“Probably one of the best chicken that I’ve ever had. 100x better than wing stop or bww. Service is great and fast. I ate here 3 days in a row. The honey garlic is beyond finger licking good. Also they give complimentary pickle radish that is mouth watering. Amazing and delicious flavors.“
“First time trying Bonchon. I came right when they opened so there was no wait. The guy who took my to go order explained the different flavors. My husband wanted to order the combo half soy garlic, half spicy. Good thing the guy warned me that spicy is really spicy. So I ended up ordering a few spicy strips for my husband. For the combo, I ordered soy garlic and the new flavor (I forgot what it is called but it's less spicy). The chicken was crispy even after a ten minute drive home. My family thought the soy garlic was the best. I tasted the spicy chicken and it was super spicy for me. It left an aftertaste in my mouth for a while. Their kimchi and radish were alright. Nothing special. Overall, I would come back, but next time only order the wings. The drumstick meat was a bit tasteless after you eat the skin.“
“Their Naengmyeon stands out with an outstanding taste in both LA and OC. The service is commendable, earning them stars. The servers are knowledgeable, anticipating our needs before we even call them. While it may be pricey, the experience is undoubtedly worth it.“
“This restaurant was fantastic. I ordered the jjampong and it was genuinely one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The noodles were excellent and the broth was incredibly flavorful. The wait staff was very kind and helped by giving great recommendations. The Golbi beef was also very good.“
“Craving some good and authentic Korean food, I found my way back to Jin Cook and as usual, it did not let me down.ITEM'S ORDERED:Sweet Potato Cheese Curry KatsuSpicy Braised Beef Short RibGarlic SuYukMilitary SoupTASTE:Let me first mention that I'm half Korean to add some credibility to my review :) ;) I will say that the Kimchi here is probably my favorite out of all places. That is mainly because it has a slightly sweeter flavor and less sour than others that usually have that more pickled flavor. I was told that it's the owner's mothers recipe so that just makes it all the better. The Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib aka Galbi-jjim is a dish I've had before and is one of those flavors that just wants to make you keep on eating. The only thing that slows you down is how hot it is with it being in the stone pot. It's so savory, a little sweet and has a slight amount of heat. I will say that I do have a good tolerance for spicy food though. Besides the meat which is so tender, I really enjoy the pumpkin and rice cakes in the dish. Unless you are with 3 or more people, you'll most likely have leftovers.Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu is a unique variation that I don't think I've seen at other places. There's a subtly sweetness that goes well with the cheese, pork, and crunch. Be careful when you take your first bite, it comes out and stays very hot.The Military Soup is one of those really comforting soups that'll make you feel good if you're under the weather. It's actually pretty spicy so be warned. The pork belly that came had a real nice flavor that adds to the dish overall. It was my first time having the Garlic SuYuk and it's as tasty as it is to look at. The pork is cooked perfectly and the garlic paste that it comes with has so much savory flavor, with the right amount of salt. I could really see this garlic paste tasting good on so many other dishes in general. The chili paste is not really hot but provides a slight chili flavor adding to everything else.SERVICE:The service was exceptional. Getting all the warm Korean welcoming vibes at this place just adds to the comfort food feel. They were really friendly and attentive the whole time.LOCATION & PARKING:They are basically located in a shopping plaza with an Albertson's so there is lots of parking. The interior is very comfy and warm with its abundant wood use making for a welcoming ambiance. If you are craving some delicious Korean cuisine you should definitely check this place out.“
“I ordered the Garlic Edamame, Double Crunchy Roll, and Mango Tango. Absolutely everything was delicious. It’s a nice little mom and pop restaurant that you cannot pass up. This was probably one of the best sushi spots I’ve tried in a while!“
“I'm not a Korean chicken connoisseur, so I didnt know what to expect. Safe to say, I'm now a fan. Perfect crisp on the chicken and once you start munching, you can't stop. Service was great. They don't close the lids on to go orders when you pickup, as to keep them from not steaming in the carton and they remain CRUNCHY. Highly recommend. The only reason they don't have a line out the door is most likely the location. I invite all to pay a visit and support local eateries like this one.“
