“Loved the food, we found this place accidentally thinking it was sushi but it was a very good mistake! Very delicious but definitely dress for a special occasion. We loved all The courses and the desserts were absolutely delicious! At first we thought we wouldn't get full but by the end of dinner we were more than satisfied!”
“Hidden gem for Thai food. Chicken, shrimp, and pork is on point with its flavors. The beef’s texture is a miss, and could be better. Always good to see that it is busy with customers bc the food speaks for itself. The open kitchen shows how clean the restaurant is.”
“All kinds of foods from Akasaka sushi restaurant are always Hugh! Big! more n more foods coming!!! Particularly the Hugh sizes for hand rolls, Big volume for sashimi, even the lunch combinations.... Fish's are so freshly and smell good!! Tasty and delicious are guaranteed.... One of the best sushi shop in the area!! “The most identical same taste from Osaka, Japan. I still remember the taste of the creamy & nutty Pork Cutlet Curry. It remember me on that trip. The trip is 14 days. Everyday in dinner I order this food. I just craving it. Wonderful!!! You all should try it. But missing one portion? The Japanese Pickled Ginger. Hope the owner can make this. I mark this restaurant as the most so far the best Pork Cutlet Curry I were ever tasted.”
“I asked if they could put together some meat and cheese for a charcuterie and the gentlemen that cut it up for us was amazing. He showed my daughter how to set up the meats and she knocked it out of the park. Thank you guys so much.”
“It is a pricey pizza for the gigantic one they have around $60 with 4 toppings but it's huge and can also be cut into squares. But for the price it's DELICIOUS!! hacienda pizza co is expensive and the taste doesn't come to close to Worlds Best Pizza!”
“I need to correct my previous review, they were closed for 3 days during two weeks for vacation, but they are back to their normal hours... please try this place.. it is the best and freshest sushi in the area!!”
“Highly recommend Happy Morning. Met a couple of friends here for a nice family style dinner. The service was very quick and staff was very kind and welcoming. The place is tucked in a corner of the Vons plaza by Rite Aid, on the other end of the plaza to other eateries, popping yolk, four seas, boiling point. The food was nicely portioned, perfect for family style and everything was fresh and very delicious. The decor was modern and very clean. 5 adults and 2 toddlers left very full and satisfied with left overs to boot. We tried a variety of veggie, noodle soup, fried rice, half chicken and everything tasted great. Growing up in San Gabriel/alhambra this place reminded me of the spots I grew up eating at, now I have a great food spot not far from the house. Can't wait to come back!”
“Went to the store on gale and 7th st. Hardly any line when I pulled up. Service was great. Personal was excellent. Always making sure we had everything I needed for the order. #1 customer service. I usually go to store #7 on amar ave. but the lines were down amar and overflowed onto hacienda Blvd. Too long!Vegetarian options: A few varieties to choose from for vegan.Didn't know they started selling chicken sandwiches???????Dietary restrictions: They make it the way you want, no questions!Parking: Being on a corner lot next to the 60 freeway offramp for 7th and gake ave. There is parking on side and behind store. Ample seating that is covered for shade rain or shine. Akso there are a few parking slots at the end of drive thru by the exit.Kid-friendliness: They do have a few things to ask for kids meals. Always ask for the coloring packages for young children. Not the teenagers.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking available. Just be careful when you go to order at window there is a pitch if your in a wheelchair so remember to set your brake. Also drive thrust are on both sides of the order window with regular traffic behind you when ordering.”
“Their boba quality is good, and their services and prices are good also. We got 4 drinks (3 boba drinks and 1 smoothie) for under $30. They also give a good amount of boba in the drinks.”
“ok been driving pass this spot for the past 5 yrs. finally stopped and got some grub. moms and pops got the cocido and it was bomb. I know that's true because they are picky eaters. I had the burrito de asada and man loved the taste. definitely coming back agaim”
“Easy to park (lunchtime) Nice seating, comfortable chairs and very clean Ginger rating: 5/5 Not watery and a bit dry (which I like) ginger is flavorful and there is a bit of a snap Iced Green tea: 1/5 No flavor Hand rolls: Eel - great! The eel is cut generously and is very meaty! Tastes incredible. Normally there isn't much eel or it can be fatty. Three amigos The spice is a bit smoky to me. Not sure how I felt about that first bite, but the heat did grow on me. My mouth has a nice heat. Good sized scallops. The spicy part does cover up the flavors of the seafood. Spicy Salmon Salmon is my go-to raw fish.. but today I went spicy. It was very overwhelming! A bit too much sesame oil that it drowns out the taste of the actual fish. Probably go back to regular salmon hand roll again. Very nice servers. Overall it was a descent sushi place for lunch. Will bring co workers next time.”
“If you're looking for authentic Cantonese/Food off the beaten path (on the west side of HH) without having to compete with all the traffic (between Azusa Road and Nogales), check out Cocoin. It's run by a really cool couple. I'd say their food is definitely a strong 4 but their service and how nice they are bumps it up to a 5. There's plenty of seating inside. It's not huge but if you need tables for large parties of 8 to 10, they have those as well as smaller tables for parties of 4 or 6. There's plenty of parking outside. I've visited numerous times over the last few years and I'd say everything we've eaten so far from beef chow fun to hainan chicken hovers around 4 stars. Their hainan chicken is bone-in unlike Cluck 2 Go. Their portion size like their pork chop dishes (i.e ging do pai gwut) is a really good value (especially now a days) and their wok hay for their stir fries and chow fun is good. I particularly enjoy their herbal drinks which can vary from day to day.”
“Legends hot chicken is the best hot chicken I've had. I've been eating here for years now the thighs are mind blowing. So flavourful and moist just a straight mouthwatering experience. I recommend getting medium or lower I got the second spiciest flavor once and it was tear wrenching. Either way if the food is to spicy they have phenomenal shaved ice. It melts in your mouth immediately and has great flavor.”
“The restaurant has a very good decoration and unique taste. It is suitable for all kinds of people, including the elderly and children, and is especially suitable for family gatherings.”
