Mujiri
“First time trying this location BUT it felt very familiar since the interior was similar to the Oakland location. The nigiri combo also started at $25 for 7 pieces with the options to pick more expensive fish. Scallops and toro are available for no additional cost here as well. Honestly, a great addition to the area. Highly recommend their kurodai, aka black snapper, because they sear it very well.”
“A bright airy space with wonderful, friendly staff. I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. it was delicious, toasted perfectly, with just the right amount of cream cheeseif in this area again, I’ll be back for more”
“We ordered a variety of their recommended dishes including a noodle soup and goat dish. My favorite is still their chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. The tikka masala is a bit thicker in consistency and their naan is slightly sweet, which adds a nice twist.”
“Love this place! Try to come once a week to get their lemon chicken and chili beef! Toothpick lamb is good too if you like more fatty pieces of meat, if not opt with the ”

“I only ordered takeout from here, and those small encounters with staff have been pleasant. They are friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious. I appreciate the pickled vegetables they add, which brings brightness to a sometimes heavy meal (I tend to go for something especially cheesy). Highly recommend!”
“Probably some of the best food in Hayward, the service is amazing, the service is professional and the drink ? are delicious.I would call the restaurant a hole in the wall but, the place is bigger than it looks. Offers great ambience with its unique layout. The Clam Chowder is one of the best in East Bay hands down. This is a must try spot worth the drive, you won't regret it.”
“Stopped for an early dinner and the service was excellent. Our server, Andy, took the time to explain some items on the menu. Started off with the calamari which went great with the peppers and dipping sauce. For dinner we went with the filet mignon and the park chop which were both fantastic. The pork chop being especially amazing! We were told they brine the chop for 5 days so it’s full of flavor and moist. The creamy polenta was a perfect match. We also got the Mexican bread pudding which was also good but I felt could have used a little more of the ‘Mexican’ flavoring. But the cool creamy ice cream and warm bread were spot on temperature wise. The ambiance was very nice with some division between the bar crowd and the diners. We will definitely come back.Parking: Huge free parking garage nearby as well as free parking in the back of the restaurant.”

“The service was amazing! The food was excellent. The ambiance was great with their new decor upgrades. Can’t recommend this place enough. I am going to come every time I need a curry fix!”

“Good small Taqueria. Excellent staff. Food good. Had Tacobuero and Chille Relleno. Staff has limited English, and I have limited Español but the mix went fine.”
“My grandson and I decided to stop by here to grab a bite and they did not disappoint. I had the lobster roll with fries and salad it was very fresh and delicious! My grandson had Cajun garlic chicken with garlic bread. He rated his plate a 10…. Customer service 10… we will definitely come back????????”

“My daughter and I walked into such a great bakery. The ambiance was amazing and the customer service was great. We met the owner and couldn’t believe how young he was. Tried the burnt almond cupcake and ordered a cake for the bridal shower. Overall wonderful experience and I would highly recommend.”
“The best quesadillas I have eaten in the USA and even better than the ones I have tried in Mexico. The service is excellent and the food is unmatched, spectacular.”
“The food and options were very good but the kiosks were out and the video board was glitchy. It was a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.Dietary restrictions: They have halal and vegetarian options.”
“Wanted to give this local coffee shop a try. Located on a very busy street, it was nice that they had a small parking lot located next door. Once inside, the coffee shop is pretty small and gives off homey vibes. It took sometime for them to get to us but you can tell the coffee is made with care. Ordered the Mexican hot chocolate mocha. 10/10. It wasn't too sweet or too coffee tasting. It was a perfect balance. I will be coming back to get it again!”

“Cozy and comfy atmosphere amazing Cherry Danish and vanilla latte. The breakfast panini is also another favorite of mine. Love this place and definitely recommend visiting!”