“If you know you know! The food is good! My husband and I ordered two bowls. We got a beef bulgogi bowl and a chicken bulgogi bowl. You can choose a bunch of toppings to cover your side. (Choose one: white rice, brown rice, lettuce) You can put all the toppings or a few. I put all the toppings except cheese and sour cream. I chose medium hot sauce. You can have the sauce drizzled on top or ask for it on the side. There were two workers. They were very nice and welcoming. The place is small. It was easy to find parking. See pictures and check out the menu.“
“1. The bibimbap and stew were comforting and filling! 2. The spot has casual-cozy vibes! 3. There are only indoor tables! 4. The staff were friendly and attentive! 5. Parking lot is small, but street parking is available as well! Note: There are separate restrooms for men and women! Photo: Oyster Bibimbap, Gochujang Stew, Side Dishes“
“Came on a weekday night for dinner, walked in with no wait. There were two to three other parties in the restaurant through the night. We had the bossam and short rib soup and both were spectacular. I've had bossam before and wasn't impressed but having it here, I'd definitely recommend. The soup was perfect as well: 3 ribs in there, large chunks or radish, and the clear noodles in a perfectly seasoned broth. The bossam came with two sides of purple rice and fermented soybean soup as well. The purple rice is the most unique one I've had in all my years of eating a K-town as it comes with a plethora and variety of beans in it. A deviation from the norm but not bad at all. We were just a party of two so there was loads of leftovers available for the meal the next day. The portions here are typically Korean so meant for a party of four or more I'd say. I had originally bookmarked this place to try the raw marinated crab and am looking forward to returning and exploring more of the menu... although that bossam will be so tempting to get again.“
“(Disclaimer, i do not know the difference between "authentic" korean food and "fast food" korean food) i've been going back and forth about this review whether or not this was a 4 or 5 star review. I went ahead with 5 stars because ultimately the flavor prevailed. i want you to imagine Panda Express or Chipotle but KBBQ. My suggestion is to actually have customers walk the line vs order at a kiosk and then wait for your number. Ultimately I feel like the wait will be similar and it's visually appealing to the customer knowing the last piece is just to pay and you'll enjoy your food. Prices were reasonable however you get more veggies vs. meat. The favor is ultimately top tier. I prefer my bulgogi to be with a slight char but this was authentic (i think) The banchan (not pictured) was fresh and so good! The spicy cucumber and fish cakes are my favorite! I can eat those with white rice and be done! This place needs all the flowers because it is unique in its own way and very good. Peeked in the back of house and saw what looked like quality ingredients. (based on videos i've seen on social media about korean cooking lol)“
“Our first time to do Karaoke and this place did not disappoint. It was nice and clean and had great size rooms with different themes. We had the room with the pole and my friend had a great time with it LOL! We were greeted by K, he was very helpful with all the information we needed. We were the first customers so we get to check out the other rooms. Even if it was just K at the front he was very nice and took great care of us, and got us everything we needed. He even danced with our friend for fun! Hahaha I like that the time is open for us to use the room and we were not rushed to leave. We were there for 3 hours and it was sooo fun! We brought our own food and drinks and it was extra $60. The price was reasonable and service was excellent and place was luxurious and clean! Will be back for sure!“
“It was just so delicious. The tteokbokki was delicious and very similar to the taste I had in Korea, and the sundae seemed to be the best among the ones I had in America. When eating sundae in the U.S., most of the time it was dry or cold and tasteless, but it was really delicious. I highly recommend it if you want to experience the taste of Korean snacks. The food court was also in Korean style, so the atmosphere was nice. I'm eating well.“
“This place is located in the bustling plaza of Bristol Food Court. The service was quite fast, as there was only two people working at the entire restaurant. I went here once before. The first time I ordered black bean noodles, and they were really tasty. Today, I ordered tteokbokki and it was sooooo good. Like maybe I was just hungry at the time, but it was really tasty and the rice cakes were just the right spicy level and chewy. It was so good I forgot to take a photo of it. The overall food court is busy and it might be hard to find a seat during lunch hour. Overall, this place is a really good Korean joint that is rare to find in Santa Ana.“
“My go-to tofu place. This restaurant has decent tofu soup. Many small dishes and good to refill. The store is clean and quiet that you feel comfortable sitting in without feeling a rush. They have free ice cream cone too. They will sing birthday song to you. Love it!!“
