It's not sweet doesn't taste like sugar or agave and doesn't taste overly acidic bitter. portions are huge I got medium looks like a large, real deal Brazilian acai, ordered on Uber , wish it was closer to where I live, peanut butter was tasty , looks like they used an entire banana not stingy on toppings , didn't get to go into restaurant but for an açaí delivery order definitely top notch“

“Come here all the time. Food portions are very generous and the coffee here is great. A bit on the strong side at times but you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. The breakfast burrito, crepe, French Toast combo, and of course their açaí bowls are my favorites. They make a pretty hearty breakfast sandwich as well.Because their portions are big, don’t come here expecting to pick up fast food. The service is not slow. These people work hard to get your food orders ready accurately but wait time for your meal could be anywhere from 10-18 minutes. But when I tell you it’s worth the wait, trust me. “I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“Easily one of the best açaí bowl spots in west la. the main reason is the price and the diverse selection of toppings, base flavors, granola, etc. I like how you can customize your bowl as much as you want and you pay the same price - I usually get the smallest bowl for $9. They also have unique toppings like different chia puddings and matcha powder which sets them apart from other acai bowl places. The service is incredible every time - very fast and friendly. I'm grateful it's in my neighborhood so I can go as often as I do! Very cute and comfortable ambiance. I usually take it to go and it travels well but if I had time I would eat it there! “This place is right on the corner and I was able to park right to the left of it with the metered parking. I came mid week and in the middle of the day since it was a nice warm day. I got the ritual acai bowl with the original mix. It was a perfect combo and size to keep me going until dinner. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter was the perfect amount for the whole bowl. The service was stupendous and I appreciated that he explained the different toppings they offered. The ambiance is chill and I definitely want to come back.“

Their indoor seating has a cool minimal aesthetic. They also have some outdoor seating but it's been full literally every time I've been here. Worth stopping, but I wouldn't go out of your way.“
“Love this location, A Brazilian skater named Felipe Gustavo owns this location, he has a bunch of skate boards hanging on the wall and typically has some skating events playing on the TV’s .Acai republic is a great place to get a delicious snack or meal. Love the bowls and their fresh squeezed Oj is also extremely recommended.“

We come here at least twice a week and the quality is consistently top notch. The fruit selection is always fresh and the topping section is clean and organized. You can get a small for $9.95 or a large for $11.95. The small is enough to fill me up after all of the toppings. You start by choosing your base - I opt for either a mixture of açaí and coconut or mango, but there are so many other options too! This is something I haven't seen at other açaí bowl places. Also, they have a wide selection of granola, fruit, and toppings like mochi, coconut, peanut butter, almond butter, honey, etc. Service is consistently solid. The person kept a positive and happy attitude throughout the time I was there, which made the ambiance much better. The "vibe" of the place is also pretty nice. “I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Both items were very filling too, and I can't wait to come back again with my friends. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a long time since we are huge fans of Açaí in all forms. Upon entering, you are presented with a simple menu and the process is seamless. You decide whether you want a bowl or a shake. I went with an Açaí shake - chose oats, Goji berries, peanut butter (don't get this option as it overpowers the Açaí), and other options. It was really good - the perfect amount of thickness and consistency. The bowl on the other hand, was where this place shines. They do not skimp you on anything!