“I love this place! The guy always behind the counter is super friendly & helpful. And his wife definitely knows how to bake. I’ve never had anything but yummy here. Especially the cream puffs! They also bake their own Persian bread, which is incredibly hard to find in the East Bay. Highly recommend don’t listen to crazy bitter customers =)”
“Tasty and delicious drinks at a bit of a premium price usually. Come from 1:30-3pm Mon-Thurs for BOGO happy hour, though! It's a popular place so the wait can sometimes be a couple of minutes with just 2-3 workers behind the counter. My go-tos are the Panda Milk Tea (I love my pleasantly chewy jellies and boba pearls!) and/or the Star Jelly Grapefruit Green Tea. I like to get everything with half sugar and half ice. :) I've never tried their creme brulee waffles before, but it smells absolutely heavenly whenever someone else orders one, haha.Chairs and tables have been well-used now and a bit dented and stained. More of a take-to-go place for sure!Luckily, there's plenty of free parking in this spacious shopping lot. :)”
“Absolutely the best bbq Ive ever had in my life. Period.I come from a region known for tri tip and I was blown away by how good this one is and how it easily beat what Ive known to be really good tri tip.I hate potato salad, but the potato salad here changed my mind. I love it.You can taste all the seasoning in all the food here. Mind blowing.I will be making this my go-to spot for myself, family, and friends for years to come.Fyi this is a typical bbq smokehouse, so make sure you come early as everything runs out and the place closes when all is out (as you do when the food is this good). Also amazing owner and family, made me feel like I was hanging out with friends at the cookout.”

Fijian BBQ
“Best food ever. I come here as often as I can and bring a new person so they can get addicted as well . Fish BOMB, lamb BOMB, short ribs BOMB. not super greasy either. Perfect stuff you can tell it's high quality”
Outdoor Dining
“This place is in an old strip mall shopping center. It used be a salvadorian restaurant before and they were ok. This place is much better. The food tastes pretty good . The burritos are huge and the tacos are regular sized tortillas( not street taco sized) and they were loaded with meat. Customer service was good. There's really not much seating her but it's OK I always take it to go. They have good salsas and sliced cucumbers. They also have pickled onions with habeneros (which are delicious) and slice pickled jalapeños. I think this will be my new go to spot for Mexican food.Parking: Lots of parking here”
“The best mexican food I've ever had and the nicest customer service. As someone who eats vegetarian try their veggie burrito. Just a bunch of dad's working here trying to feed people like a family. Highly recommend their churros too and horchata. My fiance also loves their chicken tacos and the chicken super burrito.Vegetarian options: Veggie burrito, tacos, churros, quesdillas”
“Literally one of the best pizza places I’ve ever tried. Wide variety of selection of food, not just pizza. They have pastas, salads, fries, wings, etc. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. Couldn’t recommend it more. Met the owner my first time there, and whenever I’m in the area it’s a must for me to get food, whether I’m dining in or taking it to go.”
“Probably one of the cleanest and nicest interiors of any Mexican restaurant I've been to. There's plenty of parking on the street and the parking lot attached to it has several spots as well. The indoors has quite a bit of seating and the service and food are unbelievable. I called in my order and the pick up process was as smooth as can be. We were so hungry we didn't even take pics! We ordered a super shrimp burrito wet and it definitely lived up to the name. I will say, being from New Orleans, I've never found anywhere that has large jumbo quality shrimp like in the south. I can't knock them for it but it did seem the burrito was heavy on all the other toppings and the shrimp was very small and relatively scarce. Overall the burrito was amazing, but I am still holding out for a place that has large jumbo sized shrimp rather than the smaller ones in the Bay Area. The other order was a Carne Asada burrito wet, and from what I heard it was delicious and was rated a 7/10. I'm glad I came across this place and I definitely plan to try them again in the future. Give them a shot!”
“I love this place!! But then I might be kinda bias since my Uncle John hosts an open mic night there. That and they serve some of the best micro beers around. One of the few places I know where I can get Pliny the Elder on tap. They also have live music every night.”
“Really great food, and of the Korean chicken places I have explored around the Hayward area really captures pretty authentic KFC flavors in both sauces this establishment has. The soy garlic has that nice bit of added flavor and the Korean spicy sauce is sweet and closer to a Thai chili with something like an added gochujang influence. They both have a pretty solid crunch. Also the bulgogi kimbap is really great, with that perfect marinated bulgogi flavor on big cuts of kimbap. I like the radish they serve on the side it tastes much like BHC type of radish, syrupy and sweet almost like 7up or an equivalent was used to soak it. The service is really friendly, nice folks working here. I like this place a lot, thanks for the good food!”