“I think overall it went over my expectations. Definitely getting your money's worth of experience. Most of the side dishes you get your own which is great if there are specific types of side dishes you get a lot with kbbq, and options are really great. Each of the meat orders comes smaller compared to what you usually get in all you can eat kbbq, which I see as a good thing as you can control more portions and less food waste. The food quality is what you'd expect, it's not gonna blow your mind but still really good for the price you are paying. Only complaint is that I wish there was more seating provided for wait, we went on Sunday 5pm for two people and waited in car for an hour.“
“Cousin recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Been to the other Jinsol gukbap with the raw crab banchan and not to compare but the gukbap from this one is waaaaay better. The soup was perfect to my standard and loved the banchan here. Probably my favorite Korean soup I've had in Buena Park and maybe of all time. I will definitely be back for my fix!!!“
“This place really doesn't look like much and if I didn't search it on yelp, I never would've found it but I'm glad I did. I had the galbi plate and the burger and was shocked with how good the burger was. The galbi was also delicious but I got the order to go and was a little bummed there was no sauce or anything in the box with the galbi. All in all I'd absolutely go back.“
“Best hot chicken samich I've had in a while. Crispy light breading, thick moist tender breast ?. Hot sauce was just right. Recommend going deluxe and combo price was a reasonable 11$. Complimentary soft serve was cherry on top. Highly recommend if you're in the area.“
“The servers r nice but the guy was meh. However the food is just so amazing it makes up for everything. The Banchan thick 10 day age samgyupsal and vibes are amazing!!! The line is super long so get there at a weird hour highly recommend!! Kimchi jjigae is so good and gogi melts in your mouth ?“
“I've visited Zip Korean bbq several times now, whether with my boyfriend or family, and each visit has been consistently great. Atmosphere is good and the service is excellent. The quality of the meats and food is always delicious. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great ayce spot.“
“I have NO problems with this place. The only issue is I eat so much until I'm literally like a stuffed sausage. ??? my favorite KBBQ place to go to. You won't be disappointed✌???????Parking: The place gets packed, get there when it opens. It fills fast. ✌???“
“I love to try new places. I will say the shopping area looks sketchy but the food here is amazing!!! I don't judge a place by where they are located and such!! But I decided to give it a try and man I don't have any complains. The girl who was on the register was sooo nice!! I feel like this place is such an underrated place and a hidden gem. Order 8 pc wings (Korean hot) 9/10 the sauce was on the side and would've like if it was on the wings but the sauce was not as spicy as I wish it was but it has a good sweet taste to it :))) Spicy pork 1000/10 it was soooooo good. I didn't even need teriyaki sauce. I ate it without and it was bomb Service 5/5 no complaints Overall a pretty good price for your buck!! Definitely would recommend“
“My children and I are visiting the area and we're brought to try this dessert spot and it hit the spot! The kids and I (who isn't a really big fan of dessert) enjoyed ourselves. We got the cookies n cream with a Nutella filled fish.“
“When people are lining up to get in, it's hard to guarantee the quality, when people are going to get tired of working like crazy from all the demand. BUT I must say, I can't complain with what I got. 붕어빵 was fresh, and the 팥 was nice and sweet. This totally made up for that mediocre dim sum a couple stalls down.“
“First time - I called in my order. A kind gentleman answered the phone. I informed him that I've never been there and he informed me what's in the CA plate.. I ended up ordering a CA plate, salmon & grilled shrimp veggies, side salmon and egg rolls. He informed me that it would be ready in 10 minutes. When I got there my order was ready. A small , clean local place with about 4 tables. Took a few pictures of the walls with their appetizing food.Healthy, delicious food and awesome customer service.Supporting local businesses. Will be back to try other items on their menu.“
“Great dining experience. The interior is large, and clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable. Plenty of menu selection varying from typical Chinese menu offerings; veggies, seafood, chicken, beef, etc. Menu is very easy to read. Excellent spot for Chinese/Korean dine-in experience. Definitely recommend!“
“Dakgalbi, tteokbokki, and pork cutlet are delicious!I think I will use it often!Add rice and mix the chicken ribs at the end.If you eat it with seaweed powder and cheese,It's really delicious!Pork cutlet meat is soft and seasoned. It's so perfect... I really recommend it.It's better than Beach Yoko...The thickness of the meat is just right.Anyway, give it a try!“
