! I would highly recommend going!Vegetarian options: Falafel is fantastic!“
“I've been going here since I was a kid (roughly 20 years now) and their quality has never wavered. Hands down best falafel in the Bay area, and I've tried a lot of different places that serve falafel. Also their banana shakes are just iconic, so I recommend you try one of those too“
“Lipsmackingly yummy, down to earth and minimal fuss executed perfectly! This was a vegetarian heaven in a somewhat meat-heavy area for restaurant options at superbly reasonable fare. The entire dish and all aspects screamed unique and exciting flavors which worked together really well and was a plentiful portion which left me with zero complaints. The falafel was also grilled perfectly, crispy yet light and fluffy left me drooling for more, the salad and grilled veggies were seasoned with some awesome spiced, all topped with crunchy and peppery baked pita chips.I can't wait to return and cannot recommend the Veggie Shawarma with Grilled Veggies and Grilled Falafel enough!“
“amaze balls=yes, that would those falafel balls!my husband had chicken arabi style with tahini salad and shatta sauce he licked his fingers kid you not! whatever is in those sauces, I want me some of that! they got their recipes down thats for sure.Vegetarian options: falafel, tahini salad, tabouleh salad“
“Delicious and cheap Middle Eastern fast food Dish Dash, shawarma wraps, grilled lamb/beef/chicken skewers, salads, or my favorite Mansaf yogurt-braised tender lamb risotto, the big space is suitable for gatherings, and there are many good things Drink beer/wine/freshly squeezed juice“
“For Valentine's Day we dined at Urfa Bistro and as always, we were thoroughly impressed. The meal started with warm, soft bread accompanied by a delicious olive infused dipping oil bursting with flavor. For the main course, we had the Rib Eye dish, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, accompanied by garden vegetables, mashed potatoes and Bearnaise sauce. Each bite was a delicious delight. The friendly staff, attentive service, cozy ambiance and rose for every female guest added to the overall experience, making it a memorable dining outing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic and satisfying Mediterranean cuisine. It's a fabulous restaurant.“
“Seriously, and I don’t take this lightly, this is my favorite Shawarma place in the bay. The staff is so friendly sometimes when you go into a place, you just feel like somebody is there for the paycheck, however, these guys lived in breathe Shawarma.I’d go here for dinner, lunch, a quick snack, really any use case. This is a must stop by. Bring your friends bring your family.I recommend this restaurant“
“Really delicious food in a very nice setting. As a vegan, it was really great to be able to try a vegan version of one of the main dishes. The complementary pickles and sauces are a very nice touch, and raise the authenticity a notch. The main dishes are relatively expensive, BUT they are generous, and if you can see in the photo, very finely seasoned! A main plate with a choice of two sides! I definitely ended up with leftovers. I just wish they had a vegan version of their borekas, and maybe a vegan version of topped style hummus. In addition to the pickles and extra tahini on request, one other point I was very impressed with is the bread - freshly made and very fluffy, not the boring bagged/frozen kind you normally find in American Mediterranean restaurants. Falafel was Goldilocks: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not too dry, not too oily. The staff was very kind and attentive, but be aware it's in a busy area and the restaurant gets crowded, it may not be your best option if you're in a rush. Having said that, I enjoyed chilling out on the patio, slowly enjoying my food on a sunny day without being rushed.Vegetarian options: Vegan kebabs“

Nestled in the heart of Palo Alto, this eatery captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The menu offers a tantalizing array of wraps, salads, and sides, each bursting with authentic flavors. On my recent visit, I indulged in the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and it was a taste sensation. The tender chicken, paired with fresh veggies and flavorful sauces, created a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The attention to detail in crafting these wraps is evident, from the perfectly grilled meats to the thoughtfully selected condiments. The menu caters to various dietary preferences, with ample options for vegetarians and those seeking healthier choices. The vibrant and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall dining experience. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and eager to make your visit memorable.Whether you're a fan of traditional Mediterranean dishes or looking for a fresh and delicious meal, Mediterranean Wraps is a standout choice. I highly recommend savoring the diverse and mouthwatering offerings at this Palo Alto gem.“
