“Had brunch with my wife here because they just opened up in Albany. We shared the scone, I ordered the Chilaquiles and my wife ordered the breakfast sopes.Everything was delicious and food came out in good timing. The staff was also attentive and gave us space to eat and chat.Would come here again! We also ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich and the Chicken Gordita to-go. Also super tasty! Really though, try this place out yourself!Update: Feb 11, 2024Went back for lunch with my wife to try different items on the brunch menu. Wife got the Mt.Tam Potatoes, I got the banana French toast (both served in a generous serving size). We couldn't help ourselves so we got a scone to share, a blueberry pancake and a banana pancake with fried chicken on the side.Everything came out timely and tasted amazing. Consistency is something we feel demonstrates whether a restaurant has their stuff down or not. Second time ordering the scone was not a disappointment. The service was also consistent, they were readily available but we didn't feel rushed. We will continue coming here!“
“Went to brunch at this place a few days ago. It offers a good price, to quality/quantity ratio for breakfast and lunch. We sat outside on a partly sunny day, and they allowed us to have our dogs by the table.Mimosas were good, and I had the French toast while others in my party had the Alameda and classic eggs Benedict. Everything was very well executed if somewhat unadventurous. This is the type of place I would take my parents to who want a comfortable experience, quality and straight forward menu“
“This is one of my favorites in the Marina. Constantly very high quality food. I almost don’t want to review it because I don’t want it to get too crowded. They are very close to getting a Michelin star! Omg get the pavlova for desert. Their fish is amazing too.“
“So this was probably the best smoked salmon sandwich I had in my life so far. The Brazilian cream cheese is so good with the salmon! The coffee with milk didn't need sugar, it's just so refreshing on its own.I tried a small bite of the Veggie omelet, and the tapioca crepe is so good, and the omelet is even better.Highly recommended at the fisherman's wharf, with a order by number service, in a good location, I'm gonna say you have to try it here!Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian options that are clearly marked. Pretty sure you can make minor substitutions, but you'll have to ask!“
“Solid place, but not all that special. Maybe I didn't order any of their really unique stuff, so that's on me. I like that they have a wide variety of hot sauces.I don't really like that between credit card fees, a 18 percent default tip, and the tip being calculated after tax and fees, things cost like 36 percent more than their listed price (rather than the standard 25).“
“So glad this place is reopening at some point!! By far the best brunch place around. The staff is super friendly, the food is amazing, and make sure to get some of their secret spicy sauce on the side ;)Vegetarian options: There's def some decent vegetarian and vegan options on the menu!!“
“Was going to take a friend visiting to Son and Garden, but this popped up and was on the way. We walked in on a Sunday at 10am with no reservation and were seated immediately. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere (other than the tables being a little too close together). I now prefer this over S+G. It feels like the cool younger sibling“
“Friendly, fast, and fantastic — from start-to-finish, dining in always changes my day for the better. It’s a simple space, but the people make it feel like a home to me and remember what I like to order.Their Tofu Pad See Ew is the best I’ve had in town; the noodles and vegetables are cooked just right, it’s always the right amount of sauce, and the crispy bits on top are delightful. They can even make it vegan! Many thanks again, Tycoon!“
“I had an amazing experience here! I unexpectedly stopped by here and went in for breakfast around 1:30pm. The owner was sitting table next to me so even they weren’t serving breakfast anymore he heard me ask and he told them to make me breakfast. I appreciated it so much. I ate avocado toast and iced latte and it was yummy. Shout out to the owner for making my day better ?“
“A unique brunch spot. I had the pandan waffle and fried chicken which was tasty. The waffle was cold and a wee bit soggy but good flavour. Someone else had the bo luc lac and the beef was super duper tender and juicy but also very sweet. The shrimp Benedict was quite good and the chicken sammie was good but the star of that was the French fries they were spectacular. The service was friendly and good. There's no atmosphere but still a place I'll go back to.“
“Visited on a Tuesday morning at about 10:30am, for breakfast. Was rather quiet, about 4 other tables taken. Service was great and very friendly. We had a breakfast burrito & quesadilla both were delicious. Coffee & iced tea were good and refillable.“
“Hannah and Alex own and operate their own cozy cafe here at Nib’s. Alex is cooking up a ‘Nib’s Special Omelette’ for me. He wears a cap that says “Im Alex, doing Alex things.” And clearly Hannah knows what she’s doing here in this clean, comfortable, well-managed establishment. And here’s the omelette now…. NOICE!“
