“Ice cream flavors always made according to your request, taste fresh and the girl that served my daughter was very friendly , she even shared her some kpop souvenirs , did not expect that .Way to go ?, I keep coming back to see what more new flavors they have ?“
“The best dessert/ice cream in San Francisco and an absolute gem in sf. Hilas caffe is your one stop for Italian desserts- gelato, cakes, pastries- and Italian coffee.Hila’s gelato is absolutely amazing- perfect texture, light, not too sweet. The pistachio and saffron flavors are perfect. Her espresso is also great! There’s also all kinds of Italian pastries and desserts… including a pistachio cornetto, my favorite pastry in the world! Cornettos are similar to croissants (but imo, lighter, less sweet and just better). For 9 months, I’ve been trying to find a pistachio cornetto in San Francisco like the one I had while visiting Italy without success. I finally found it at Hila’s and it was perfect, filled with pistachio cream. I wish I took a picture.Hila herself is so funny and kind- and patiently practiced speaking Italian with me.Her space is in a lovely part of mission near Dolores park and has a few seats inside. If I lived closer, I’d probably come every day ;)Grazie Mille Hila :)“
“Love the pumpkin it’s-it!! Made a special trip for that, since it’s not really sold in stores and it’s pretty hard to find which stores sell it. Totally worth the trip. They also offer a styrofoam with dry ice if you forget your own freezer bag or ice chest for $10“
“This place really is a gem! Not the best hours, but never disappoints. The owner is very accommodating and oh so sweet. Amazing prices means you can take the whole family, or be a cool local and flex on em with a new mom n’ pop shop. Great treat in the heart of the Mission. ShoutoutKid-friendliness: Samples / small sizes / affordable / not overwhelming“
“TLDR: longtime institution with plenty of flavors and can spin the wheel for a chance at free ice cream! This place has been here a long time and the ice cream is always good. I like the weird flavors like durian but also the regular flavors like mint chocolate chip and interesting flavors like blueberry cheesecake. Small space but line moves quick as well, come try out the local spot!“
“I recently went here for a sweet treat. Heaps of sorbets that are all vegan. There must be close to a dozen vegan sorbets and a few vegan ice cream flavors.I went with half strawberry sorbet and half dragon fruit sorbet. It was quite alright. Worth checking out if in the area.“
“OMG! You haven't had ice cream until you've had Mitchell's ice cream! Dozens of flavors and you can make any flavor ice cream into a milkshake! I had a eggnog single scoop in waffle cone and a pumpkin milkshake that was absolutely amazing! Staff are very friendly and attentive. But beware if you go during peak hours as the line can get pretty massive but we'll worth the wait! They do not disappoint!“
“Love their hojicha latte! I've ordered from here often and I usually get the hojicha latte, regular sweet + light ice + boba. Boba is hit or miss here; it could be sweet or flavorless, but most of the time it's sweet. Service is always timely and attentive.“
“There are few foods I enjoy more than a fresh deli sandwich, and I was quite pleased with the sandwiches at Cafe Stellato! Cafe Stellato is a very cute cafe that greets you with a display of fantastic looking gelato (which I will be trying next time I come in!). But there are also a plethora of sandwich options available to those who make their way in toward the back of the cafe. I ordered the Stellato Special with the works, and my partner ordered the Alpino. The combination of turkey, artichoke, and sun dried tomatoes were delicious, and the ingredients all tasted very fresh. When asked, I opted for the spicy calabrese spread, though I was slightly disappointed that there was no real spice to it. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the Alpino as well, and commented multiple times on how tasty the pancetta (Italian bacon) was!Our order was taken very quickly, and the sandwiches were prepared nice and quickly. Everyone working there was friendly and efficient.I will definitely be coming back to eat my way through more of their sandwich menu. And next time, I think I'll be topping it off with some of that great looking gelato!“
“Cute little place with lots of ice cream, sherbet, and sorbet options. They also make smoothies and affogato, although I'd skip that last one as the coffee was not very good. Still, the service was good and I'd happily support this small shop in the future.“
