“If I could, I'd rate food and service more than 5 stars. From the chips and salsa to the entrees and soup, everything was so tasty. The salsa was so fresh... we joked that we could drink it from a straw if it wasn't frowned upon. We got the chorizo and egg plate with flour tortillas and the carne asada plate with corn tortillas. While I enjoyed the flour over the corn tortillas, everything was delicious and flavorful! The rice wasn't dry and the refried beans had a nice texture. We took home an asada burrito and the albondigas. The burrito was delicious even after a few hours of being in the fridge. That tortilla, man... love it. The albondigas was comforting. The meatballs and broth were perfect. If I had any criticism on the albondigas, it was I wish they gave us more meatballs.I wish I got the gentleman's name of who greeted us and helped us. He was super friendly. Lovely man to chat with. Gave us enough privacy but also was helpful, interested, attentive, and grateful for us stopping by.The restaurant is small and probably easy to miss. It's attached to a liquor store and has bars on the window. It's a hole in the wall environment, but totally worth to go in. The seating area was clean and comfortable and they had two TVs on playing Mexican music and a Mexican variety show. The kitchen is in the middle of the room with a wall partition separating it from the eating area. Whatever they do to ventilate the food smells/smoke, it's pretty impressive. Also, paying with cash will save you some money, but paying with a card won't break the bank. This place is a gem. Please visit these nice people. It almost felt like going to my friend's mom's house.“

“This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in a Taqueria in a long time. The pork is super tender delicious The beans were delicious. It was fresh very different from Tracy or Stockton or even in Livermore. All that is the same, but This little place is darn good! my son agreed. my husband agrees hands-down this place is good ??. You could tell that they love their job because the food is delicious and we were excited to enjoy Mexican food for lunch that wasn’t over bearing with salt not greasy at all! Super fresh and tasty. That’s what they have here we are recommending Cancun restaurant in Manteca give it a try! ????????“

“Lori was so so sweet, she waited patiently for us up front to make up our minds about what we wanted. After ordering the food came out so quickly and was hot and delicious. I got a carne asada quesadilla and it was perfect, so was the salsa she gave us on the side. I would 100% be back here next time i'm in this weird little town.“

“Great food! Service is excellent, portions are huge, tacos are delicious, I can never just pick one type of meat so I always get a variety, carnitas, al pastor and asada, from the yellow tortillas to the well seasoned meat and the purple onions give it that nice flavor, can't forget about their aguas frescas, my to go to is pineapple. And now they even offer deals on tacos during the week! Check them out, they moved from their old location but still around, off highway 120. I'm from Stockton, where there's many taco trucks, but I still prefer to drive down to this one!“

“Dropped in with my husband and our two kids for the first time this evening. We were blown away with how friendly the staff was, how good the prices were and how big and tasty their meals were! Love having small businesses like these in our little town of Escalon! Will definitely be returning, and often!“
“I stopped by Mi Tierra yesterday for a late lunch/early dinner. The ambience is great, it's super cute in there. I have a lot of stomach sensitivities so my diet is quite strict. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and asked the waitress to make sure there was no tomatoes so I swapped the salsa for tomatillo salsa and left out the pico de gallo. I've had a lot of vegetarian burritos and normally they have the grilled fajita veggies in them and I'm really just not a fan. This was not that, honest to God it was the best vegetarian burrito I have had in the longest time, if not ever. And the agua de Horchata was legit. The ambience was nice and clean, the service was good, the food was great; definitely recommend and will come back.“

“I enjoy stopping at this taco truck when I'm passing through Farmington. I had four tacos: asada, pollo, pastor and carnitas. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but they taste good too. For $2.50 per taco it's reasonable. They are street taco size. With a Mexican coke it's a match. I should try their other fare that they offer sometime.“