“I've been visiting Roxanne's for years. It's one of my must-go whenever I'm in the city. The consistent, very friendly welcome is the main reason I have breakfast there. It's always a real pleasure to be greeted with a smile by the wonderful Consuelo and the other lovely staff who have always been friendly and helpful over the years ! Thanks to all and looking forward to my next visit at the top of Nob Hill !“
“Delicious brunch/lunch spot with a Turkish twist! This place deserves every single 5-star review. Delicious chopped beef sandwich (Tantuni) on a wonderfully soft and toasted bun. I am so glad I took the food recommendation from Melike. The staff is wonderful, they have calming Jazz playing on the speakers. I am excited to come back here for brunch to try the shakshuka and their coffee.“
“There was a small wait to get in but it was worth it. The food was great, the coffee was awesome and everyone was friendly. Definitely glad we stopped in and would come back if we're ever in the area again. Very much you're all-American-classic-diner.“
“Small latin eatery between 23rd and 24th Mission street. Metered parking or hourly parking in nearby neighborhood. Very casual and friendly environment and staff. Freshly made food and freshly squeezed orange juice! I ordered the "Central American Special". It had fried plantains(sweet tasting flavor), fried cheese, eggs, toast, rice and beans and Bacon. The dish itself tasted great all around, would recommend. I also ordered a side of Garlic bread (did not have any taste of garlic this time though).“
“A small cafe but the ideal place to have breakfast in San Francisco.Choose your breakfast, you can eat it in a sandwich, in fajitas or alone. The quality is superior.Quick, friendly service with a smile and they speak English/Spanish.I don't drink coffee in the USA, but when I saw it I craved it, and I can confirm it is the best coffee I have had in America. Rich, with foam, you don't even have to add sugar.“
“This is such a neighborhood gem! It’s family-owned and I had the pleasure of meeting the mother and daughter. For food, they had many good breakfast options! We ended up getting the Kimchi toast along with some juices on one side, and the. A pizza bagel with extra cheese and salami from the other side. The staff are very friendly and I love the outdoor tables and chairs outside. It was so nice to eat out in the sidewalk on a sunny day. Definitely need to go back!“
“Small, cozy cafe, very friendly service, very good coffee, very abundant and tasty dishes, huge and delicious biscuits... The best of all? Prices are very affordable! I will be backParking: Parking behind the restaurant with plenty of spaces availableKid-friendliness: Family atmosphere“
“My boyfriend and I stopped in to have breakfast this morning. I ordered the 2 Swedish pancakes with fresh fruit with a side of hashbrowns (which were delicious btw), my boyfriend had the California omelet. My plate was so delicious! The fruit consisted of a banana, apples, cantaloupe, honey dew, kiwis, grapes, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries they were juicy and sweet and the pancakes topped it all off.. I would definately go back. It is a small spot but very cozy and cute.“
“I felt like.... At home. The owner and his Crew are very friendly, the place has a good vibe it was like... As if my Grand ma made me breakfast . I really like the place and they are dog ? friendly ❤️. Every costumer that walked in was treated like family. I definitely recommend this place“
“It is a very large place, very good atmosphere, the food is delicious and healthy, the portions are quite large, the price is quite reasonable, and the service is good and the food usually does not take long and the atmosphere is quite calm, kind of romantic dinner but for breakfast.“
“Fluffiest pancakes with whipped butter!! Not going to lie, these were the best pancakes I've ever had... Friendly staff, beautifully designed, fun art on the walls for purchase.I got the '3 by 2 by 2 and 1' ( I think that's what it's called) three buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter, two eggs anyway you want, two pieces of bacon, one hash brown! What's mind-blowing is that the food is fantastic AND affordable!!The bacon was sooo crispy, just the way I like it.Coffee came in the cutest mug, plates and water glasses were beautiful. Lots of thought and care when into this restaurant!I think the owner was there taking orders too. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu“
“I go to wooly pig at least once a week - either for dine in or takeout. I’ve gone for work lunches, dinner with friends, and takeout dinner to eat at home. I love the curry udon with fried chicken and the Asian chicken salad. Honestly I wish I could have this for dinner every single night! The employees are also incredibly friendly and amazing!!“
“A nice little breakfast restaurant in San Francisco. Usually a little crowded and loud in the mornings. The food is decent, we had a breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict and French toast. The French toast was awesome. The house coffee unexceptional.Kid-friendliness: Nothing special for kids.“
