“Nice purple rice combination with home sick Vietnamese yogurt drink. Rich and creamy. We enjoyed it a lot. Service guy was also kind to offer ice cream samples. Taste home made and not too sweet. Will come back to try ice cream and other drinks!“
“I've been coming to Da Vien Coffee for over a year now. When I say I want Vietnamese coffee, THIS is what I mean. Their cold foams are flavorful and thick. This is my #1 favorite coffee shop in the OC. They specialize in Vietnamese coffee, and they also serve basic coffee, food, and desserts. I have yet to try their food & desserts; only drinks. I've been to both of their locations in Westminster and Garden Grove. Parking: Free parking. Somewhat easy to find on weekdays but more difficult on the weekends. Ambiance/Environment: On weekdays, I notice there is a consistent flow of customers. While on the weekends, they are usually busier. They have a modern, studious, and somewhat spacious environment with indoor & outdoor seating. Service: From my experience, the cashier is always kind and knowledgeable! Baristas are quick and efficient. Throughput is usually under 3 minutes. Drinks: 1) Black Sesame Latte - Phin drip coffee shot with black sesame foam. I really enjoyed the black sesame foam; it's pretty light. Even though it's shots of espresso, this drink is still strong and will keep you awake. 10/10 2) Matcha Foam Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped with matcha cold foam & espresso powder. As someone who doesn't prefer matcha (don't come for me lol), this drink is perfect for you. The matcha foam isn't too overpowering. You get an equal amount of flavors from the coffee and foam. 10/10 3) Egg Coffee - THIS is my favorite drink! Vietnamese coffee topped with egg foam & cocoa powder. Da Vien actually put me onto egg cold foam. I was sus at first, but omg .. tastes like heaven! 1000/10 4) Da Vien Coffee - Vietnamese coffee topped with macchiato foam & cocoa powder. This is my second favorite drink! If you're not sure what to get and want to try something basic, this drink is the safest way to go. The macchiato foam is delicious and pairs well with the coffee. 10/10 5) Cloudy Ube - Phin drip coffee shot and Ube foam. This is a lighter taste of Ube compared to the Ube Coffee. You get an equal amount of flavors from the Ube and espresso shots. 9/10 6) Peach Tea - Green peach tea with peach slices. Such a refreshing drink! It tastes exactly like how it sounds. 10/10 7) Salted Coffee - Light and creamy coffee topped with salted foam. I believe this drink contains espresso shots over milk. The foam has a good amount of sweet & salt; not too salty. This is another safe drink to go with if you want something basic. 9/10 8) Ube Coffee - Coconut Purple Yam coffee. It's basically Vietnamese coffee topped with Ube foam. If you love Ube, this is the drink for you! The Ube foam is strong and pairs well with the coffee flavor. 10/10 9) Caramel Sprinkle Latte (seasonal) - Phin drip coffee shot with caramel and topped with salted foam. This is a Xmas 2023 drink. Not my favorite drink. The flavors didn't work well together. I felt the caramel syrup tasted weird with the espresso shots. 6.5/10 Pricing: Prices are $$ average. I'd say it's worth the price because their coffee is bomb af. I highly recommend joining their rewards. You receive points, coupons via text, and birthday treats. In the Westminster location, you'd input your phone number through the iPad. In the Garden Grove location, make sure to tell your cashier your phone number after ordering.“
“If you are looking to find a place with the yommiest Vietnamese Egg Coffee, look no further. I have been coming here off the recommendation of a friend and it is the best egg coffee. I have tried Da Vien, and while it is good, I think their egg is too foamy for me. I like Airoma's because the egg is super rich and dense, almost like a creme brulee but in liquid form. There's always students either studying or people meeting up for a coffee here. The person at the cashier register is always super nice and answers any question you have. I have come here to study a couple times and it's nice because it's not too loud where you have to use headphones to focus and tune out the noise.“
“Great place to study and good food/drinks. The hot chocolate was superb and the even have a cute little loft upstairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access, no automatic door buttons for bathroom/entry. But the side door is wide open and the bathroom is huge.“
“We have passed by this place for years, but only recently we went in--& we are so happy that we did! The gentleman is kind & helpful. He recommended some delicious coffee flavors for us to try. We also bought condensed milk & a Vietnamese drip coffee maker here. Best way to make strong coffee! “Parking: Parking is either a hit or miss. There’s free street parking. Careful parking in some street spots as they have restricted times.Ambiance/Environment: You’ll notice they are always busy. Constant customers walking in. It’s very spacious inside with enough seating for large groups, doubles, and singles.Service: Don’t be intimidated by the long line. Their throughput is quick and efficient! We ordered two drinks and waited under 3 minutes. Baristas are very knowledgeable about their drinks. What made this a unique experience for us was their reversed operations. The usual coffee operation is ordering with the cashier and paying at the register prior to retrieving your order from the barista. At Phin Smith, you actually place your order with the barista at the bar, try out your drink first, and if you’re satisfied with your order, then you pay at the register in the end. If you’re not satisfied with your order, let the barista know so they can remake your order until you are satisfied. Genius!Drinks:1) Seoul Latte (seasonal) - Made up of three layers. The bottom layer is your choice of milk, the middle layer is the Phin dripped coffee, and the top layer is house made foam. So delicious! Not too sweet at all! It is definitely a taste of Korea. 8/102) Peanut Butter Coffee - I heard this was one of their popular drinks, so I had to try this for myself. I looove peanut butter, and I love coffee. Why not get the best of both worlds? The peanut butter wasn’t too overpowering; not too sweet either. Tasted well with their Phin dripped coffee. 8/10Pricing: Prices are $$ average and fair. We ordered two large drinks, and the total came out to $13.05 after taxes.“