“I saw the carne asada pizza on DoorDash and it sounded uniquely different so I wanted to try it out. Omg it did not disappoint! It was so unbelievably so good and satisfying! It’s like eating a taco in a pizza form. I would definitely order this for a party in the future.”
“Edson is always so polite and attentive to his customers! I always order to go and he is always on top of to go orders! Makes my life easier as i am always in a rush!”
“The tacos are fire, burrito is amazing. Best i've ever had anywhere. Service is quick and fast and the workers there very polite and nice. Outside scenery is awesome, they have their own seating area if you wanna order sit and eat and enjoy. Nothing about this place disappoints. 10/10 would come again a thousand times”
“Very yummy boba place! We loved what we ordered. I tried a macaron and a rice krispy treat and both were very tasty! My husband ordered a silky strawberry boba and I ordered a guava sunset type flavor. We both preferred the silky one! Very delicious! We loved the honey boba! Would definitely return if in the area. There is no tables to sit at it so you have to take it to go. Parking is easy to find as there is a free parking lot adjacent to the building.Parking: Easy to find free Parking lot next to buildingKid-friendliness: Kids would love this type of drink, but there is no seating inside”

“What a GEM! And a hidden one at that.Celebrated Thanksgiving a bit early with #ThankYouThursday and decided to check out pot pie paradise after seeing the great reviews on Yelp. I'm not normally a pot pie type of person, but with the cold weather, it was definitely the way to go.Pot Pie Paradise is nestled in an industrial part of Hayward so it's a bit of a drive through back roads to get there. They've got a decent parking lot and when I stopped by after lunch time, it wasn't too busy. They have a really helpful menu that shows all the options they have for pies, sandwiches, and other lunch choices. It's also updated to show which pies they're sold out of. I wanted to try the bulgogi beef but unfortunately they were sold out that day. Instead, I went for the Thai chicken curry. The Thai chicken curry pot pie ($10) had noodles, green beans, chicken, and carrots in it. It was delicious! I don't usually have noodles with thai chicken curry but it worked here. It's a pretty good portion for lunch and can maybe even be shared with two people. Though for me, I ended up just having the rest later for dinner. The service was great and the staff was very helpful. I loved reading the newspaper articles they have posted around the shop as I waited. They've got lots of seating inside if you prefer to dine in but I opted to take it to-go.Such a great local business! I'll definitely be back to try other pot pie options.”
“I love Nick the Greek, this location is newer and very clean - it's also right across from Chabot and next to a boba spot which means lots of foot traffic sometimes. I highly recommend coming here because they never fail to pack the bowls with so much food, the service is also great as they're kind and friendly! If you're a newcomer, I recommend getting the combo beef/lamb bowl and maybe get some fries or hummus with pita on the side! It's a very filling meal as it comes with rice and many vegetables in the bowl - which I love! I'm really getting a good amount of food for the price. Parking is ample, there is a lot of seating and it is perfect to bring large groups. Highly recommend coming here!”
“Was in the neighborhood & got hungry. Was heading 2 Sonic's & Seen Amy's grill & decided 2 give it a try. I ordered a breakfast sausage sandwich & blueberry waffles. I just finished the food now & it was great! ? would def recommend & will be back again! Thank you! #HazyJavi on all music apps!”
“The loaded Tri-Tip was absolutely tender and great. Came during busy lunch time frame but was made to feel like 1 of the family. Will definitely recommend this location as a great stop”
“Great Thai in the East bay! I have a go-to delivery Thai place closer to my house but I wanted to give a new place a try. Chai Thai has a great menu, from appetizers to curries to noddles. I ordered Pad Thai with pork, side of fried eggs and an order or chive cakes (gui chai). The food arrived ready to eat and all was delicious. The Pad Thai had great flavor. I love when you get a nice portion of each of the ingredients; meat to tofu to eggs to green onion to sprouts. Each bite had everything. Can't wait to order again from Chai Thai!”

“My husband and I spent our birthday dinner here in the Victorian house basement of this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. We ordered the chicken entree and the steak. We split the salad, had wine and a hot fudge sundae for dessert. It was delicious, wine was fabulous and the restaurant is cozy and quiet. Would come again!”
“Everything about this restaurant is SO good. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff. It was a really experience to be here and my partner and I will definitely come back. I highly recommend this place if you love good food ?”

