“I've been coming to Mary's donuts since 2012 back at their old location in Santee. It's really great that they have branched out and have a store in Lakeside now.Parking is a little weird. They have a lot in the back but if you're lucky you can get a spot on the street I saw they have deli and breakfast lunch menus so I'll have to stop in and try them.Donut case is always impressive on what they offer but I usually stick through my usual order of a maple bar. I decided to get an apple, fritter and man are they ginormous! Honestly, the size of your face and they taste so good!The service is so quick I waited, probably less than a minute before I was helped by one of the employees. “This place is absolutely adorable. They’ve got a small selection of Hello Kitty items in the front right, hair stuff, small purses and charms with some stationary too.They’re most famous for their rolled ice cream, which they seem to create it on a cold metal surface laying the ice cream flat then with a tool, essentially carve it off that surface which creates multiple rolls and place them in a small cup. They’ve got; coffee, cookies n’ cream, banana and black sesame.Also their hot and cold drink selection is awesome we enjoyed the matcha and it was delicious. Prices are also reasonable too! “I have been going to Rose Donuts since the 1990's and they have never failed to impress. The donuts are always fresh. They are always perfection. It's a traditional donut place with traditional donuts of all types and they are probably the best in San Diego County. Be sure to get their apple fritter! They even make a smaller fritter since traditional apple fritters are so huge. Oh, and their pricing is still great at a time when prices are skyrocketing. Even better if you can pay cash. Enjoy! “Honestly, these are some of the nicest people I have ever met.We had an accident on the freeway and we reserve this hotel room and the state patrol gave us a ride over here to the hotel. It’s just next-door. “BIGGEST DONUT HOLES IN THE BUSINESS!! ok so I'm not from the area but while I was at the tire shop, decided to take a walk and I found a random donut shop next to the car wash detailers... I'm happy I found this Hidden Gem! Yo Almost don't notice it because of the car washing going on around it but right above were all the people are waiting for there cars you see in big letters DONUT TOUCH! (Bravo on the word play) When I walked it it was very clean ambiance and right in front sat a full selection of donuts they even had what looked like red velvet cakes. I order my usual a Buttermilk Glaze and a dozen Donut holes to eat on the road! When I grabbed the first hole and ate it first thing I noticed was the heavy Glaze oh man those girls when crazy with the glaze machine! Second thing was I get like when I ate the donut holes my moth was much fuller than normal, so a grabbed one out the bag and actually looked at it , and BAM it was huge! I thought I was trippin so I held it up to my shift gear, then went to put it in my mouth(pause) and realized I'm literally opening my most all the way just to eat a donut hole! Haha very impressive.
