“Family just moved into the neighborhood recently and was stoked to have another authentic Mexican joint close to us. We used to live close to Pepe’s on the other side of the freeway.
I saw they had menudo and had to get some. Perfect weather for menudo and it hit the spot.
My brother in law got a burrito and quesadilla with shredded chicken which he didn’t really care for since the juicy chicken made his burrito leak the whole time.
My husband got the flauta combo with beef and loved it. And he also got an asada burrito but the flauta plate filled him up so we took it home for enjoyment later. In my experience this place was really good and the portions are good. We’re coming back very soon to try more of their menu 💜“

“We stumbled upon Riveras after completion of a swim meet. Not being from this area (we are from Edmonton Canada) we decided to take a chance. So glad we did. 2 hungry teenage boys with us we filled up on various tacos and chips and guacamole. Everything was beyond delicious and filling. I have been craving fish tacos since we hit the border. I was not disappointed! So yummy. Service was fast and friendly and price was great. Definitely make your way to Riveras Fresh Tacos. We be heading there again before we head back north of the border :)“

“I really like Taco Tuesdays so I eat tacos almost every Tuesday. I have tried tacos from quite a few taco places ranging from Orange County to San Diego over the years. When it comes to tacos, I prefer the traditional Mexican-style with meat, onions, cilantro, and salsa piled high on a corn tortilla over the Americanized versions loaded with lettuce, cheese, and other toppings.Even though I am not Mexican and have never actually been to Mexico to authentically experience tacos, I still pride myself on knowing what good, flavorful tacos taste like.Ponchos Tacos is located in a shopping mall in an industrial complex so it's not directly accessible from the main road (State College Blvd) resulting in fewer visitors due to the location in a less crowded shopping mall. When I visited, I was the only customer. Based on the location, it seemed like a place focused more on lunch than dinner business.The interior atmosphere was nothing fancy, very much a common street restaurant vibe focused on takeout. However, Ponchos Tacos' carne asada tacos were the most delicious I've had in the past few years. The prices are also cheap - Taco Tuesdays are $1.75 per taco. But the taco flavor is unmatched. The beans were also tasty. However, the rice was too salty for my taste.Overall, if you are in search of a delicious taco in the East Fullerton area, I highly recommend Ponchos Tacos. And when you pick up your order, don't forget to hit the salsa bar next to the counter to load up your tacos with some extra flavor!“

““Wow” Monday I went to restaurant and pre-ordered 20 meals for my guests who were going to be celebrated by daughters 2 year birthday. Mayra was great, friendly & professional but there was a misunderstanding on the date. Which of course I feel terrible about! But they accommodated my order for the correct date! Everyone enjoyed the food. Especially the bass fish with vegetables and rice plate! Fancy for 12.00. Large portions too!“

My understanding is that this restaurant is under new ownership. I met the new owner, his name is Carlos, and I also met his sister Lily they are both very nice people. “Glad to see this place is still open. I don't know how it is anymore but 17 years ago when I was in high school we used to turn the parking lot of this place into an after party. Literally 100's of people drinking and eating super fries in the parking lot from 12-3 a.m.They've never had the most premium Mexican food. It's fast food. It's greasy and probably not that fresh but it gets the job done when you're cooked and need a greasy burrito to balance you out. I'm 35 years old now. Grown up with kids of my own. Every once in a while I'll drive by this place and remember different simpler times. I'm glad this place is still standing considering a lot of businesses in this particular complex don't make it. At this point Molcasalsa is a local land mark for an entire generation of kids from Fullerton and La Habra. Cheers to you Molcasalsa salsa with your greasy ass hangover food.“

“Does Del Taco got a remodel this past year and let me tell you, it is really nice. The only downfall is the drive-thru but that is more of the parking lot issue and not really Del Tacos fault. Food here is consistent with any other Del Taco you would go to. The only reason the food here did not get five stars is because I ordered the party pack and my bean and cheese burritos were not really hot. That was a bit of a bummer biting into a burrito and getting very lukewarm beans. I asked for well done fries and they were delicious :)“

The food is typical of what you find at any of those facilities. The only concern that I have is the outside eating area. Tables needed cleaning, and the patio needed a steam cleaning. Normally I forgo using the drive-thru at most fast food chains, due to potential for them to mess up the food order without you The Customer being able to check it properly to make sure everything is as you ordered it, but here at this TB location they have gotten consistency down to a nice rhythm. The food is well quality-controlled, has been the same good flavor and quantity several times from each visit I got to-go, and it was exactly as I expected. Will definitely be back for more“
