“I have been grabbing pizza from here from time to time and they never failed to make a great 4-cheese white sauce pizza. Reminds me of what my mom picked up back in North Carolina when I was a kid. Ordered on the phone today and the guy accidentally heard “Portuguese” instead of 4 Cheese. They had both on the menu, I had no idea so I felt bad! Thankfully he did not charge for another pizza and actually upgraded me to a bigger size. He let me try the Portuguese slice too. Great place, food, and service!!“
“A solid tuna melt. Good mix of crisp and gooey. I liked the bread they used but a classic rye might have been better. I used a mechanic here recently so this might become a regular mechanic related stop (though hopefully I don't have to go to the mechanic too regularly).“
“I am officially sold. This place used to be a dive, but they've invested a good amount in here to make it friendly, cozy, and modern. The walls have been redone, the lighting is new, and the fixtures are all new. There's a super long bar area and plenty of booths and counters as well. Service is great, and their happy hour is $3 off everything. Honestly, it's kind of a steal, and you get to bring in food from neighboring restaurants. We were here on a Friday night and it wasn't super packed. You could still talk to your friends and watch whatever was playing through their regular broadcast networks. Will be back!“
“Typically shorter lines for both dine-in and drive thru than other local In-N-Outs. Staff taking orders often make mistakes if your order is outside of the super standard orders. An example is if you order extra well done fries they would only put in well done. Our most recent visit also had an error in our order where we ordered a double double and two cheese burgers but only received three cheese burgers. Unfortunately, we didn't double check before leaving the window so it was our loss. So I would recommend carefully checking your orders before driving off when using the drive thru.Parking: Drive thru line often obstructs parking spaces so parking or leaving the parking is oftentimes difficult.“
“Love the fact that you can customize your burger and have the option of no bun. Have your burger as a lettuce wrap.Garlic fries are definitely worth it. My favorite was chicken sandwich on fresh ciabatta bun & chipotle aioli, I added fried egg & grilled onions, oh boy, it was so good.?Must try their shakes & soft serve cone. They do have an outside patio.I usually order for pickup, sit outside to get fresh air & enjoy the sunny weather during my lunch break.“
“Super cute tiny spot! We came during rush hour so the wait for our order was 40 mins to an hour. The ladies were super sweet and gave us free donuts though! They're really funny and made it a bit better. The drinks themselves were just the right amount of sweetness and we'd definitely recommend the ube boba drink!“
“Very strange experience. I ordered the Ohana Supa Bowl with bbq chicken. It was the same exact thing as a plate.. just served in a bowl. It wasn't prepared differently. This chicken was not diced differently. It was 3 or 4 bbq'd whole chicked thigh fillets with 2 scoops of rice and heaping portion of mac salad. Why is this on the menu?Edit: the food item was not bad, it was merely confusing. Maybe if it was called a small plate I would have been less confused.“
“Hands down, best pizza in the area. Both thin and deep dish are outstanding, with great fresh flavors. Favorite Deep Dish = Classic Favorite Thin = Chicago Chop or Custom (Salami, Mushroom, Sausage) Anyone who says this pizza is no good must be a fan of the fast food chains which are thumbs down to me. If you like a tasty pizza, try Blue Line. If they don't have a pizza you like, make a custom one.“
“My boyfriend and I live right next to the Starbucks at Fairmont but have stopped going to Starbucks due to us boycotting them. My boyfriend and I work at specialty coffee shops where we make a lot of espresso focused drinks; because of this we mostly buy frappes or drip coffee whenever we need a fix. The frappes here are better than their competitors, tasting more like coffee than just sugar which we enjoy. It's a great post lunch dessert we get for ourselves as we read or do work together. I got a caramel latte macchiato, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the tree! It was very sweet to get, made by a taller guy with slightly shaggy straight hair. What really makes it are the staff here. There is a community of people that exists of regulars that come in. The staff are respectful and none judgmental of our orders (which, is really nice since I know our drinks are harder to make). They remember us and they're all usually very sweet and helpful. My only complaint is that there is a slightly older gentleman who works there, I think he might be a shiftlead or manager? I rarely see him. He was nice, however, he yelled the drinks super loudly. Like drill sergeant level yell. Which I understand, especially when guests don't pick up their drinks but it disrupted the vibe of the space a bit.Otherwise this place continues to be a safe place for my partner and I to be able to come and relax.“
“Egg Custard Tarts (Dan Tat) are really good. The crust is flakey and the custard is smooth and has structure. Not too sweet is the best compliment! You can eat 100 of these and not get tired of them. They have a matcha variation that is very impressive. There are floral notes of the tea and it's a bit sweeter for the sweet tooth's out there. The prices are a bit higher, but I would say it's justified with the quality of a a family owned business that doesn't get much foot traffic from the masses. What a hidden gem. P.S. bring cash! I'll be back for more!“
“I actually really love this place, it’s combined with joyride pizza which is delicious. It’s near some sort of an office building/campus so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend leaving SF to come here (it’s not exactly a bustling little neighborhood with other things to do) but it’s a great spot to grab a beer if you’re local to Daly City.“
“Happy Lemon is always a reliable spot for great quality tea drinks and over the years, they've really upped their milk tea offerings. I love that this is in the same mall as Target because that makes it an easy drink to grab and shop around (which is dangerous, I know).I went with their classic milk tea with soy milk and boba (half sugar and ice). My drink was well made and not too sweet. Boba was on the harder side today but this is likely from them trying to make a lot of it at once.Note: they use a non-dairy creamer by default but these are not vegan. If you're looking for a completely plant-based milk option, opt for their soy milk.Dietary restrictions: They offer non-dairy milk substitutes“
“Despite walking by several times in the past, I never paid attention to this place until seeing their other locations in the State. I finally decided to try it. Greek food is similar to Mediterranean food. We got the souvlaki chicken pita wrap and the beef teki (ground beef kabob) bowl. The wrap had fries, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and sauce in it and was surprisingly good. The bowl had yellow rice, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, sauce and was tasty as well. The bowl was more substantial than the souvlaki which was more of a light meal. Though, they did mention the souvlaki had a combo meal option. With an extra side of fries, it would have been filling and great. For dessert we had the frozen yogurt with baklava and honey. They do the yogurt right as it's tart yet sweet. Very good. The baklava and honey is even sweeter so overpowers the yogurt. Glad I tried it but I'd rather have these on their own. Next round will opt for yogurt only.Order at the counter and they bring you your food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is available as they are located in the Westlake strip mall. The bathroom was dirtied by customers and wasn't cleaned. Puddle on floor by toilet. Sticky doors. Minus 1/2 a star for that, 3.5.“
“Definitely get here early or be prepare to wait! The service is A+! I got the omakase and it was very well put together. A reasonable price for a 10 piece, there were a few scales here and there, and the miso soup was slightly too sweet but very worth the price!“