“One of my favorite places to eat I have been here many times with my family. My family says that I am obsessed with this food from here. I think it's true, but I also think that you should also try this food because it's really good I think it's one of the best places in the bay area for this kind of food. I think it's great.”

“if you're looking for a good chinese food place this is perfect, great service, great vibe the server is always making sure we are good the bad reviews must be super old i was very impressed i recommend this spot to everyone who looking for some fire chinese food ! i showed my parents this place and now they go by themself without me lol.”

“My favorite restaurant in Hayward! So good and such nice staff. Food is always delicious and they are super fast! The prices are great and you get a great portion. I recommend it to everyone!”
“Thank you Britney for a wonderful dining experience, making the choice for famous Dave's instead of Applebees was the right choice. We were very satisfied with everyone. See you ”
“Service was terrific. It was fairly quiet for Saturday lunch, and the perfect place for sit down meal with 3 generations of family. The building is old, and it was reminiscent of my favorite childhood Chinese restaurant in Belmont, Hong Kong Restaurant (aka Hong Kong House of Feast). Great River is the only restaurant I've visited since that makes an amazing Twice Cooked Pork. As mentioned by others, the Hot and Sour Soup is delicious, as was their Mongolian Beef. Pot Stickers were good, I like them a bit more pan-fried but that's me. BBQ pork fried rice was delicious, but I wanted it to be just a bit more eggy. The family loved their Walnut Prawns, but that's never a dish I've enjoyed so can't speak first-hand! I look forward to trying the foil-wrapped chicken recommended by another Yelper!! Price and Portions were well-worth it.”
“Came here with some friends right before their happy hour ended but Gina was so nice and decided to honor it for us anyhow! She also brought us soooo many bonchons (note you do have to order an entree for bonchons) We ordered a lot of food which did take some time to trickle out but we understand as Gina seems to be the only server that night. Korean pancake - 4.5/5 I loved this one cause it was thick and very crispy. My friend did say she prefers the pancake at Sisters House tho because it's thinner there Tofu soup - 3.5/5 it was a lil underwhelming and not salty enough and I feel it was missing a little depth of flavor. My friend and I both prefer the tofu soup at Sisters House BBQ Pork Sizzling Platter - wasn't very well charred. I don't usually get sizzling platters but the ones at Sisters House is better The fried chicken - 4.5/5 very good! I liked the crispiness of the chicken and inside was juicy. You do have to pay extra $2 for flavoring or for it to be crispy so keep that in mind. We did dip this into our tteokbokki/sausage sauce which Gina recommended Tteokbokki/sausage skewers - 3/5 I thought it was just okay for the price of what it was lol. I don't love the sausage but the tteokbokki did have a nice lil crisp to it on the outside but with that familiar chew once you get to the center”
“We love ordering the Honey Walnut Prawns party platter alongside the Fried Rice combination party size.It feeds a good amount of people and our guests really enjoy it as well.”
“We went to celebrate my niece's birthday, and her baby, the super friendly waitresses sang the mañanitas to her, and it was something very nice. God bless them.”
“I came here for lunch for 2 and it was great! All the fish was really fresh and tasty. The service was fast, though maybe because I was 1 of 4 parties there that weekday. My wife just wanted to order a bunch of lion king rolls, but said that something tasted not quite like her favorite lion king rolls, but other than that, we thought it was all great!”
“No frills restaurant with friendly staff. We arrive right at opening so we expected it to take some time for them to set up. Ordered the triple combo and Food was hot and fresh. Thank ”
“After we ordered within 5 to 10 minutes all 3 were ready. The nice lady put soup on our mini cup. That was a good customer service, but the wonton soup did not taste good at all. Next time I won't order that. Combination Fried Rice was good and not oily. The fried rice here is better than Asian Delight, Yummy Restaurant & Little Namking. Also their honey walnut prawns is very tasty, soft and has the sweet sauce on it. It's perfectly cooked and not hard. So far they have the best walnut shrimp out of all the Asian restaurants I went to. Little namking walnut prawns is very hard and it was so hard that we couldn't even eat it and it didn't had any flavors to it. Also combination fried rice had a decent portion wish they put more and walnut shrimp had 11 pieces only. Great experience here today and my family that moved out of Hayward use to visit this restaurant a lot. The wings is good here but salty.”