“Amazing flavor from the chicken and pork. Friendly service. Small parking lot. They had a news channel playing on a T.V.. Owner was super friendly and happy that I stopped by. Chicken was tender, and teriyaki sauce had a nice sweetness to it that cuts through the chicken and pork really well. Rice was cooked well. Green onion was crisp. If I'm in the area, I would stop by again.“
“I was yelping for KFC options and found this place by my house and decided to check it out. I placed a an order for 50 wings for a party and decided on soy garlic, kfc and snow cheese. I chose three but I believe they allow you to choose up to 5 flavors. It took about 15 minutes and the order was ready. Soy garlic and KFC are typical flavors that I normally see and have tried and they're pretty good here. I've never tried snow cheese and it didn't disappoint. It has a slightly sweet flavor and was my favorite. Overall tasty wings at good prices. I would definitely come back.“
“I went after 8pm, but there were no customers, so I was worried and ordered only kimchi stew. It was really refreshing and delicious along with the side dishes. I thought the other dishes would be delicious as well.I definitely have to go back and try other food.Highly recommended.“
“It was a little place off a side street we happened onto. It looked interesting so we gave it a shot. Guy there was not overly friendly. It is a take out place but there are a few chairs inside to wait for your order. Simple menu only dogs cook a few different ways. Not many drinks to chose from. We ordered 3 different ones can't remember what they were but they were pretty good, I would go back.Vegetarian options: Definitely not vegetarian.“
“they're open pretty late, really fresh and well made sushi... their spicy mayo is good, i ordered the philadelphia roll and salmon sake. decent price too. clean hygienic utensils, huge water bottle that’s nice and cold served in a metal cup. comes with a miso soup 5/5 will be coming back !“
“We frequent this place often. My favorite is The Spicy Beef clear noodle vegetable soup (Yuk Kae Jung) is very god here. Bibimbab is another very good dish. Their food all around is pretty good. Small mom and pop kind of place. Sometime we dine in and other times we order to go. Always good food and never had any issues of the years.“
“This place is so good.Food: the food selection is chef's kiss. The glass meat cuts are generous and the quality of the meats are very good. They have a good selection of side dishes but one thing I always look for is the steam egg...and they have it!Price: The price is unbeatable for the quality cuts that we get to eat. We paid $27.99/person for the A&B menu.Service: We arrived a little after they opened so there was no waiting time and the waiters were super attentive.Dessert: Their ice cream is so good. It's taste just like Chick-fil-A's ice cream.Con: the only cone is that their tongs and scissors could be replaced with newer ones. The scissor was very dull and couldn't cut the meat nicely. The tongs were stretched opened or not align so it was hard to get a good clamp on the meat.Overall, we still love it!“
“As we landed ANA(Santa Ana Airport), first thing we craved was the Korean food. I managed to use Google maps to search for nearby Korean food, but Soondae(Korean Sausage) caught my attention first. It really wasn’t only the review score, but the awareness level of this place from the locals. It’s conveniently located in H Mart (Korean Supermarket), but it’s well known for making its own Soondae and Jokbal. There are more than 3 options for the size offering and it will fit whether you visit as a solo or with big family.Soondae, not only was it fresh, but its Gan(Liver) was also very fresh! (Talk about being moisty instead of the usual ‘dry’ ones you come across)All the side dishes (Lettuce, Jalapeño, Garlics) were on points and the staff were readily available on spot to re-fill at any given time.I highly recommend for those who have love for Jokbal and Soondae, but also those who are seeking for a new Korean food/menu to try out.“
“This is a family favorite now. The chicken is always hot, well seasoned/sauced, and the fries are bomb. You need to try the spicy galbi chicken and the mala chicken. Or if you don't want heat, their classic chicken is so crisp and moist - an excellent product. And don't skip the sides. The fries have such good crisp and texture, the tteokbeoki is so chewy. We usually do take out, order it online, and the time estimates are always spot on so we have never had a problem with cold food or things sitting too long. Highly recommend this place.“
“First time there 2/8/24, a little wait but worth it. Food came out within minutes, I like the idea of pictures of food menu items. Just tell them your preferences and food will be out less than 10 mins. Korean restaurants always have sides side that are refillable. Great flavor and so delicious.“
