Morning After Breakfast Breakfast •

“I found this cute place by searching for oatmeal. The listing popped up as “Morning after breakfast” not “Cheebo” which was confusing when searching for the correct signage (and leaving a review).LOCATION - easy to find, corner spot, busy street.PARKING - no parking lot, very limited street parking shared with other restaurants.STAFF - Okay. Nothing special or extremely off putting. Silent quitting Is how it felt to me. I wasn’t greeted - I had to search for someone to ask if it’s self seating. The waitress didn’t charge me for toast ordered on the side (without me asking for it) which was a nice surprise.Unfortunately I didn’t use the straw because she brought it out with bare hands and set it on a table they probably clean with bleach. I’m not sure why wait staff doesn’t consider that part… most people want sanitary things to eat and drink from… why would you not use a napkin to carry & when giving to the customer? I still don’t understand why that isn’t common sense.VIBE - I actually loved the vibe, character and thoughtful fun/modern decor. Even the bathroom is quite unique. Outdoor seating is cute too. I’d go back just for the vibe.PRICING - Average / / High $20-35 per personFOOD - I ordered oatmeal from the “healthy options” portion of the menu. It was delicious but not very healthy. I mean - yes there were oats but it came made with whole milk (fat/cholesterol) and honey (I prefer to add my own sweetener). There are no low-fat milk options just almond, soy and whole. It came with a tiny bit of banana but they were generous with the berries. Like I said it was DELICIOUS. I’m definitely going back for more. The toast was extremely disappointing… it was super fresh but ruined because it wasn’t toasted at all. It was warmed bread that turned soft as they cut it and smooshed together in the center. Be sure to ask for it the way you want it… next time I’ll try “well done” and maybe get regular toast lol.ACCESSIBLE - Even though they have stairs from the bottom level table (there are 2 levels) they’ve installed a wheelchair lift to make it easy for all.I give a 5 star mainly because they’ve only been open 9 months. I’m sure they’re still working out the kinks but overall when I look at location, vibe, food and staff - they’re all good moving towards great but not quite there yet. I’m sure they’ll make it.Recommended!“

“The food is very good and it seems they use high quality ingredients. It also seems, however, that there are a couple things they could improve upon. My eggs in both dishes were unseasoned, they forgot the syrup in my pancakes order, and they forgot to give us the brownie we ordered. Maybe this is a new location and still ironing out the kinks. I could see myself changing my rating to 5 stars after a couple of more successful orders.“

“The place is overall amazing, workers are nice, food is great, but the service is a little slow. We waited a good 20 minutes before finally getting served. The workers are very nice and the place is beautiful. I usually order from Postmates and the food always arrives very quickly. I would totally eat here again just wished the service was a bit faster. Overall 5/5“