“Loved the food, service. Ambience at the Castro Street location in downtown Mtn View was fabulous. Great for vegetarians. Lots of choices and everythinga yum. What's not to like?Dishes recommended : hummus plate, sampler of ghanoushes, schnitzels“
“What a vibe—I love eating outdoors under the umbrellas, and I always feel at home here when I meet Alia and the rest of the staff. They truly make it feel like you’re part of the family, and the food reflects a high-quality home cooking feel as well. I come here for the most affordable yet high quality food on the entire of Castro Street, and I often wonder how places like Oren’s and Hummus Kitchen stay in business, when this place tastes so much more authentic and feels like a small-town cafe rather than a corporate chain. I can’t wait to keep trying all the great vegetarian and vegan items on the menu, and I’m happy to see that the veg-GF menu is constantly updating :)“
“One of the best Persian restaurants in the area. We absolutely loved the food. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We didn’t make a reservation but since we went early around 6pm, we were able to get a table immediately. We can't wait to return for delicious food!“
“Sajj Mediterranean exceeded all expectations with their build-your-own plate option! The food quality is exceptional, and one bowl is definitely more than enough for a satisfying meal. The falafel was a standout, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. As for their drinks, the special mint lemonade and strawberry lemonade were incredibly fresh and flavorful, but the mint stole the show for me. Additionally, the Valentine's Day decorations added a lovely touch to the ambiance during our visit. Highly recommend Sajj Mediterranean for a delicious and refreshing dining experience!“
“For what it is, a low key Persian restaurant in a strip mall, it's surprisingly good. The service was very friendly. Maybe a little too much so. We were asked about 6 times if we wanted anything else. But overall a very pleasant surprise because the food was great. The ambiance is fine. Not sure why they close at 7:30 that's just way too early“
“Very delicious, one of the best hummus I have ever eaten, so soft and fresh, I would only recommend photos on the menu to better understand how the dishes are served.Very delicious, one of the best hummus I have ever eaten, so soft and fresh, I would only recommend photos on the menu to better understand how the dishes are served.“
“I was wowed at SAJJ! The food flavor, the AMOUNT of food they give you, and the variety of sides available are amazing and delicious! I get my daily veggie intake thanks to them. The price is reasonable for what you get. The staff are happy to add extra when asked. The place looks clean. The flavor of everything is AMAZING. You won’t regret it! (Don’t forget to ask for extra cilantro sauce!)“
“It’s a food stand inside international food bazaar, They were kind and accommodating to accept my order at 9am even before opening. If you need any combination outside of menu just ask as most probably they accept.Cons: lamb shank came with no sides,I wish they had seating area to enjoy the food fresh and warm.Vegetarian options: Very limited veggie options“
“I came for lunch on a Friday and was super impressed with the service and quality of the food! The owner is very kind and helpful. It's a casual ambiance. I'll definitely come back! * Biryani rice with chicken tikka: 4/5 The seasoning on the chicken was so good! The rice was super fresh and fluffy. The chicken was a tiny bit dry. * Beef kebab sandwich: 5/5! The veggies in the sandwich were so fresh and crisp. The beef was warm and delicious. The aioli-like sauce complemented everything perfectly, and the bread was just the right amount of crispy. I'd recommend adding extra beef if you want more protein! * Chicken samosa: 5/5! The chicken filling was very flavorful and generously packed. The outside of the samosa was not too thick or doughy, and nicely crispy.“
“I love this place for its authentic Jordanian flavors. The mansaf here is tasty and the portion is huge. The falafels are moist and crispy. The knafeh is just sweet enough. One of my top Bay Area places. Beware though, parking can be difficult since this is located in a modest business park.“
“We catered a meal for 100 people for a big event this past weekend, and I worked with Ashvee to make this happen. First of all, she was wonderful and super helpful. The food was ready on time, huge portions and the meal was amazing. The chicken shawarma was excellent!! We had so many people compliment the food. The falafel was delicious and the sauces (Tzatziki, Lemony Tahini Sauce and Spicy Sauce) were so good. I don't even live in PA but I am definitely making the drive down to get more of it. Thank you Ashvee and RMK - great job! Can't wait to come back.“
