“A really excellent little restaurant! I thought their hummus was delicious, as were their fresh pita breads. I had the chicken kabob on pita sandwich and it was really good! Easily one of my favorite Mediterranean meals I've eaten in recent memory, highly highly recommended!!“
“Shah's is a truck, and I got it at the football game, so I can't really note on ambiance. The workers were nice! Food wise, it was great! However, the prices were pretty high for a food truck, a friend of mine got their loaded fries and it was about $20! I got a gyro myself and that too was delicious but I do think the menu prices are a bit high, and I wouldn't say the food is THAT amazing to justify it. Also, I think the peppers on top are a really nice touch!“

“I finished shopping at Trader Joe's and pumping gas at Arco near by. I was trying to decide what I was going to eat for lunch. Shah's Halal Food truck was a few yards away and caught my eye! Score!!! I walked up and was kindly greeted by the man at the counter. I ordered the lamb over rice. My food was handed to me in a paper bag at the side window, not too long after I paid. There was no more than a 2 minute wait. Once I grabbed my food, the man asked me what drink I wanted. Options were canned Pepsi or diet Pepsi, or water. Pepsi it is! I was excited smelling my delicious food through the bag. The lamb was calling my taste buds! Once I got back into my car, I took a few bites before I pulled out of the parking lot. Delicious!!! The rice was well cooked and flavorful, not sticky nor overcooked. The lamb was well seasoned and cut into into cubed, bite size pieces over the rice and lettuce. The sauce gave it a nice savory and spicy (I was asked if I want my food spicy when I ordered at the window) taste to it. I couldn't put my spork down! I definitely will order from Shah's again the next time I am in Davis. Thanks for lunch :)“
“100% of the time I order online for pick up and today decided to sit down and eat which we don't usually do with my daughter on the spectrum of autism she gets agitated really quickly. These kind people gave us fries while we waited to order. Wonderful people.“
“Tried the beef harowki, it was truly delicious! Generous portion size that ended up making two meals for me. Definitely a new favorite spot for a quick and portable lunch.There's also a great grocery portion to the store with a good selection of spices and imported items.“
“Quiet atmosphere, delicious food made fresh to order. The samosas are delicious as is the salad. We also tried the chapli kabob plate. The Jala ice cream treat was interesting and tasty. The macaroni dish could have used more sauce, but overall still 10/10. Excited to try more of their menu.“
“Great service! Food did take a while to prepare, but worth it. They are busy! The falafel combo plate was so good! Falafels are crispy on the outside and so soft inside and massive in size. The hummus is delicious and so is the pita! The only negative I have to say is that there isn't a restroom, so nowhere to wash your hands before you eat. It should just be a pick up or to go if restroom is not provided.“
