“Just a heads up this establishment is open! I'd driven past the San Francisco produce terminal and the 101 restaurant and bar sign out front many times while getting on the 101 South headed to job sites. Finally stopped by to see what's going on, thinking because it's within the produce terminal and truckers tend to eat where they can park, I gave it a shot. And I've been eating breakfast there every week or so since! Everything about the breakfast is outstanding! I like the American breakfast, the eggs are really fresh, the bacon is freshly cooked, the potato medley is really unexpectedly delicious and of course the sour dough toast is a San Francisco staple. Considering it's location there's no surprise how fresh everything is. The one thing that caught me off guard is that the coffee is made per cup, i.e, beans are ground brewed for you every cup and is excellent! So I'd consider this establishment to be one of the best kept secrets in the bay area. Which is sad because it's so great. I'd suggest if your anywhere close to 101 Restaurant and Bar that you find your way over and take advantage of the exceptionalism of Ms. Mercy.“
“Typical diner food choices but prepared really well, not heavy with grease and salt but still plenty of flavour. Their French toast and waffles are served with real pale syrup. The coffee is good. This place is just good!!! Solid and reliable.Vegetarian options: Good veggie omplets, scrambles and eggs Benedict. The country potatoes are great and all the beige foods vegetarian eat. Or not. I'm not a Veg-head so not sure what the heck they deem as food.“
“I was staying at the travel lodge and saw this place next door to it. Was hungry after a long day of travel and stopped in to eat. The place was busy with only one waitress on the floor and a guy helping to clean tables. I order eggs, bacon, and toast. The order was up fast and was very good. Some people can in and left because she was too busy to get to them.“
“We usually get the hash brown sandwich with my partner. It’s always delicious and very simple looking breakfast, with lots of flavor. They are faster than F1 fast car.!!! Friendly environment. Parking on street is pretty much available during the morning since not much people is there.This one of the many pictures in the table which makes the place pretty interesting to look at.“
“The food tastes amazing and the delivery driver was punctual although having said that, wax paper would keep the cheese from ripping up patches of cardboard after it slightly cools in transit and the butter for the pancakes was off to the corner mostly absorbed into the container and started to revert back to a solid.it would have been more efficient to package it in a sauce cup.the whole bottom layer of eggs ended up being inedible and the 7.50 delivery charge made the drivers tip uneconomical on a $20 dollar order.“
“I was visiting the city and stopped by for some breakfast with friends which turned out to be the best decision ever! We had the everything bagel with cream cheese, croissant with egg and cheese, and croissant with tuna, tomatoes, lettuce, and hot sauce (if not more items). The food was rich in flavour and the staff are incredible and very nice. We stopped by the next day for some more croissants with egg and cheese!“

“Was going to take a friend visiting to Son and Garden, but this popped up and was on the way. We walked in on a Sunday at 10am with no reservation and were seated immediately. Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere (other than the tables being a little too close together). I now prefer this over S+G. It feels like the cool younger sibling“

“This is an excellent spot where breakfast is always excellent! This is the only place where I can order grits that are perfectly cooked and exactly how I remember them! I found this hidden spot when ordering on Door Dash; although I had lived in SSF for years and did not know about this hidden gem! Highly recommend! I will be ordering lunch soon as I am sure it will be just as good.“
