If you are looking for really great beer, you need to come here. The beer at Backyard Brewery is the real deal. Belgian style triples, IPAs, English ales and Czech lagers are a few on their list. Definitely worth a visit!
Located in an industrial/commercial area but many great breweries are! Went at night and parking area was well lit and the signs made it clear we were in the right place. Cozy atmosphere but plenty of seats in the back plus a handful of seats at the bar. Brought our own food and tried a beer flight of IPA's and J's Carolina spicy beer. All were great! A West Coast IPA is hard to make stand out but they make a delicious, unique one. Nice smoky, earthy touch and took one to-go....read full review

Awesome small independent brewery in Escondido CA. It's definitely an unpretentious location that I love. I consider myself a IPA enthusiast and the Backyard Brewery's West coast IPA is one of my all time favorites. The owner, brewmaster is the bartender and is super friendly and can explain the ingredients of every beer on tap.