“We walked in and discovered a warm, inviting and knowledgeable barista who guided us to the most delicious and unique, very large breakfast sandwich. Creme brûlée coffee is divine, the presentation unexpected. The outside of the building does not represent what delights you will find inside. “You know how it feels when you have that perfect pancake, or the butter is just melting over every part because it's piping hot, and the smell is just intoxicating, and you pour the syrup over the top and it sucks up the syrup and you get that first bite in this absolutely wonderful, and the second bite is absolutely perfect, and the third bite is absolutely terrific?Come to the omelette house.I haven't even mentioned the omelette yet. The chunks of meat inside of that omelette were so robust that I will be judging every omelette that I eat going forward against what I had today. The flavor was perfect, and the home fries were seasoned amazingly, which surprised me because most places expect you to add salt and pepper on to a already cooling pile of potatoes and peppers. This place seasons their food before they even put it in to cook, and you could taste it.The people are so nice, and the food comes out so quickly that you don't have time to dream about what it might taste like. Next time I come down here, I'll be coming here again. They found a fan in me.“
“Hi! I'm a regular at juice station. I love going here with friends and family. The workers are very sweet and when I call over the phone to place my order they are super friendly. My order is always ready to go and comes out super fast! Their drinks are super fresh and yummy! I love their açaí bowls. If you haven't been here, definitely give this a try!!“
“I came here after visiting another ginko katsu in diamond bar because it was so good when I had it there. I was a little disappointed with the bento boxes, they weren't as good. the other location came with more side dishes+ pickled veggies. while it's probably really good standalone, i was kind of disappointed that it wasn't up to the same level as the other location :( however the atmosphere and staff is perfect!!“
“One thing you have to try here is the Kem Bo or Smashed Avocado with Durian Gelato & Nuts. This is seriously the most addicting dessert. My mom accidentally stumbled into this place with a friend and brought me back a Kem Bo. We're both hooked and we've been going back ever since. I normally don't crave desserts but this one is the exception. I've had vietnamese smashed avocado desserts at other places but this one is one of the best I've ever had. The quality of the durian gelato is fantastic and the nuts complement the dessert well. There is smashed avocado and little cubes of it and it's the perfect mix of both textures. My mom, dad, and aunt all loved it and I can't wait to show more people.“
“I've been coming to Almond Haus throughout the years and love this spot! I just started coming back more frequently for their Almond Milk tea It's the same consistent taste every time I've ordered it.I want to take the time to shoutout Duyen! Today was my first time having her be my cashier. Duyen made sure to take the time to show that she was genuinely excited to be serving these drinks to the customers So thankful to have run into her this time around. She made the experience so much better by just being interactive and engaging with customers even if it's just for a moment. “Parking: 8/10. It's in a busy plaza so parking can be crowded. However, it's on the left side of the plaza (when entering) that's usually more vacant. Drinks: this is the go to place for all variations of Rau ma drinks! They used to have a delicious durian smoothie but it's not available anymore. Aside from their smoothies and rau ma, their other drinks are okay. Ambiance: workers are nice and I love that you can order online. There are a good amount of seatings.“

Everyone commented on how good it tasted. I saw on other photos some folks got the mochi donuts, but hey! It IS a surprise bag so you get what they give you. “A tiny little restaurant but food was surprisingly very good.Ordered their xoi man today, sticky rice with chinese sausage, fried eggs, dry shrimp, shredded pork roll, shredded dry pork, and quail eggs.Amazingly good. Sticky rice was done perfectly and not overcooked; and they give plenty of protein toppings.A bit out of my way but I will definitely be back again soon.Also got a package of chicken lemongrass jerky, which I have yet to try. Hopefully it will also be as yummy.“
“Got their Lavender Milk Tea with Crystal boba, and it was good! This was my first time going there, and one of the workers was very sweet and welcoming. Introduced me with all drinks, and I guess I wanted to try something new. I'd say this is going to be my favorite spots to drink since everything they make is FRESH. I can definitely taste that lavender taste, and I asked to be 50% sweet. It's still sweet, although it's worth it. Would definitely come back here again!“
“I saw the sign from Magnolia Street! I stopped in for a: *polvorone cookie...DELICIOUS! It paired well with my latte I got elsewhere. *mocha tres leche cake slice...YUM! The smell of fresh baked goods immediately welcomes you! The woman behind the counter was so nice and helpful. I felt like I was a friend entering her bakery. I would totally visit again and tell my family and friends to buy their baked goods. They sell pizza too. I will have to try that next time. It's a small little store front. It's in a shopping center with a CVS, nail salon, and Goodwill Store. There is plenty of parking. I went at 3:30pm on a Thursday.“