“Kinda run down place but the food is amazing and the staff iss super nice and kind. The fried plantains and pupusas are absolutely delicious!Vegetarian options: The cheese and loroco pupusas! The platoons con frejoles and crema!”
“Literally just burning gas looking for a place to eat, before I noticed this East Bay eats sign. I go in and sift through the menus of DIFFERENT kitchens. Yes different kitchens. I come upon Sacred Pig, a BBQ spot. Low and behold the food was good. I ordered a 3 meat combo, chicken, ribs, and pork belly. Sides were mac&cheese, and potatoe salad. The ribs were in my opinion cooked perfectly. The pork belly delicious. The potato salad was a hit. An what can I say about that yard bird, off the grill so yum yum. Definitely made it into my top 5 BBQ spots. Now I have to buy an energy drink because I'm losing this 1v2 against Itis, and Sandman.”

Naked Fish
“I was craving sushi so I came to naked fish. I ordered two rolls, a philadelphia roll (you know a familiar favorite, it was excellent) and a Jackson roll (super duper delicious). They were both so good and fresh! I had to order a third which was the iron Man roll. Excellent excellent excellent. Service is spectacular. Super nice people, super chill atmosphere. Nice contemporary art. feels like a homie place. I will be back soon to try out the kitchen foods!”
“My family ordered 4 small trays and 4 large trays for a reception of 40 people. The food was excellent and flavorful, presentation was great. There was plenty left over for everyone to take home a plate or 2. The owner Eddie was helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend and use their offerings again.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“food was great and tasted amazing had a great portion and the add on flavor were outstanding to my meal. the restaurant was well decorated and clean. the staff was very friendly and the music was great. very nice place to come to .”
“Great food breakfast food dinner food lunch I love this place you will tooParking: Couple of handicap spots plenty of parking come on down I highly recommend Black Bear Diner if you haven't been to one before you will like love it”
“When me and my went inside the tables were not clean, my sister ask the lady can someone clean the table, she said that the workers are all busy, so we left, I'll never go there again”
“Very quiet, very peaceful, very fresh and delicious food, definitely no nonsense, and definitely no foolish actions, and behavior,, tolerated and/or accepted, either.I like that.???”
“Order the #29 Grilled Sourdough Swiss. For some odd reason this specific location makes it best. The bread is toasted correctly, unlike the other locations nearby. The sandwich includes two eggs, bacon, American & Swiss cheese, ham, and sourdough bread toasted to perfection. This, a coffee, and a tiny brick of deep fried potato truly hits the spot.”
“I generally rate McDonald's as 5-stars because you know what to expect a McDonald's always delivers. Not saying it's great food or awesome service. My chief complaint about this particular McDonalds is that it is not all that conveniently located.”
“Really great eating experience. We got a variety of the dim sum options on the menu as well as some noodles and meat dishes. I liked that the restaurant offered both so that you could get a little bit of everything from your dining experience. I was really impressed with their buns, especially the steamed yolk bun which was honestly incredible, and their chicken feet were huge, well spiced, and delicious. The service was really great and prompt. The place has a bar too which actually is such a cool idea to get some dim sum and a drink lol. Will be back.”
“Thank you Britney for a wonderful dining experience, making the choice for famous Dave's instead of Applebees was the right choice. We were very satisfied with everyone. See you ”
“Food was great and service was great. Never felt like we needed to ask for anything, the waitresses refilled our banchan when we were low or our ASAP. Plenty of parking as well.Kid-friendliness: The waitress kept our daughter in mind by giving her a small bowl of rice on the house and would playfully ask questions about/to her.”
Takeout Restaurants
“My husband recommended this place, and it was amazing. Literally the best churros that I have ever had. We went to him on Tuesday at 12pm, and his Text number works. +1 (510) 472-4895”
“everything is absolutely perfect, to the drinks, to the people, and to the environment. People here are so lovely, especially this one lady who is always in a good mood. My fav drink is probably the banana shake. GO HERE!!!”
“The best ice cream in Hayward! We tried so many different flavors! They all tasted so good! You will not be disappointed with any flavors! The Mangonada was the best I’ve ever had.Their green smoothie, their banana water , their Horchata and their paletas were all so good as well!10 stars for service! What an amazing business owner! He took such good care of our family and friends while we were there! We can’t wait to go back!”
