“After all the great reviews I had to try it again since I haven't eaten here in years thought maybe it wasn't lacking flavor like I remembered it to be as a young girl but unfortunately my memory served me correctly it had no flavor I ended up throwing away 15.00 in food because I just couldn't eat it. I won't even talk about how unwilling they were to make any changes to the tacos to meet my dietary needs nor the filth at the ordering window. Sad because I had such high hopes had anticipated eatting here for weeks before I finally had the time to go in just to be terribly let down. “Just had my family over we were a table of 9. It was really busy and they still got us seated only having to wait a few minutes. The food was amazing everyone loved the menudo (only Saturday and Sundays). The staff was very attentive thank you everyone ?“

“This place was recommended to us for their jalapeño cornbread but the food is also delicious. We went here for lunch and got the brisket and rib plate which came with bread and potato salad that we decided to share. We also ordered the cornbread which is tasty and not too spicy. The place itself is not fancy and about average when it comes to the price.“
“Had reservations for Friday at 6:30 PM for 8 people. It was our first visit to Hawg Heaven BBQ. We were seated promptly. The service was efficient. Everyone commented on how tasty the dish they ordered: Pulled pork tacos, beef brisket sandwich, beef brisket plate, the combination plate (ribs, brisket). The evening was fun listening to crooner Douglas R. and eating BBQ.“
“I love coming here since I live right around the corner, it’s just a quick walk. The food is always great, especially their birria quesatacos! However I was a bit disappointed today with my order. I ordered the “dorados combo” which comes with comes with two birria quesatacos, rice & beans, and a drink. But I didn’t get any queso in my birria tacos. It was just two birria dorados. I’ve ordered this combo many times before and never had any issues so I am a little disappointed cause I know the combo includes the quesatacos. Nonetheless, I will still be coming here, but I guess i’ll just have to remind staff.“

“It is a spacious place, with several tables, clean, with toilets, with plenty of parking.Some staff is not so friendly, they have specials almost all the time and if you sit near the bar they have more specials, they also have a variety of alcoholic drinks, they have beer on tap.The first time we went, they were more pleasant, attentive and even the dishes were a little larger, the second time they were less friendly, the dishes smaller and the service a little slow. So you have to go with patience and without expectations.“
“By Far the Best Chili's I have gone to. I am the Deliver Guy whose been showing up to all the Chili's restaurants to deliver all your new stools. In the past 2 weeks I have been delivering to many Chili's restaurants in the surrounding areas LA county, OC, IE, and so on.This Chili's team in the city of Downey off Lakewood Blvd are well managed by Melinda. She and her team are extremely kind and humble. They greeted me and treated me with the up most respect and kindness so much that they even offered to help in whatever i might have needed help with and even offered beverage and a meal once i left.I am completely grateful to Melinda and her entire team. You have all done a great job maintaining this location i can see why it gets so packed compared to all the other locations i visited. I will definitely be returning to visit as a costumer here and I would like to encourage other to do so as well. They will treat you right and take care of all your needs.