“One of my favorite places to stop in Garden Grove. I love that they have variations of sugarcane coconut. Like if I wanted a basic on I could go to cococane, however they make flavored cococane drinks here. I really enjoyed their mango jasmine flavor and their sugarcane boba. Its extremely clean and the staff is nice.“

“I was around the area and was recommended to this by a local and MMMMM this place was good. I picked up 2 of each, egg and ham bread, pork floss bread, and hot dog bread, and ham and cheese bread. I stopped by around 930 in the morning and the bread was so warm and freshly baked! All of them were delicious although their sausage bread is not as good as PB. Overall, awesome quick breakfast option if you're in a pinch. It's in the boiling crab plaza, plenty of parking, nice and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again next time!“
“This is a Korean boba tea and cafe with a large seating area extension called orange book club. They have several Korean food items and snacks as well as your typical Asian boba cafe stuff. Many young people come here to study or listen to music or watch videos. The atmosphere and decor is quite cute and inviting. However the seats are not so comfortable so that you don’t stay there all day. There is plenty of parking on the parking lot.“

“We got the large tea set for a little over $50 (choice of tea with 4 desserts). I personally didn’t really like the tea (mix of Pina colada and green tea - tasted sour) or any of the desserts (we got the Vietnamese coffee, tiramisu cup, matcha strawberry, and tropical cheesecake). The tropical cheesecake was the one that was the most edible. It had a tart flavor and was light, but didn’t really taste like cheesecake. The Vietnamese coffee and matcha strawberry desserts had a weird texture and weren’t very tasty. The tiramisu cup was ok. The ambiance is super pretty, but the desserts were pretty meh“
“I recommend it 100%, I and my family stopped by this place and we ordered green chilaquiles. You can order them with meat of your choice or alone with scrambled egg, cream and cheese. The horchata water was also delicious. The waiters were very attentive and helpful.“
“I love this place, great food and service. They have WiFi, but it does get packed. They’re open late which is also a plus. I would’ve given 5 stars, however the one thing that I do hate is hearing the kitchen cooks music on blast. It’s very hard to focus when he’s blasting rap all day. Please ask them to wear headphones or lower the music. I had headphones on and could still hear their music over mine. This honestly happens every time I’m here, to the point where I lose focus and leave.“

I never get oat milk with my matcha so I can't speak for the flavor combo of their matcha + oat milk. “This review is only for their coffee. They've become my weekly ritual for their Vietnamese coffee and specialty coffee like durian puree coffee! The coffee is fragrant and slightly bold. If you're with a friend, the value is great at buy 2 get 1 free. It's unfortunate they're located next to the door to QT Plaza where the smokers are, but just order to-go and you're good! They're friendly to you if you're friendly to them as well!“

“This is place is one of my favorite tastea locations. I know tastea locations try to keep the taste consistent from one location to the next, but everytime I order my favorite drink, this location does it best. It wasn't until earlier this year that I started trying the tiger milk tea. If you like milk tea, the tiger milk tea is like an elevated version. The tea is sweet just how I like it, adorn with their brown sugar syrup, and layers of creme brulee pudding. It's heaven. I usually get the drink in the 32oz and ask for extra ice because it makes the drink extra cold (im weird like that). This place always gets the ice level right when I ask for extra ice. This drink in the 32oz with boba will set you back at over $9 but its worth every sip.“

“I have never been to Paris Baguette but it seems like everyone I know loves it, so I had to give it a shot! Upln entering the store I noticded it was the same concept as 85 degrees bakery. The inside is very nice and seems like a good place to hang out with friends. You get to pick what pastries you want and you take them to the register and check out. However when we went it seemed like they were lacking options and some shelves were empty, no biggie. So I walked towards to cashier section to check out their cakes. What I got: - Coffee Cake: this one grabbed my attention and I am very happy I tried it! It was one of the best cakes I've ever had! The chocolate/ coffee / caramel goodness was perfection and the cake was so spongey. The only flaw this cake had was the wafers at the top. They were very soggy which was a let down, I think the cake must've been sitting in the fridge for too long. Overall it was a good experience but it's just that wafer that kind of bugged me. I will come back!“

“Been seeing so many fellow Yelpers checking in to this place and it's always the same people so I have been curious about this place for many months. I can see why they are regulars. It was busy but the line went fairly fast and it was holiday season so it's expected. I got something off their holiday menu and it was one of the best drinks i've had. They are also super helpful in finding the right drink for you and they are really nice about it, not rushing you at all. I will definitely be back in the future. Just wish there were more locations closer to me but the drive isn't bad. I can only go on the weekends due to my schedule though.“