“I came across this place while I was door dashing. The menu was unique and the sandwiches sounded good. I got the Tom & Jerry on a Dutch Crunch roll. It came exactly how I ordered it and tasted amazing. There is plenty of sauce on it which I love. The bread was nice and soft too! I wish there was one closer to my house. I'd probably eat here more often. Definitely gonna order again.”
“been coming here since thr late 70s some of the women have been working here for a ver long time. all the newer employees at both Hayward locations are always very friendly and the dog ate always on point. Rarely go to the Kaspers. it cant hold a candle to Caspers. always go with th CASPERSWheelchair accessibility: two large tables set aside for wheelchair access and a ramp to the door”
“Their Chole bhature are the best in the whole Bay Area. Try it once and you can tell the difference. I have ordered it many times and will continue to do so but I have tried their other food items which were just ok. Their naans needs improvement. Not sure what happened but when I took them home and tried to eat them, they were basically stretchy and unchewable. I hope they fix this problem. When eaten in the store, they are very good.”
“What can you say, typical coffee shop, excellent food, good prices.Kid-friendliness: Great kids options. French toast is superb.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat low sidewalk, easy for wheelchairs. A little tight, but doable. Sundays are busy.”
“I like this place because it's like a mom n pops kinda place, a hole in the wall type of place, I like those kind of restaurant! They sell American breakfast as well as Mexican breakfast!I had the birria with rice and beans! The birria was tasty and in it's own juice made it even betterrrrr!! ???”
“As we continued our cake tasting adventures we discoved this bakery and met with the owner: Jorge Flores who has been at this location for 18 years with 16 employees! An amazing cake artist who also studied with the REAL Cake Boss; Buddy Valastro! Jorge's cake was moist with a real "killer" buttercream. We bought pastries, (try the bread pudding...yummmm) AND special ordered my Birthday Cake from him which will be in the shape of my Westie Dog. I will post it in May when I get it. The display cases were fully stocked on a Monday with heavy foot traffic, this is a true landmark that merits our support with a kind, gentle, talented owner who cares about his product and staff. There no cake he cannot create”

“I recently ordered the Banana Rum Cheesecake for my husband's birthday. I messed up my online order by putting in the wrong date, sent an email in a bit of a panic, and the owner promptly and graciously addressed the issue, ensuring that we received our cheesecake on time! The Banana Rum Cheesecake was the best cheesecake we've ever had. I highly recommend this bakery for both their incredible cheesecakes and exceptional service.”
“This place is amazing and has a rich history. The food is incredible, and Ignacio, our host, was fantastic. When it comes to Mexican cuisine, it can be challenging to find authentic flavors and quality ingredients, but this place nails it. Their carnitas are delicious, and their secret salsa is smoky and flavorful. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience, this is the place to go. We enjoyed a la carte nopales and carnitas with a traditional Mexican coke. I forgot to take a picture, but trust me the presentation was great, and their prices are a bargain for the area and the quality of their food and service.”
“The wait was long but other than that it was an amazing experience, everything was delicious and the service was incredibleParking: Limit space for parking but very dinamic alsoKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly”
“Hector and his staff are awesome food is great service is great we go here once a week for lunch and it's always great, every dish we order never disapoints, they have a full bar and they whip up some great drinks and cold beers, I recommend visiting here and enjoying some great food and drinks along with great service...”

“I love African food, particularly Ethiopian and Somalian food. Recently I started branching out and trying other African cuisine.Meat pie - good but dry. Was premade then not heated very warm. It still tasted good but maybe I'd ask them to heat it up more.Tomato stew with goat - spicy - came with fufu - delicious. We soaked up every last drop.To the guy who was challenged by the texture of fufu, maybe you ate it just by itself? It's much better soaked in stew. Tastes like mashed potatoes with sauce instead of gravy. I think that, like white rice, it's meant to be a base for your entrees, not a side dish to be eaten alone (correct me if I'm wrong).Plantains - delicious - crispy and dry rather than moist as you would get in Caribbean/Latin food - but in a good way (I like both styles).Suup! soursop soda - reminded me of the solution kids use to blow bubbles, only sweet instead of soapy.I don't understand the complaints about small portions. The portions may look small by volume, but like Indian food, it is deceptively filling. The above was enough to make both of us full, and we have big appetites. Plus we had not eaten all day so we were starving by dinnertime.”