“Nice food but horrible brewed coffee. As you can see it is not properly filtere. When one charges $4 for a single cup of drip coffee it should at least be Keurig quality...I did however very much enjoy the waffle with fruit, and as such this I probably would return if I was staying longer.“
“Cute little breakfast spot. Was here visiting family and stopped for breakfast before my flight home. Wait was about 10-15 min for table on Sunday morning at 10. Food came out pretty quick. I had potato pancake with scrambled eggs. Was very good. We also had Belgian waffle which was good. Bill for 3 breakfasts/coffees was slightly over $50. They have outdoor seating as well. Would definitely return here.“
“Don't let the unassuming shop front fool you into thinking this place is anything short of extraordinary.Fresh ingredients, thoughtful and creative recipes build on strong foundations. What a gem! Soups scream quality, the broccoli and cheese is one of the best I've had.Hard to go wrong here!“
“I've been coming here for years !! It's a good comfort spot for a simple but delish breakfast . I'm really just obsessed with their waffles . Service is always quick . Sometimes on a busy day there will be a wait for lunch rush. Everyone is so friendly“
“Hands down this is the best true diner in SF, if not the bay. It's fast, no nonsense, get in, know what you want, order, eat, get out. Its what a diner is meant to be. This is a small place with a fast paced environment, you're not on Seinfeld.“
“Its been a few year since I was last here. Not a bad spot. Their signature coffee was pretty good from what I remember. Also the food options are good.I use to work in the building they are part of, so I frequented this spot. Not a bad option for coffee or lunch.“
“Delicious food! Tried most savory items on the menu, all were fantastic. It might be that I am always starving when I go, but each time hits so hard.I recommend the Chilaquiles. They do them crispy-style, with salsa and beans on the side. The staff is neighborly, and quick to refill your coffee. The manager looks like Bob Hoskins.“
“My first time here, this place wasn't crowded when I went here, but they were getting a ton of door dash orders. The reviews kept talking about the French toast, which was odd to me, but I had to see what the hype was all about. The place was clean and nicely decorated with pictures and paintings. Everything is made fresh to order, so be prepared to wait. We ordered: 1. French Toast: This definitely was true to the hype. It was so fluffy and sweet. It didn't need syrup. 2. Chilaquiles - The chips were crunchy and had a light kick. Like once you start eating, you can't stop. This definitely hit the spot. 3. Chorizo breakfast burrito - So flavorful and meaty. Perfect ratio of chorizo, egg, and beans. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back.“
“Dude, this place is awesome. Reviewers offering less than 4* are just grumpy and sour curmudgeons! The lady behind the counter always knows who I am - sees me walk in and immediately starts my coffee order. She’s an absolute saint. Food is delicious.“
“I go to Angel's for the breakfast burrito with bacon. It always delivers, esp. with some hot sauce. The building and interior need some TLC, but if you look past that you'll discover a gem with quick, friendly service. Grab coffee from Catahoula across the street.“
“i’ve been here twice both for their French toast platter that I’ve gotten via takeout. Even with me traveling with the food whenever I get home with it it’s still delicious. Their French toast is so fluffy and they give you three pieces. They’re also cheaper than the place that’s right next door and uses regular bread for their French toast. The coffee felt a little overpriced. I get a bigger, tastier cups from Peets for the same price and a bigger and tastier cup for less at Arizmendis“
“The tea scones are the best! I like mixed berry. It taste like a scone/biscuit. They sell in some grocery stores but they run out fast so I go straight to the source.I had the blueberry pancake today and it was delicious! One was plenty! Not thin but not too thick either. The service was great. The restaurant is always busy with guest but I can always get a seat or I take to go. Must try scones. ?“
“Little Griddle used to be across the street from the Square/Uber building (10th & Market St). They are now at the DOUGH CAFE location (at the Square Building). There are indoor and both outdoor seating with ceiling heaters. They are open for breakfast and lunch. You can either order at the kiosk or with the cashier. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. There are some street parking on 11th, but it's VERY HARD to find. There are paid parking lots on 11th street. The cafe is located right off of Van Ness Muni Station and a few blocks from Civic Center bart station. The food is just as good as before, both breakfast and lunch food are good. We got the PLAIN CHICKEN BURGER, BORING TURKEY SANDWICH, and CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD. They were all really good, we would definitely come back to this. The food are reasonable priced , it's not outrageous expensive.“
“Not bad, but also a bit ‘plain Jane.’ Wanted a simple scramble and wasn’t expecting a giant layer of cheap processed cheese coating the top of my meal (seriously like a Chicago style deep dish pizza). I’d order the chorizo again tho, just without cheddar.Food came out super fast. Both waitresses seemed super attentive. Ty for having me and cheers.“