“Shawarma Mediterranean Street Food offers a delicious experience. The flavors are rich, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is top-notch. The variety on the menu caters to different tastes, ensuring everyone finds a favorite. Over all it is a five-star destination for authentic Mediterranean cuisine.“
“Had the roasted Lamb, as well as chicken and beef kabobs, and all of it was wonderful. The lamb was as tender as I have had anywhere in the bay area and Came in a great portion for the price of the dish. The chicken and beef were delicious and had just the right amount of seasoning remaining to flavor the rice.If you have not, definitely give this place a try if you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: Food served is Halal“
“Super tasty food. The steak and the pomegranate chicken are really good. The portions are pretty good size and there are many toppings to choose from.I wish the employees could smile and be a little nicer. That is what this place needs to be great.Vegetarian options: FalafelCauliflowerHummus“
“Bay Area do need such authentic Indian food. What truly set this restaurant apart was its authenticity; the chefs have managed to capture the essence of traditional Maharashtrian cuisine without compromising on taste. The use of locally sourced ingredients added a layer of freshness that elevated the dish to new heights.Overall, my experience here was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm hospitality to the authentic flavors and perfect balance of spice and oil, this establishment has set a new standard for Maharashtrian cuisine. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply seeking a taste of authenticity, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to SURMAI.“
“The service hands down is the best here at this kebab shop location. Food is excellent taste fresh and prepared very well. This is a clean restaurant and meat is very tender and veggies are fresh and the sauces. Amazing. This is a must place for your wrap or kebab fries cravings.“
“The place is very casual, but the food is extraordinary! Lamb chops and salmon shashlik were heavenly good! Soft, juicy, tasty! And eggplant puree was very delicious! The place is definitely worth coming to! I wish owners would decorate it cozier. The owners deserve a lot of praise as well, kinda, attentive, friendly. All in all, we will definitely come again, though there are place closer to us, but don't want to get disappointed with inferior food. So, see you soon Ali and his kind wife!“
“List of Items ordered:Baghali Polo (Lamb Shank) (Entree)2x Koobideh (Beef) Skewer plate (Entree)Chicken Skewer plate (Entree)Dolma (Appetizer)Baklava (Dessert)Total: About $131For the location of the place, it was a welcome surprise with the atmosphere. It felt like upscale dining and the service was wonderful. They were very attentive, and eye contact alone will get their attention to serve you. Although the menu may seem pricey, the portions they give you absolutely make up for the prices and more. Entree plates are about 8-9 inches in diameter and are full with rice, a light salad and roasted vegetables, including your choice of protein of course. The Chicken skewer plate came with 2 skewer lengths that were taken off the skewer and were juicy. I was under the impression that a barbeque style of cook dries out the chicken but however they cook it, it's perfection. My colleagues enjoyed the fact that the lamb shank easily fell off the bone and the Koobideh plate was just juicy. We later asked if we could add a to-go Koobideh plate to our order and it was out to us in the next 10 minutes. Definitely will be coming back to eat at this hidden gem with more friends.“
“OH MY GOD. This food is to die for. I have had tons of dishes and all are good, but my favorites are the eggplant (and I normally don’t like eggplant!), meatballs, and falafel. I also love the Brussels sprouts, and the artichoke flatbread. I recommend getting a few small items and splitting. So good. And the BAKLAVA! It is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Like no baklava I’ve ever tasted. It’s magical.“
“HOLY COW! Dish n Dash was a breath of fresh air. My favorite aspect of Dish n Dash is always their plethora of dips like the garlic dip, roasted red pepper walnut they are all so good and pair well with everything. I got their pulled sumac chicken which in my opinion is their best protein! I got it with frekeh, hummus, and red pepper walnut dip. The frekeh had the perfect texture that complemented the tender flavorful chicken! The chicken was insanely flavorful and it was a cool red color as well! The red pepper walnut dip was so good it was a little tangy and quite creamy as well with the hummus they were both so flavorful but each was a bit too oily. OVERALL I definitely reccomend and the prices are not too exorbitant with the portions being large. It was unique and super tasty so you should definitely give it a try!“
