We had the everything bagel with cream cheese, croissant with egg and cheese, and croissant with tuna, tomatoes, lettuce, and hot sauce (if not more items). The food was rich in flavour and the staff are incredible and very nice. We stopped by the next day for some more croissants with egg and cheese!“

They're super nice and serve the city's best pão de queijo (cheese bread), coxinhas (savory dough pockets filled with chicken), and empadas, IMO. “I was pretty impressed with my visit to Royal Donut Cafe. I didn't come for their donuts, but for their breakfast and they had some of the best country fried steak I've had a in a while. The interior is very dated so that might turn some people off, but they are expanding the restaurant and taking over the space next door. They said that there is a possibility that they open for dinner in the future too. Staff were very friendly as well. Parking in the area is certainly a pain in the area, but there are paid parking lots near by. Country Fried Steak & Eggs ($15.95) was what I ordered and it was massive. I was stuffed after eating it and the steak had the perfect breading. The sausage gravy was very tasty and the hash browns were also a large portion. The eggs they also cooked really well and they don't overcook them like I accidently do at home because I love runny eggs. It is definitely worth a visit here although I have no input on their donuts or pastries personally. Their breakfast is top tier though and you get large portions. Would recommend this breakfast spot to anyone in the area.“

I have to say I did not care for the biscuits and gravy( well the gravy). The gravy had a congealed texture and was fairly bland. Being a southern boy I expected to have a white gravy and sausage. I took one bite, was unsure so took a second. That was all it took to decide I did not care for the gravy. They removed them from my bill but left me with a unsatisfied craving for real biscuits and gravy. Everything else was great.“

“Little Griddle used to be across the street from the Square/Uber building (10th & Market St). They are now at the DOUGH CAFE location (at the Square Building). There are indoor and both outdoor seating with ceiling heaters. They are open for breakfast and lunch. You can either order at the kiosk or with the cashier. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. There are some street parking on 11th, but it's VERY HARD to find. There are paid parking lots on 11th street. The cafe is located right off of Van Ness Muni Station and a few blocks from Civic Center bart station. The food is just as good as before, both breakfast and lunch food are good. We got the PLAIN CHICKEN BURGER, BORING TURKEY SANDWICH, and CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD. They were all really good, we would definitely come back to this. The food are reasonable priced , it's not outrageous expensive.“