“I came back with my dad, and this time, we brought along my mom, my brother, and his partner. The waiting-in-line-on-the-sidewalk thing is still a thing, but we sped through the line, and we were seated almost immediately after my brother arrived. The food is phenomenal. There's all this no-substitution finickiness on the menu, but everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and there are some interesting vegetables and fruits that they use in place of more traditional ones. I can't remember any right now, but some of the flavor combos were wild in a good way. They're still super efficient. Not quite as nice as before, but no one was rude. The portion sizes are still big, but the prices seem way higher than before. I wasn't paying, so I didn't care, but it was something I noticed, and sometimes I try my hardest to ignore San Francisco pricing, because it's just depressing. Come hungry, and you'll leave happy.“
“I tried the donuts and some other pastries.Really fresh and I was impressed with the glazed donut, especially for this price in comparison with other bakeries around the West coast. Solid bakery, really fresh stuff and the recipes are thought through. Fluffy and not too sugary imo. Not coming from the US and having tested a few donuts in the US, i really liked this one. Also had a good french Toast breakfast with Bacon and eggs one morning, but the plate looked a bit empty. Or better that the portion could have been a bit bigger. Also i don't know how this really fits together as one meal, but it seems like a thing. For this prices you can't go wrong in the SF area imo.“
“Great, no frills neighborhood breakfast and coffee shop. Traditional selections served plainly and quickly. Front tables situated by large windows make for great people and scenery watching.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and bathroom. Maneuvering will be tight but tables/chairs can accommodate.“
“I found myself around Valencia late Sunday morning, so of course, I had to do brunch at RAW Sugar Factory. Chicken and Waffles were perfect and balanced for brunch since it comes with fruit. If you like matcha, you've got an option to have it added atop the waffle. It's definitely a must have.“
“Gathered here with a group of friends. 8 of us showed up, and the staff was kind enough to quickly put a couple tables together and take great care of us. The food was delicious as always, prices are reasonable, and they were extra kind to accommodate us each with separate checks, which is wonderful and saved us all from having to haggle over who owes what, and is the tip big enough.Parking: Pay attention to street sweeping signs if you park in the nearby neighborhoods, or you may come back to a parking ticket.“
“Warm welcome from the young waitress and excellent breakfast/brunch.The house coffee is light, perfect, to accompany the crispy bacon breakfast sandwich and the hash brown pancake, the same for the corned beef hash or the Church Street omelette. What can we say about the superb blueberry pancakes whose dough is very slightly sweet (appreciable for blood sugar levels). As for the sweet orange juice, just the right amount. All served generously.A good price-performance ratio.Practice before tackling the path leading to Golden Gate Park on foot“
“Oh, my, god...I still can't get over how good this place was!! This has got to be the best Thai Brunch I've had and there wasn't a single dish that we didn't like! Did I mention, they have bottomless mimosas for $22 and you can try different flavors with each new refill I highly recommend bookmarking this place for your next brunch!* Curry Puff* Thai Tea Pancakes* Stuffed French Toast* Spiced Maple Chicken & Waffle* Mama Pad Kee Mao* Kaeng Karee Gai Tod* Plumlicious Bacon* Bottomless Mimosas* Bloody Mary“
“Randomly stumbled upon it when looking for the other Little Sweet location in Union Square. The boba drinks are similar to other Little Sweet locations and the staff is super nice and friendly! One of the staff members told us about the upstairs lounge (which I love!) in the hotel which guests can use. There are couches, chairs, arcade machines, and even giant TVs. Sometimes it's hard to find a cozy, comfortable place in the city where you can have boba and just chill, and so it's awesome that this location offers that right in downtown. I hung out with my friend there and it was a clean, cool spot to catch up!“
“Good place to get breakfast/brunch without breaking the bank. The biscuits were hot fresh & soft on the inside. Corned beef hash and croquettes were also very tasty. The plain white rice could use some type of sauce/gravy but also pairs well with either the hash or croquettes.“
“The food is creative and delicious! Dad and mom work the front of the restaurant and they are absolute gems: attentive, friendly and they make the dining experience special and fun. The food options were tantalizing and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back! The experience would be even better if the interior looked more like earlier photos (less cluttered and more stylish).Vegetarian options: There are some options available.Parking: No dedicated parking, street parking only.“
