“Great place for cocktails in El Segundo. A lot of classic tiki drinks plus some twist. The purple passion and Vic's grog was my favorite. The atmosphere is a tiki bar with island vibes and music. The staff was super nice and very informative of recommendation of the drinks. There's also two billiard tables for entertainment besides the sports TVs.”

“We searched the internet for the best breweries near LAX and Five Point Five Brewery did not disappoint. It was worthy of its 4.9 stars! The Hazy Daisy IPA was hoppy and delicious. We split our pizza. My husband had the GTX muscle car and I had the VW Bus!. The Detroit style pizza’s were fresh and the dough was perfection! Loved the warm and relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely visit again!”

Let me explain. The whiz / provolone is melted into the meat. If you ask for extra cheese, it will not look any different. Just eat the sandwich and see how you feel

This is a genuine Philly cheesesteak. Slightly heavy-handed on the whiz, but I was very randomly and pleasantly surprised. I haven’t had that taste since 8 years of leaving Pennsylvania”

“Everything was nice. Food was tasted great, service was good and value was decent. However, the only issue that was not great was the patio area we were seated. We sat closest to shaded back area under the trees. The debris from the trees were all over the table and seating area. The hostess asked if we wanted it wiped down. Of course we said yes, but it shouldn't have been an option for patrons to decide. I'm not blaming the cafe for what trees do, I would assumed some sort of constant checking in to keep area clean from debris of the tree. Definitely will be back.”

“There are many sugary drink shops in El Segundo masquerading as coffee places. If you order a cup of black coffee at those places it will taste bitter and gross.

Bar Nine on the other hand has actually good coffee with good beans, plenty of free parking, and it's peaceful there.”

“I was searching for Chinese fast food and found this place. Conveniently located not far from the airport and the owner was friendly and attentive. I ordered the pork short rib (soy glazed), fried chicken wings (sweet and sour), and curry chicken (very flavorful). Since I got there 30 mins before closure, one third of the entrees were sold out but I’m still pleased with the what I got. I would recommend both curry chicken and chicken wings, the pork ribs are a little bit saltier to my preference.

Would consider coming back and try their rice or noodle next time!”

“I love this combination of Katsu and Poke Bar! I’m obsessed the food is soo good. The Katsu is crispy and The Poke was fresh and flavorful. I tried their Japanese Sparkling water for the first time is the best. The portions are big so it’s definitely good for sharing so it was worth it! The ambiance was casual and plenty of seating. The costumer service is great everyone was nice and fast service. I live for this combination especially I’m always on the go and love a good Japanese food.

Food: Pinkberry as a chain has a good, consistent soft serve frozen yogurt. They have a good variety of flavors and the toppings are fresh and quality. The serving sizes are good and priced accordingly.

Service: The night we went we had great service and it was fast/efficient. The portion size served was really good.

Ambiance: This is a standard Pinkberry set up and the inside was clean and well kept. The outside area is well lit at night and felt to be a safe environment.”

The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, but the front desk immediately found us one that was ready. I love the waiting area set up, and there was a cute large connect 4 game. I enjoyed a drink a bar, the bartender was very sweet. The floors are confusing, so be sure to ask the staff what floor your room is on. Parking was simple, it’s designated just for the hotel. You can pay hourly or do all day. There is a shuttle to the airport I think. We rented a vehicle though. You are walking distance from a pharmacy and a few restaurants. “This is in the medical plaza. I parked by the food places. The guy is really nice and takes his time, so it's nice if your needing a break and not rushing. I got the rose latte, but it's more like the wine than the flower, but it was pleasant. My Danish was pretty big, sort of more of the German style Danish, but it was good and filling.”