“We went to celebrate my niece's birthday, and her baby, the super friendly waitresses sang the mañanitas to her, and it was something very nice. God bless them.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Let me start with, IGNORE ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! THEY WOULDN'T KNOW AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IF IT BIT THEM....THEY NEED TO TAKE THEIR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE TO TACO BELL,WHAT THEY CONSIDER REAL MEXIN FOOD!!! BUT seriously though, this is hands down the Best and ONLY Authentic Mexican food in the bay area!!! I moved here (to Bay area) in 2017 from TEXAS where I was born and raised and have searched high and low for an even remotely good Mexican restaurant....in my opinion, all the others are watered down versions!! The chili rellenos were awesome!!! The rice was great and the beans were fantastic!!!! A little pricey, yes but WELL WORTH IT!! There is a reason this restaurant has been here for so many years!!! Do yourself a favor and try this place out, despite the negative reviews..... you'll be glad you did!!!As for me.... I'm headed over there now to snag me some chili rellenos....? Ohhhh and the salsa?!?!?!....... Do yourself a favor and order extra!!!”
“We go to this location every now and then as it is conveniently located for us and we try not to do a lot of fast food. The dining room seems to be always clean. The customer service is usually good as most of the workers are friendly. There is a medium-sized parking lot so there is always free onsite parkingParking: Plenty of parking, around 20-30 spots”
“It is what you expect. If you like Carl's, you'll like what you get here. I love coming by to get my favorite burgers. The staff was quick as usual. The prices are getting a little too high. I almost spent $20 on a medium meal. This is not exclusive to Carl's. We're seeing this across a bunch of other fast food chains.”
“Excellent to all workers! I only came here because I was very hungry and it was close. Normally I would pick anybody just about, besides Ono Hawaiian. I've been to 3 others- Fremont hub, Decoto Rd and one other I can't remember. None of them had this great service quality or good food. Whipple Rd store, you do it right!!”
“Tasty. Very nice service staff. The spicy chicken tenders are the bestVegetarian options: Lots of options possible.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly items.Parking: Lots of parkingWheelchair accessibility: First floor easy acessDietary restrictions: Easily able to modify anything.”
“The proteins with Vega and macaroni are so good. I love meats combo that really helped my body healthy. I have so much respect to workers doing their job, and doing fantastic work on this meal.”
“Had the baconator meal right before they closed, and it didn't disappoint. I was perfectly satisfied. Dave's patties are always top-notch, i haven't had a bad burger yet. One thing I didn't know about Wendy's is the salsa packets. I had no idea they had packets of my favorite salsa. I also didn't know about their foundation. This is a great place to come for a quick bite.”
“I never been in kfc for more than a month but when I took my dinner the other day I said to my self "oh kfc you are still The best when it comes to chicken" friendly employees very coozy atmosphere thanks a lot ”
“I like their Belgian waffles the food is always hot, and you don't have to wait very long. They have a kids menu.Kid-friendliness: Servers are really nice and they have a kid"s menu.”
“Sometimes, MOST times the chicken is delicious and juicy, but sometimes like today it sat on the grill too long and gets dried out. Overall the flavor is so good, I won't complain but just be wary...”
“I have come here many times, for the kfc love the original recipe 8 piece thighs bucket hella good with large Mac and cheese ! Service is excellent, restaurant is nice n clean and prices are decent. Entire staff does a great job! Don't pay attention to those haters leaving bad reviews.”
“This location has restored my faith in good quality food and service being served at a Carls Jr. I still won’t go to any others though!! The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly and polite. One thing I appreciate is that they always have house dressing which is far better than buttermilk ranch. I have eaten here more times in the past year than I have at any other location in 10 years easy.Thank you so much for not only being a great Carls Jr but a great local restaurant in general.”
“I have a question. Can you tell me why the Burger King on e12th in Oakland doesn't have a value MENU? VERY BASIC MENU. NOTHING NEW. EVERYTHING ON THE MENU is about half the price here as compared to the Oakland East 12th street location. All single items start AT ABOUT 3 DOLLARS there's like 3 items to choose from. Is it because of the homeless people nearby? To keep them at bay?”
