“We had dinner at Cocina De Barrio. The ambience is very lively and loud but one would expect that from most restaurants. What was not expected was the cuisine. I use the word cuisine because the food is amazing. The presentation and preparation remind me of some Michelin star restaurants I've been to in San Diego. The staff is very knowledgeable regarding all the menu items and the many bar offerings. The staff was also very attentive without being overbearing. I'm still thinking about the guacamole dip made at our table. I highly recommend eating here. I know we will be back soon.“
“I totally forgot to take photos because I was enjoying myself so much!You need a reservation if you aren’t a guest at the hotel. We sat by the glass overlooking the ocean with a fire pit lighting our table and keeping us warm.Great atmosphere! Listening to the waves below.We had the prawns with shisitos, the clams, and the fish tacos. All of it was amazing. My favorite was the prawns with the chimichurri sauce. Divine!Server was super sweet. We were there near closing (6pm closing for food) and she was helpful to make sure we knew to order right away.Parking: If you don’t want to valet your car, you might need to park a couple minutes walk away. It’s easy, but may want to account for it with your reservation time.“
“This place is SO good my friend and I are here for the fourth time in the past two weeks ha! Seriously, the drinks are delicious and perfectly strong, the food is 10/10. I recommend the carnitas taco it is SO DAMN GOOD! They add crumbled chicharrón that takes it over the top. When in Encinitas give DBT a try you won't regret. Bonus - staff is awesome!!!“
“Parking can be a little challenging but with patience you’ll find a spot.Food was great! Service as well.It was a double date. We shared a large pizza and a the Apple walnut salad among the 4 of us. Salad not pictured we do outed it before I could take a picture.My husband also got the chicken Parmesan, with spaghetti.The bread they offer was dangerously good.“
“Stopped by tower last Wednesday for lunch and was greeted by julia the nicest bartender ever. She let me sample a couple of the house beers before I decided on the tower ipa which for a house beer was very impressive. The place has a ton of tvs as well as a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Food was enjoyable and I definitely will return. Hope julia is working next time I pop in!“

“Hands down the best California burrito I have ever had. The meat is so tender and flavorful. You can tell it's super high-quality. The tater tots are a fun substitute for french fries and I actually like them better. My biggest complaint is the size of the burrito... I wish I had more!!! It is delicious. It's on the pricey side at $17 and with tax it's almost $20 for a burrito which seems/is outrageous but it is literally the best Cali burrito I've ever had.The salsa work, but the burrito is heavenly. Do yourself a favor and try one. It's definitely a special treat.“
