All three items were delicious and very tasty. Their seating arrangements in patio is like middle eastern style facing water fountain. Bolani were crispy and sauces on Borani had great chef touch. “The Gurkha Kitchen is a mini chain selling Nepalese halal eats. It opened where Pho Viet was. Interior mostly unchanged save for the added pics on walls & a flatscreen. Light music in background. Greeted upon arrival, assigned table, given menu. I ordered quickly. Food cooked to order. Came in 10ish minutes. Offerings (Nepalese version): appetizers, Nepali Khaja set, Thakali Thali, desserts, tandoori, momos, veg./non veg. entrees, Indo Chinese, rice & biryani, drinks, beers. Eats: Khasi ko Sekuwa (18.99) country style BBQ goat. Marinated with many Himalayan herbs/spice -served with sliced carrots/cucumbers, red onions, cilantro, potato salad. Lightly battered, had nuanced flavors of spicy, tanginess, subtle sweetness. -accompanied by large serving of lightly fried pieces of rice, jalepeno slices, mucho peanuts, -comped nicely made chai. Didn't pair with BBQ. Was informed when ordering it's "bar food". It sure was filling. Took most of it to go. Yummy it was. 4.5 stars: most diverse Nepalese ever seen! So far great food at 2 locations. Worth repeating...“
“First time here. Greeted at the door, given plenty of time to view the large menu. Ordered the vegetable plate (#17 on the menu) came with pita bread & a flat bread, both very good. Ordered #18, vegetable moussaka, on recommendation of cashier after we asked if the cheese was dairy-free as family member dining with us is lactose-intolerant and we were told yes, as it was vegan. When orders were ready, we thought the cheese on the moussaka looked far too much like dairy cheese, so we asked again if it was dairy-free and were told that no, it was cheese made from milk! This was disappointing because it looked really good and we were all hungry, but we would've ordered falafels for our uncle had we known that the moussaka contained cheese. Not sure if it was a language issue, as our family member had actually asked if it was vegan, just to avoid any issues later. He felt that they confused vegan with vegetarian, which makes sense. We weren't offered a refund on the moussaka, which was surprising as Truva is a pricey. We thought the appetizer plate was quite delicious, but certainly not enough for four people for lunch and we never expected that to be enough for our whole group in the first place. We will probably go again to give Truva a second chance as the food was yummy, and we felt very authentic compared to other Middle Eastern restaurants we've tried. Deducting a star since we didn't get a refund on a dish our uncle didn't (couldn't) eat. Parking lot on the premises is free for guests, but we had to wait a bit until someone left. Street parking is available, but tight during peak hours. Lovely outdoor space to eat, and even in cold weather, it was delightful and nicely decorated with real and plastic flowers and greenery.“

“My husband and I stopped by at this restaurant, and the food was great, very clean place, great environment. Very family friendly. We were lucky to have found this new Mediterranean place. Just opened about a week ago. And everything was Amazing. The owners are very friendly, and welcoming. My husband ordered chicken Kabob, and beef and lamb, it was so good. “It's been said this is the best Nashville chicken to be had in the bay, and I don't disagree in the least. I enjoy my spicy food, so I sampled the Hot at the suggestion of our fantastic waiter, and eventually ordered the Medium+. Don't want to know what the Hot Hot tastes like. Heat was fantastic, but so was the spice and flavor. The fries could have been an afterthought, but were equally on point, well coated with a tasty seasoning blend.“

The crispy chicken is better than the rest, period, I said what I said. Give the Nashville spicy chicken one a try if you're feeling adventurous. The cheeseburger truly gives homemade with the tender beef cooked perfectly. There is nothing mini about these sandwiches but when you're cheating on your diet, the portion is guilt free.I appreciate the drink selection, especially since I'm not a soda fan. “We went there just for hummus today and we're so glad we did! It was the best hummus we've had since our honeymoon in the Middle East 40 years ago. It's very smooth and creamy with just the right amount of lemon. The owner showed us photos of his grandfather who created the recipe. We will definitely go back.“

While it’s lovely having the restaurant all to ourselves at munch time, I can’t help thinking that so many people are missing out. Better babaganoush you probably won’t savor anywhere served with fluffy, fresh, pillowy pita bread. We enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka version. The servers are so friendly and the atmosphere in the room is relaxing with lovely music in the background. We need to support these family businesses in the communities where/near we live. They have a Sunday brunch buffet that we look forward to trying too.“
“Finally tried this place and it was pretty good. Seasoning made it tasty and you can choose how spicy you want it and chicken was crispy. If you prefer non spicy it's not as tasty since there's no seasoning. I like that they give you pickles and sauces on the side so you can add if you'd like. Fries were crispy too and a good portion.“
