“We hit up the Lab on our last night in Oceanside, and were quickly greeted and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The only negative I have, which was clearly just a mix up and resolved as soon as it was realized, was that we sat for nearly 25 minutes before someone came over. We didn't say anything for a while as we were exploring the menu, chatting and just taking in the scene, but once we did, the manager apologized and sent someone right over.The house white pasta was fantastic, and while there are other, more exciting things on the menu, I was just craving pasta and it was perfect! My husband got the jerk chicken sandwich and literally inhaled it; he loved it! The tater tots, too. Kids meals were great portions and enjoyed. One of the best meals we had in Oceanside!“
“My favorite restaurant from our recent trip to Oceanside! Everything was delicious. The kids meals were huge and their fries were so good. The pecan crusted salmon with brussel sprouts and sweet potato mash was incredible. Never have I ever had such delicious b sprouts and I was worried the sweet potatoes would be too sweet but they were perfect. The salmon was equally delicious and all around the dish was full of perfect bites.“
“It was my daughter's 21st b-day and she wanted to go somewhere that she could take nice pictures (it's all about those social media posts...lol) and have her first "legal" drink. This place definitely was a vibe! The service was great, the view and atmosphere was amazing, and the drinks were fancy/ pricey but good. We didn't really come for the food, but I will say that what we did get was one of the pricier things on the starters menu and the presentation was beautiful, but being the foodie that I am, I was a little disappointed with the taste. All in all, it was a great experience! My daughter was super happy with the whole experience and we all want to go back for another chill day soon.Parking: Because this is near the beach a lot of the parking in the immediate area is metered or paid parking lot. There is 2 and 4 hr parking about 2 blocks away.“
“This facility and staff are phenomenal! Great food, great service, and awesome venue!We were recently married in Oceanside and had our Groom's Dinner at the Vault. There are a ton of different dinner / menu options and working through details was easy and very engaging. We had a party of about 45 people head from WI to CA for our ceremony; everyone was impressed with the night!Some highlights:-We had the whole facility to ourselves for the scheduled hours (which includes on-site bathrooms)-Food was excellent; they worked with us on food priority as we had a bunch of small kiddos who were hungry-Specialty drinks were excellent; they put together a "bride" and "groom's" take on our suggested drinks-Staff was very professional and very upbeat-Great music selection and sound system.-You can watch the kitchen staff work; food is served family style as it's needed (people can eat when they want).Overall: This was our gift to those that came out to see our wedding and it did not disappoint. If you want easy, elegant, delicious and fun, don't hesitate.“
“First time eating at this establishment. Ordered menudo, though I'm not used to eating it without hominy it was delicious. The flavor and the fresh tortillas made up for not having hominy. Their salsa is also so flavorful. We willl be back.“
“We've visited PCS multiple times in the past month alone because we appreciate the quality service (including table service), excellent happy hour, and some pretty great cocktails. In an era of counter service only and automated menus, PCS is a great throwback spot for beer, whiskey, food, and service. The building has an indoor/outdoor concept, with a big outside patio wrapping around from the main entrance to the Pacific Coast Highway. Multiple indoor seating options with a view into the distillery. Excellent whiskey.“
“We've been to Frankie's many times so I'm not sure how I've not left a review yet. We came this most recent time for our sons 21st bday! If you haven't been to Frankie's you need to! It's a short walk to the pier as well. The vibe here is very speakeasy without the hassle. There is an outdoor patio area and beautiful booths to meet friends. The service is always amazing as the bartenders are the best!! The cocktails do rotate here and there and are always thoughtful and delicious. There's something for everyone from strong to light to zero proof. Currently the menu is a tour of Oceanside showcasing beverages from various parts of this amazing coastal city! Dogs are welcome and you can even bring in some take out.“
“I see this place daily and always wanted to try their food. This restaurant is a real hidden gem. Tucked inside the Carlsbad mall, you could easily miss them. I was craving a Miso soup, and they didn't disappoint. I also ordered mixed fried rice, and that had chicken and garlic diced inside, and that was decisions. “Nice place! The lovely young lady at the bar was very attentive and helpful, nice sense of humor. About 6 pool tables here. Several TVs which had football and such on a Sunday. Not dingy or dirty at all. Nice clean bathrooms. Good spot for a few drinks before dinner. Will go again.“
“Food was excellent. Kids menu is legit. Loved the shrimp and grits. And the wings were great too. Service was super fast and our server was very helpful. Sat on the patio. Table was comfortable and heaters worked well. Very glad we chose this place.“