“I was in the city visiting some friends and we wanted ice cream. This was down the street from where we were staying and i decided to give it a try. I had oreo and my friend got peanut butter indulgence. Ice cream was above par! Tasted fresh, creamy, and airy. I didnt get a chance but next time i will be ordering their black walnut!“
“January 2024:They have Lapperts ice cream ?!Stopped by and ordered the waffle bubble with ube ice cream and macadamia nut ice cream. My goodness! It was SOOOO GOOOOD ?.People there were very friendly. I will definitely be back again for more delicious ice cream!“
“Worth trying but not necessarily returning. The sandwiches were good but not great, fresh ingredients and well prepared but nothing nocks your socks off in terms of flavor. Ihad the Dagwood on Dutch Crunch and also tried the pastrami on a soft roll and both were just OK. Sep 2015.“
“Came here after reading on Next-door that they have fantastic peanut brittle, one of my favorites. Said it was better than See's. $24/lb, not cheap, and See's still better! We bought a few other things, really enjoyed their chocolate covered toffee.“
“I ordered six Paletas for a friend's birthday. I emailed them a few days ahead of time and told them which day Id like to pick them up. Due to the circumstances (shelter in place) they were able to offer me these flavors: 100%Mango Vegan Honey Raspberry Vegan Caramelized fried banana Dairy Mexican Abuelita Chocolate Dairy They were ready for pick up on the agreed on time and packaged in dry ice which lasted for a few hours sitting outside. Nancy was super helpful and responsive making the whole thing simple. The Paletas were super delicious - the banana and Mexican chocolate were favorites. Would definitely recommend.“
“I loved the chocolate gooey brownie scoop with waffle cone. I also had the Coffee and love nuts but I wouldn’t suggest that.Parking: We parked outside BHS and walked to the store.Kid-friendliness: There were a lot of kids at the store, and the staff were so friendly in letting us try all the flavours we wanted.“
“I was in a rush, needing to eat something. The people were very nice. I ordered a crepe and a black tea with red bean (no more bobba ?) I noticed later there was milk in it (I did not want milk as my body don't like it). My mistake in ordering (I hate ordering via a machine)? Or theirs? I don't know. It was good from a taste perspective. The crepe was good also.“
“Super glad this place survived the pandemic. The staff are friendly, the shop has a classic feel that’s missing in most places, and the food! - you’ll never leave hungry. Even the regular sandwich size is well portioned. Bbq beef is my go-to.Love the smoothies as well. My favorite is the strawberry banana.“
“We tried their signature purple rice yogurt dessert and were pleasantly surprised by its delicious taste! The rice, seemingly cooked in coconut milk and brown sugar (our unconfirmed guess), adds a delicate flavor that pairs well with the plain vanilla yogurt. We loved it and will definitely return to explore more flavors!“
“Solid, good sandwich. Ordered the Matt Cain because they were out of pulled pork for the Cubano, which I'll have to come back and try since my sandwich was great. Understandable that they were out of something as i came in pretty close to closing time. Perfect portion of meat, not too much but definitely enough condiments and toppings. Toasted to perfection. Good conversation with the owner. I'll be back!“
“Creamy ice-cream with plenty of unique flavours you wouldn’t normally see at other places. Small store with a handful of seats and washroom available. Some merchandise also available for sale. Limited parking nearby though, so you might need to park then walk a few minutes to pick-up.“
“I loved their service, they were very kind to me and my friend, letting us try their flavors before picking out our orders. The frozen yogurt was absolutely delicious, as well as their variety of toppings and sauces. Also, they switch two of their flavors every week, so customers will always have a new flavor to try. If you are new to Easy Breezy, I would recommend getting their vanilla custard, chocolate milk, or the incredible original tart. The vibe of this shop was very welcoming, as well as their employee. Overall, I love this place, and hope their business continues to thrive.“
“Best Boba place on the Peninsula, Hands down. Great ice cream as well for when kids want Boba but I want ice cream. ?Vegetarian options: You can pretty easily make drinks vegan as well.Dietary restrictions: They have different options for milks and the drinks are highly customizable.Kid-friendliness: My kids love this place. They agree it’s the best Novak place ever.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor with close access to the door from the parking lot/disabled parking spots. Accessible/ramped curbs.“
