“Are the best donuts definitely my favorite in Encinitas. It's hard to pick just one. Sarah is sweet and friendly best donuts in Encinitas. Even got extra donut when I was there. She even has weekend donuts for the little ones. Ones look like elmo and cookie monster.Kid-friendliness: Weekends has donuts that look like cookie monster makes the little ones so happy.“
“This is the platonic ideal of a donut - large, fluffy, even crumb structure inside, and not that oily or heavy. Price is reasonable in this day and age (yes it's around $3 per donut, but you're getting twice as much donut as your $2 krispy kreme. Cash only. Better than a lot of these "boutique" donut places that focus on a sugar rush of flavor options because they stick to the classics and nail them. You'll find everything you'd expect from an old school donut spot - plain and chocolate glazed, cinnamon sugar, and sprinkled yeast donuts, some cake donuts, and the maple bar amongst some other bonus options. Grab a donut, grab a seat facing the street, and enjoy all the nice dogs coming through this spot.“
“Food (4/5 stars): A pretty good donut shop in Encinitas! Can't go wrong here if you're looking for some classic donuts Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: reasonable * Wait Time: no wait * Service: good and friendly * Parking: there's a parking lot * Ambiance: it's a simple, standard donut shop“
“I'm truly thankful to have Mochinut participated in my wedding. Everyone waved about it and a lot of them asked about the shop name. The communications with the store is convenient and easy, and they accommondate well. Thank you so much Mochinut, will always come back for more donuts.“
“This is one of my happy places. Its by the beach and there's a thriftstore in the same little strip mall. The donuts are super as evidenced by the constant foot traffic and cars coming and going Its got a great vibe. My favorite is the orange glazed. They're all really good. They have more than donuts too. Enjoy!“
“These are some of the best donuts on the San Marcos....actually in North County. I stick to San Marcos/Escondido area for donuts, but Crispy's really is a treat. These donuts might be some of the fluffiest that you can find. Even the next day they were still super soft. They have a really good variety of donuts readily made. Our favorites are the chocolate, crumb, maple and cinnamon rolls. All the donuts we had were delicious. They even have some tasty looking cronuts too, but I still have not had those yet, Depending on the time you show up there is ususally a short line, unless its that price 8-9am hour on the weekends. They are quick and friendly, with some space inside with some tables to chow down your donut. The store is in an older shopping center of Rancho Santa Fe, but that doesn't really matter since the donuts are A-grade. We come in from the opposite side of San Marcos, and they are worth spending the extra gas to get these fluffy donuts.“
“I don't usually eat donuts often but we buy donuts for the office since they are so close to the Vista/Carlsbad industrial business park. These are so well made that I had to post to let everyone know. They do such a great job. The dough is from scratch and you can tell from the first bite. Its worth the drive from anywhere in Vista or nearby. The prices are great too!“
“barista dexter was very kind and explained the different coffee flavors. i was not sure what to get and he assured me that if i didn't like it, i can switch it for something else. very good customer service and welcoming aesthetic place. the donuts look very good and they have nice greeting cards!“
“Yummy donuts!!! Skip the coffee though ;) We stopped in on a rainy, brisk day and grabbed some warm, freshly-made donuts after a walk on the beach....they were delicious! The donuts are the more dense, cake-like, type which is my favorite. The coffee was not up to par with what you'd expect from a donut shop, so that was a little disappointing but otherwise...I highly recommend it!“
“Went there 13 min before closing, but the owner was about to lock the door and had already put everything away. Needed a dozen donuts for my daughter's birthday! Was offered all remaining donuts at a major discount rather than leaving me empty handed. Whew! Thanks so much!“
“Great selection of pastries & donuts, was super excited when I found out they also had boba, the smoothies taste real and are made with real fruit. A lot of places don't use natural ingredients anymore, so this is refreshing. Definitely a great spot. & good location too.“
“Pricey but the unique flavors and clean ingredients make it worth it! Tried the box of the best 6 donuts for $25 and rated them the following:1. Love and salt2. Huckleberry3. Butter and salt4. Lemon pound5. Old fashion6. Apple fritterAll were soft, light and not too sweet (except the apple fritter, too sweet for me).Definitely recommend stopping by to grab some different flavors that you can’t get anywhere else! Excited for their little Italy location to open.“
“Owner is super sweet. Regulars were pouring in and he knew everyone on first name basis. $12 for a dozen ANY donut unlike other places that charge extra for the bars or jelly fill. $1.60 for dozen donut holes and he always throws in extra.Awesome selection & tasty AFFound my new donut spot. 10/10“
“Love this place! We live down the road and come in a couple times a week for their bacon egg and cheese croissant. It’s large, fluffy and crispy. Delicious! I’ve seen others mention cash only, but we always use Apple Pay with no problems. Like others have said, staff is friendly. Definitely recommend this spot!“
“Talk about really cute donuts! There are so many flavors to choose from and after choosing the 12-pack, we regretted not getting a 24-pack so we could try all 18 flavors. From a true donut perspective, these donuts were a bit more cakey, fluffy, and spongy compared to what I'd traditionally think of a donut. Overall, still really tasty and super fun for kids!“
“Definitely some of the best donuts I've had. Even later in the morning they still have a good selection. They're always quick here too. Not the greatest parking lot if you want to park close. Inside has standard breakfast cafe vibes, it's nothing special but the seats seem more tailored for sitting while you wait for them to heat your sandwich. It's all worth it for the amazing donuts.“
“My boys are so so sooooo happy Mochinut moved in closer to Escondido. We used to travel alll the way down to Poway to get our mochi fix. Ordering online is a sinch and it makes for a quick drive by dessert fix. The place is clean and they are open late so we will be coming back again very soon.I believe the flavors change but our favorite has been the cinnamon one. I am so thankful dessert places like these are moving in. Now I don't have to travel all the way down to San Diego.“
“Super Donuts is great! It is cash and venmo only and quite affordable! The pistachio lemon donut was so unique, fresh, delicious! Perfect balance of flavor which is hard to do with lemon flavored desserts! They also have standard donuts and a few speciality ones like this. The woman at the front was helpful and quick with her service.“
“I love this place! The donuts are unique and delicious and the portions and variety are perfect. I order regularly for catered seminars and they are always a hit. They also have great customer service and are always nice and reliable. Prices are reasonable too! Highly recommend!“
