“This place is so amazing and their pet friendly! So many different snacks from Asia! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which really helped in deciding a drink and some snacks. I just moved around here not too long ago and was looking for boba spot when I came across this one it's open pretty late and it was very much different from other boba shops I've been too. I really liked the idea of getting a token every time I purchase! The waffle was so yummy and you get an option to put ice cream I didn't this time but next time I for sure will and the drinks were absolutely delicious!“
“I would want to award this fantastic restaurant in the SF Bay region ten stars since the superior service makes me feel extremely warm, and this is the greatest spot to get real authentic Taiwanese cuisine in the East Bay!“
“I recently moved into the Fremont area and was pleasantly surprised when I found this boba spot so close to my home. the place is small and cozy. However the boba and snacks are spot on. The boba has a soft yet still chewy texture. You can taste the tea in every drink. The store offers online orders through toast which is convenient. Highly recommend if you are in the area for an unique boba place.“
“Tasty drinks. Their lemonade is really nice and not too sweet. Milk tea isn't overly bitter. I like their lids because you can reseal them by putting the plastic back in place. This is fine since I pickup from there, although for delivery I do prefer the plastic sealed tops you see from most places. They have a rewards program, its a good idea to sign up.“
“This place has the best boba tea ever in the Bay Area. I normally go for Taro Milk tea, they are just yum and perfect consistency. Even the staff is quite friendly. It's close to my house and I am going to be their regular customer in the years to come :)“
“A small location with a couple tables. It seems many students enjoy studying here despite the interior being very dark. You can't go wrong with their Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea. However, there's SO MANY FLAVORS to choose from - so definitely order something that fits your palate. Don't expect some artisanal craft milk tea when you come here. Expect old-school syrup and sugar-filled milk teas. Artifical flavors that give you a nostalgic feel. The boba is always perfectly chewy and the sago is good here (but it's pretty clumpy too).“
“Staffs were very friendly. I ordered a grass jelly with whole milk. They were able to customize it for me since I don’t drink tea. It was a FANTASTIC drink. This drink was very fragrant (not sure if it’s the grass jelly or brown sugar) and not too sweet. I recalled having a flavor like this in Taiwan long time ago. Definitely one of the best authentic Taiwanese tea place in the Bay Area. Highly recommended!“
“This is one of my favorite tea/boba places. They have a great variety of drinks that you don't see at many other places. It's a small place with no indoor seating. You order on a tablet and the staff make everything in a timely manner. I tried the egg pancake for the first time and it was delicious. I loved that it is shaped like a boba drink! My go to is the mango pomelo sago because it is the perfect combo of sweet and tart. I definitely recommend anything from here though.“
“Great and attentive service. Quality tea and great selection. I was making a boba run for 10 other people. The lady manning the shop took down the order extremely precisely and quickly, and she made the drinks with incredible speed. All by herself! She even had a huge box to container everything (I thought I would need to make several trips to my car with the standard 4 drink carrier). But from the attention to the correct straw sizes and number to the overall experience, this place was wonderful--ESPECIALLY at this price point. Practically unmatched in this day and age. Thank you!! But yeah, cash or Venmo only may be a drawback, but it's only a minor thing to consider. :)“
“Don't be fool by the outlook and the location. This place is a gem hidden inside the supermarket. I tried the hot rose tieguanyin latte. Decent tea flavor and the drink was piping hot. I got it with 25% sweetness which I might bump up to 50% next time since it could've been better if it's just a bit more sweet. The service was super fast as I was the only customer then. The price of the drink is unbeatable compared to other boba places. Will definitely come back and try their other drinks next time!“
“We've been going here for 3 years now! Family’s favorites are black tea latte with taro and boba, always with extra taro, strawberry matcha slush with matcha ice cream and passion fruit watermelon with lychee jelly drink! Then fried octopus, sesame balls and takoyaki for their snacks! Staff is always pleasant especially Monica and Sophia! Aesthetic place too!“
“Talk about boba heaven! Got to try Mr. Sun for the first time over the Christmas break and I'm a fan. This place handcrafts their own boba and has so many flavors to choose from that you won't find at other boba shops! I never had such fresh and chewy homemade boba before, but I loved it!*Mango Green Tea*Grapefruit Mojito Green Tea*Mango Green Tea w/ Crystal Ball & Mango Boba*Mr. Sun Special w/ Strawberry Boba*Honey Jasmine Green Tea w/ Brown Sugar Boba*Mango Smoothie*Mr. Sun Mango w/ Mango Boba & Strawberry Boba“
“It doesnt look like something awesome from the outside, but it is beautiful inside and the location has its pros and cons. Peacful and clean. I ordered three drinks, thai milk tea, lychee tea, and regular milk tea. All drinks were authentic and full of flavor. Sweentness was perfect. We also ordered a red bean mochi which was perfectly cooked and tasty. The visual was gorgeous. Service was decent. Cant wait to come again.“
“If you have a good palate you’ll like this place more than a lot of other boba places. The flavors are more fresh and natural than places that use a lot of artificial flavors and cheap mix-ins.Parking: Big lotKid-friendliness: SureWheelchair accessibility: Enough room in the lobby“
“Best boba place in Bay Area! I have been coming here since they opened (I think back in 2017?)! The owner is super nice and provides amazing service! The drinks are absolutely delicious!! You will miss out if you don’t give them a try!!“
“All other places I went to weren’t to my liking because it tasted like expired milk. I was scared it’d be the same here… however Tapioca Express exceeded my expectations. The Thai Milk Tea I ordered was perfect sweetness and the Tapioca pearls were firm. I didn’t tip the first time, but I will definitely come again and make sure to tip.“
“Rose Tea Lounge is my go to boba place in Fremont and perhaps even the Bay Area at this point. Their tie guan yin oolong is delicious with brown sugar boba and 0% sugar. The caffeine is really strong so be aware that you may not sleep well if you drink it too late in the day!!“
