“I was going through food photos and I legit took a photo of my Wienerschnitzel meal of a chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries because I was so thankful to eat this gloriously messy fast food. So here I am. Confessing that this is what makes me human.“
“Another outpost of the beloved local chain, kept alive for decades by Dueling cousins. (Kaspar's vs Caspar's), which holds true to the original style and quality of their founders. Sometimes, a Caspar's (Kaspar's) dog, a diet coke, and a bag of chips, are all I need for relief from hard day, or even a gourmet-weary palate. And as usual, the staff are really nice. This is old School California. Get it while you still can!“
“Don't like their burgers, but the staff were friendly and their drinks machine is amazing. Try the pomagranate Aha with Ginger Ale. 3/5 Aha and the rest ginger ale... you're welcome! All food is expensive, but 5 guys is ridiculous.“
“I've only had takeout, but it's always been good. Enough options for the whole family to find something they like. I always get the Chicago Dog and usually save half for later. Very big portions!DO NOT SKIP DESSERT. I order it knowing i will have it for breakfast and a snack the next day. The apple bread pudding is one of the best things I have ever tasted in my life, and that's not hyperbole. The sweet and salty flavors come together with soft and crunchy textures and become something so delicious. I'd eat it every day!“
“Neighborhood Staple ✊? This Spot, has been "My Spot" throughout my teen yrs, my 1st,2nd,&3rd daughters and soon to be my grandchildren will get introduced ? I just got Re-Accquainted with this food a few days ago by running there (just) before closing... 3 minutes until ⌚ Ordered my food, thanked everybody in inside & left Em' a tip. That "tip" was and Still Worth It!!! ✨?????“
“As a Bay Area native, Kaspers is a must have experience. The cheese dogs and Orange Fizz are old school and bring back so many memories. With McDonald's and other fast food chains raising their prices, having a cheese dog a soda and chips is even less than a Micky D's meal! The woman who always work behind the counters remind you of your grandma. They're super sweet and take pride in their work.“
“My son and I came here two times during our visit to catch some baseball in San Fran and Oakland. Don't let the area distract you. It is heavy industrial and is fairly safe and the food here is exceptional and some of the best tacos I have ever had. For 10 to 12 bucks a person you walk out of here very full and can't complain a bit.“
“This was my first time in many years. As someone said in the other Wienerschnitzel post, I do wait until coupons are available. Also there is no more location in Milpitas. Thanks to the landlord to put in a Starbucks instead.I like that this location is cleaner than the other one. Also friendly workers.Like it, when I am left to enjoy it all.“
“Omgoodness I have been coming to Oakland for 17 years every other weekend and have been wanting to try this place out. So good well well worth your money. I got my husband and I both single cheeseburgers my husband had the works on his just the lettuce tomato onion He's very picky he bit into his hamburger and said now this is a burger. 30 minutes after we tried our burgers we sent our friends over there. And they said how come we've never stopped here before. This is a must have burger. It's not no frozen patties either this was a great big burger“
“Can always count on the ladies at Kasper's to be straight and to the point. What do you want, how do you want it, here you Go! Then a smile and "have a great day!" Other customers there are friendly and diverse. True Oakland staple. I'll be sad when they close.Parking: Lots of parking surrounding building.“
“This is a small hot dog shop in which the people who work there are elderly and wonderful! Sometimes you do have to wait a little to get your dogs but they are worth it! Plus the ladies are very pleasant. It's as if your grandma is serving you the food. :)“
“I must confess, this place has become quite an addiction for me! The donuts here have a unique texture that's somewhat chewier than your typical donut, yet in the most delightful way. They offer an impressive variety, and it's exciting to see their menu evolve with new additions frequently. Every visit brings the anticipation of trying something novel, and so far, I've never been let down. We often indulge in a mixed selection of six to enjoy at home. The only slight drawback? The prices are a tad high. While this hasn't deterred us from returning, it does mean we can't visit as often as we'd like. Despite that, it's a solid four stars from me!“
“been coming here since thr late 70s some of the women have been working here for a ver long time. all the newer employees at both Hayward locations are always very friendly and the dog ate always on point. Rarely go to the Kaspers. it cant hold a candle to Caspers. always go with th CASPERSWheelchair accessibility: two large tables set aside for wheelchair access and a ramp to the door“
