“After having lunch around the area, I stumbled upon this cute little bakery off the La Loma market. They have interesting Mexican and Latin American desserts. We got:Alfajores $2.50 DULCE DE LECHE SANDWICH COOKIESand a big hearty slice of Churro cheesecake for $3.50 Both of these desserts were new to me and oh lord were my tastebuds happy! Service was so friendly and I appreciated them explaining what everything was. Their treats were super enjoyable. I would definitely pop in again to try something else if I'm ever in the neighborhood. Parking is a little difficult in the area though so be prepared to circle around a few times.“
“I've passed this place a few times and finally tried it. The ambiance is inviting and definitely a spot where you can chill out catch up with friends. You can even take a picture in front with the bunny.I had the matcha soft serve taiyaki. The cone was chewy and delicious. Not fresh made like other places but it was delicious and went well with the soft serve matcha. I also had the iced matcha latte the worker recommended. It was a rich, creamy, and earthy flavor. I highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.“
“We came back to this Haagen Dazs shop and we were greeted with a smile this time around by their employees. Ciclaly took care of our orders and apologized profusely for our experience the last time we were here. Needless to say, they made everything right! We will definitely be coming back in the near future! I'm“
“Workers welcomed me in with a smile! Love their attitude, made small talk with the employees assisting me while she mixed my ice-cream. Enjoyed the conversation and the delicious banana ice-cream. Both workers were friendly. Will be coming again.“
“The best dessert/ice cream in San Francisco and an absolute gem in sf. Hilas caffe is your one stop for Italian desserts- gelato, cakes, pastries- and Italian coffee.Hila’s gelato is absolutely amazing- perfect texture, light, not too sweet. The pistachio and saffron flavors are perfect. Her espresso is also great! There’s also all kinds of Italian pastries and desserts… including a pistachio cornetto, my favorite pastry in the world! Cornettos are similar to croissants (but imo, lighter, less sweet and just better). For 9 months, I’ve been trying to find a pistachio cornetto in San Francisco like the one I had while visiting Italy without success. I finally found it at Hila’s and it was perfect, filled with pistachio cream. I wish I took a picture.Hila herself is so funny and kind- and patiently practiced speaking Italian with me.Her space is in a lovely part of mission near Dolores park and has a few seats inside. If I lived closer, I’d probably come every day ;)Grazie Mille Hila :)“
“Flavors are very accurate of their name like chocolate caramel crunch, birthday cake (with actual whole pieces of real cake), tiramisu, etc. unsure if the price is worth the amount however. Otherwise lovely warm atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Provided indications of flavors that were vegan and gluten free.“
“Garden Creamery offers some unique and delicious ice cream flavors. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, though! There's almost always a line snaking outside the shop, and it can take 10-15 minutes to get your hands on a scoop (or two). The indoor seating is also very limited, so be prepared to enjoy your ice cream on the go or find a spot on a nearby bench.Despite the wait, the staff at Garden Creamery is fantastic. They're friendly, patient, and happy to answer your questions about their ever-rotating selection of exotic flavors. Here's where Garden Creamery truly shines. If you're looking for something beyond vanilla and chocolate, this is the place. They offer a wide range of options, including vegan choices, that incorporate Asian-inspired ingredients. For my visit, I tried the Calamansi Creamsicle (vegan) - a delightful tart and creamy coconut dream featuring a Philippine lemon. The Ken's Korner (Oahu) was another winner, combining Hawaiian vanilla ice cream with a sweet and savory hit of Ken's horner Hing Mui Sauce and passion fruit preserves. They also have more adventurous flavors like durian, hojicha (roasted green tea), Thai tea, and even black sesame. If you don't mind the wait and the limited seating space and you are looking for a truly unique and flavorful ice cream experience, then Garden Creamery is the place. Just be prepared to be patient and adventurous! 4 stars for the delicious and creative flavors and the friendly staff.“
“I'll start off by saying yes, this does taste just as good as it looks. I'm so glad I gave this place a shot. It was super eye catching and looked like a very unique take on ice cream. Their flavors and pastries are all hand crafted from what I could tell and it shows because they taste amazing. Everything I had was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely be coming back. When we went, there was only one person working so be prepared to wait but I promise that it's worth it. I will say next time I'll probably go with a regular scoop because I feel like I got less ice cream than my girlfriend who didn't get the bun. The bun however, was very flavorful and wasn't too thick, which I appreciated. Also if you get a bun, it does melt and get messy which is to be expected so be prepared for that. Overall, absolutely love this place and would highly suggest to any ice cream enjoyer.“
“Found this place randomly when we were in the area - Tom is so wonderful and kind. Very sweet and friendly, which definitely makes the experience even better. The ice cream is great and reasonably priced for the gigantic amount he gives. Would highly recommend coming here and seeing Tom.“
“I had to pay a visit to Baskin-Robbins today for a quick snack, opting for a medium Caramel Turtle Truffle milkshake (no whip cream) as my go-to Pralines 'n Cream was unexpectedly out of stock. However, the helpful employee suggested the Caramel Truffle, and it didn't disappoint! The taste was quite impressive, and I wouldn't mind ordering it again. What's also great about this place is the hassle-free parking, a big plus! Prices are reasonable, and the ice cream quality is decent, in my opinion. Moreover, the customer service is good, with efficient and friendly staff. The establishment itself is clean and they have tables for you to enjoy your snack. If you happen to be around Daly City's Westlake Shopping Center, I highly recommend giving Baskin-Robbins a try. It's a convenient, pleasant experience all around!“
