Well, I came down from Vegas for the day and as I was getting ready to head back I made sure to stop by the store in Buena Park to pick up some goodies as I was coming from Huntington Beach.I picked up a selection of savory and sweet items to try out. As I am half Cuban I remember eating the same items as my grandmother made and sure enough the items I picked out had spot on flavor. “This is a small cafe in a medical plaza. There are minimal seating but they do provide some additional seating in front of the pharmacy inside the building! We arrived a little after if opened and there were already many people ahead of us! We tried the chocolate strawberry banana waffle as well as their egg deluxe croissant. They were fairly priced! They were both delicious though I wish I had asked them for a crispier waffle. Their service was just as expected for a small cafe making everything to order. We waited about 10-15 minutes. We would definitely come back to try their bagel deluxe!“
“Last minute search for a breakfast/brunch type spot and found Marin Cafe. It's located in an area off of Rosmead that shares a small parking lot with Zapien's Salsa Grill. It is a small lot but there's parking on the other side. I went while it was raining in the morning around 9 so it was pretty empty. The cafe is a small shop with 3 four-seater tables so not good for huge groups. But the decor was really cute and cozy. A mix of cafe and small bakery. Love the painted walls with the cake and bakery items painted on. There was a large display case of various bakery good from conchas, to croissants, to cakes and cake slices. Everything looked so good. Brisa (I hope I didn't spell her name incorrectly, apologies!) was our barista and she was lovely. Very friendly and let us take our time, she answered my bf's questions about the food. We chatted here and there and then placed our orders with her. She kept us updated on our food as they made the wrong sandwich for me and needed to remake it which was no problem and appreciated. The food was delicious! We ordered a concha, with an Abuelita hot latte, a mocha hot latte, breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. Recommend the Abuelita hot latte for sure, perfect on a rainy cold day. The chocolatey spice from the Abuelita was so good with the espresso, the mocha was great as well great blend of chocolate and coffee. Now the breakfast sandwich was bomb, presentation and taste were great. Eggs were hot and fluffy, bacon crispy, with ham, and refreshing tomato avocado and lettuce with a honey mustard type sauce. It also came with a side of potato salad, pickles and banana peppers. The potato salad is EXACTLY how I like it, not mayonnaise-y and sweet. Brekfast burrito was nice and filling too, bf said he'd definitely add bacon next time as mine was crispy in my sandwich hash browns were crispy and the creamy lime cilantro sauce was so good with it. I also ordered a slice of the mocha tres leches cake...so good not overly sweet and mocha wasn't too strong. The cake was overly saturated with milk which I would've like but it had the right amount of moistness so not to make it soggy. All in all definitely reccomend this little gem of a cafe. Owners and staff are all friendly and the food and drinknwere fantastic. Definitely coming back for more cake!“

It was a weekend, the staff was very busy and I felt pressured to order quickly. But the staff stepped away to help make drinks and others’ orders. They are very fast paced. I ended up ordering Gavin’s sandwich, it was a nice breakfast option. I called and waited for someone to come back to the register to be able to take my order and it was just what I wanted. Glad I took my time to decide. I really appreciate the quality, very fresh and delicious. The latte was good as well! Although there was nice ambient music I couldn’t help but feel a little stressed out by the ordering system. That day they were really yelling out numbers loudly and repetitively for each customer to come pick up their orders from the front and not just once or twice but as many times as needed until the person went to go claim their order. “Was in the Buena Park area and wanted to study/work at a cafe. I went to both Stereoscope and Smoking Tiger, and both places were completely packed. People were literally sharking for a place to sit. I remembered that I had passed by this place before, so I decided to head here and see if there was anywhere to sit, and thank goodness there was! While there is ample seating available, the place is definitely busy as well. There is a mix of people who are there to study, others who are there to catch up/hang out with friends, and those who are just there to grab a coffee to go.I ordered the New London, which is one of their signature drinks. After looking at the menu on my phone, I narrowed down my choice to either the New London or the Spanish latte and then actually asked the worker which one he thought was better and he suggested the New London, so I went with it. The drink was pretty good. A bit expensive, as it was over $6, but I get why they charge more if it's specialty coffee and people might stay for some time to use their space to study/do work.Other things I like about this place as a study/work spot include the fact that there are some seats where outlets are available, which is really hard to find these days. Wifi is also available as well, and I had no issues with the connection. Restroom is clean, too.The only things that I feel are cons about this place is the fact that the seating/tables towards the back of the shop are impractical/uncomfortable and that there is only one tiny menu at the counter, so if you are waiting in line you wouldn't be able to see it until it is your turn to actually order. Best to look up the menu on your phone beforehand if you don't want to feel rushed.“

The coffee is generally good as I tried the vanilla Bean Flavored Latte. There is somehow a secret menu of the affogato named as the Summer's Macchiato! The espresso with the vanilla ice-cream scroop! That's great in taste and cheap in price. Plenty of parking here and have the curbside pickup option if using the App. Might try for the good items next time.“
“Tiny but mighty! This place is a gem with a rather large and diverse menu. I came here for the first time last Saturday (with a rather large group- thank you & sorry to the staff) after living here my entire life. The women running it were very friendly and the food was delicious and came out quick. Great place to grab a bite while waiting for a train or just in general. It was rainy that day but the patio would be great on a warm day to have a beer and some food. We tried the egg salad sandwich, fries, quesadilla and their version of animal fries. There were a few other tries too but I didn't taste them. All in all great place“

“301 Cafe is Placentia's oldest restaurant and still serves the same excellent, authentic Mexican dishes that late founder Maggie had on the menu for decades. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is that of a vintage bar and grill from the 1930s-1940s era. There is a long bar on one side of the restaurant and tables and booths on the opposite side. It's a family friendly place so no hesitations about bringing the kids along.“

Was surprised to see several other customers were also in line at that time, and also placed online orders. We ordered 3 mini sized halo halos, which was less than $25 before tip. I loved that my sister was able to customize her order online without the hassle of talking to someone, as she likes hers PLAIN, no boba, no jackfruit, no nata. Just cereal, ice cream and flan. I also learned that you can choose to have either vanilla or ube ice cream! The upside down halo halo was delicious as always, and is a great refreshing treat on a warm sunny day. Location was easy to find, in a busy shopping center near Jollibee!