“I dined in this past Friday and place was good. Mostly, the service and food was on point. I was exceptionally impressed with the service. The server that took care of us was very attentive. She took our order and checked up on us promptly. I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during my meal, and even then, she immediately got me a new pair of chopsticks. I believe that taste is most important for a restaurant, but service must be matched to the qualify of good to have a complete experience. This restaurant offered great food and service. The only thing i'd complain about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The utensils weren't very clean and had tiny debris on them (probably food particles that weren't washed out) and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant wasn't up to par with food and service.“
“Jay and Tom were super friendly and helped explain how to use the device because it was in Korean. It also helped that they had another paper in English. We asked for help with connecting bluetooth which Jay helped us through every step! The room prices were a bit on the higher end but definitely will be back! Friendly place with good vibes.“
“This place is tucked away beside the Rite Aid. I only thought to go here because I was looking for something nearby me. The combo meal deal is actually a really great price. I got an American style Corndog with half mozzarella and half sausage with ketchup and mustard. Then my side was dirty fries without hot Cheeto powder. Finally, I got a Fruit Punch Slush for my drink. The food was cooked to order and tasted good. For my own taste, as much as I love cheese, probably would just get all sausage next time. The "dirty fries" were fine. Not my favorite, but crispy, which is always good. The slush tasted really good actually. It is sweet, but I liked it. Service was great. Prices seem fair. Place is clean. Check it out!“
“No mames this is spicer than expected. Rice cakes are amazing but damn that’s no Korean chili sauce it’s legit Mexican spice level; just to start the “mild” level sauce was as spicy as a good agua chile sauce back in town. Amazing little place but be careful if you’re not a fan of “
“The cashier was so helpful and friendly!! The spicy chicken wasn’t actually spicy but it did have a tasty sauce. I did takeout and my order was ready in 15 minutes (so quick for two half chicken orders ). Loved the service I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving yummy fried chicken.“
“First time visit. Went with Korean friend. We had one of their set meals. Per friend, the food was more traditional than other Korean restaurants. It was good but I was not used to some of the flavors. The restaurant was very clean and decor was beautiful. Service was excellent though my friend did all the talking in Korean. With tip, total was -$180 for two and we did not have any alcohol.“
“For a low price Korean bowl, flame broiler is a good value. The person taking the order is always super nice. They have not messed up on my food once which is amazing. I order here a lot when I'm in a hurry. They also have food specials if you buy several bowls.Vegetarian options: Tofu, vegetables, rice“
“THAT FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Good price, sweetest owners ever! Gave us a bunch of extra things. My new go to spot!! Also incredible pre-pandemic style prices!!! Sitting there eating that delicious food was so peaceful and made my whole Wednesday HUGE PORTIONS!!!“
“We're from Chicago and was staying at a hotel nearby. We ordered pork bbq and bulgogi, both were excellent choices. It's great to have both available to order from the same store. My only wish is if they could add noodles to their menu like japchae or pancit.“
“It was the neon corn dog sign that got me! I'm honestly not a big mochi doughnut guy, but the family likes them. The Wife and Boy liked the churro and Nutella doughnuts and thought the matcha was ok. (Shout out to the staff, btw, who told us they were bringing out a fresh batch of matcha when we saw it was sold out.) Ok, so the corn dogs! I got the ramen combo (hot dog+cheese). Oh, it was so crunchy and good with the crushed ramen! And they use beef hotdogs, not the cheap stuff. The Boy tried the potato one, and he also loved it. The crunchy potato bits around it, so good. I think what makes the batter work so nicely is that the mochi consistency holds ramen or the potato (or whatever you choose) together very well. If you haven't tried it but were curious, I highly recommend it! The next day, I got the hazelnut iced coffee to get my morning started, also awesome!!“
“Food, service, atmosphere, everything was great. The owner, married couple who look like they are in late 50' or early 60's are so hip and stylish I had to comment on their outfits. Hahaha. It"s mom and pop shop but not the ordinary ones. Definitely one up.I love going here for Korean food but not the typical k-bbq.“
“So bomb!!! The food is so delicious and you don’t even have to drive to Garden Grove for it. They do get busy though so you might have to wait. I think it’s a great place with good portions and reasonable pricing. I’d love to eat here everyday.“