“The food is good when the order is correct but when it's wrong they are very nice about fixing it unlike some locations I have been toParking: Parking wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't in a big flatbed tow truck”
“I've been coming here for years and the food is always good and consistent. Service and prices are good. My favorites are the bacon ultimate cheeseburger on sourdough bread, the extreme sausage sandwich and Jack's spicy chicken sandwich! I also like the fact they have a big menu a variety of food to choose from.”
“Great portions, great quality, fast service, reasonable prices. It's my favorite sushi place in the area. Go have a feast!Parking: Plenty of street parking but also nearby free parking lot”
“A very nondescript spot with heavy construction in front of the restaurant but oh am I glad I ate here!! The Kalbi was absolutely delicious!!! And I ate every single piece and wanted more! But alas I was too stuffed and can now only reminisce on how good my lunch was today.....”
Cheap Eats
“We spotted this small little Japanese restaurant while we were driving one day, and decided to give it a try. To my amaze it was surprisingly good! This is a place run by an old couple. Food is tasty and cheap, will definitely come again!”
“Solid Mexican food truck in the industrial area of Hayward! I recommend their burritos and the tacos, especially the shrimp tacos if you're a fan of seafood. They're really friendly, and get your order ready quickly. Great place to stop by for a lunch break.”
“We absolutely love this place. They cook our food fast. I’m always in and out of that place. Longest I’ve been in there waiting on my food is probably 10 minutes. Place is super good and great employees.”
“Just recently discovered this place, dropped by a couple times after my weekend workout. The lady at the counter is super sweet, always thrown in a donut with the sandwich. Think I'll be a regular from now on :)”
“It's always nice and cozy when I walk into Pearl's. They always greet you with a smile and treat you like family. Decent coffee and some pretty good waffles. I highly recommend this local Cafe.”
“I've been going there for years at least 20 love the people family business all their sausages pastries are all off the hook I I highly recommend going there.”
“Oh my!!! What a great find!! Delicious and authentic food. Good portions and competitive prices. Call ahead to make sure they have what you want to eat. They sell out fast.Parking: This is a food truck in a parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Low key no fuss atmosphere. Only three tables available when we were there. And kids were happy.”
“We love this place! It's a great location and it has a great outdoor garden/bar patio. In the summer/spring it's fun to go and see the bands play in the patio. Great place to met friends for a drink and some laughs. Drink prices are on the cheaper end.”
“We heard their brick and mortar closed down but glad to hear they are keeping their food truck going. We came here a couple times to take advantage of their taco Tuesdays deal $2, and grab a super burrito. It's located near Costco, near a bunch of industrial buildings. Could be hard to miss if you're not intentionally looking for this spot. They renovated their outdoor patio so there's plenty of seating and a bathroom for their customers. Their tacos taste very similar to how it was done in the past - still delicious and came with good amount of meat. I love their red and green salsa bottles around the tables. You can pour as much sauce as you want on your food without asking for sauces constantly. Their super burrito is delicious - the price is quite standard for the bay. They do have a burrito deal on Wednesday to take advantage of. I love their quesadillas though, Soo cheesy and packed with flavors! There's parking available although not plenty. They do close a little early around 6 I believe, so pick up food during the day to avoid peak traffic!”
“Haven't been at this Asia Delight for a while, but the food was fresh, hot and very TASTY!!! Had the sweet and sour pork, salt & pepper fish with chow mein, but also added spicy and sweet chicken wings that were AMAZING!!! ? Highly recommend trying them! ❤️”
“I was pretty impressed with the quality of the food and the freshness. Tasted very delicious, my whole family was satisfied and everyone went for seconds and some thirds. If your in Hayward and you want to eat some tasty Chinese food, then go to China ”
“The only fast food hot dog place that sends out coupons in the mail haha and they chili dogs are not bad add mustard packets oh and add cheese to all of them, game changer”
“If you’re looking for the most BANG for your BUCK then THIS IS THE SPOT!Variety, taste, and service 5/5I want to keep this place all to myself but they deserve the business !”
“I have been passing by this place for a few months and kept saying to myself that I would stop in and try it out. Finally, I had some extra time on my way home, so I stopped in and ordered some food. Very old fashioned establishment that reminded me of a Foster's Freeze. They have plenty of options for food and desserts. I went with the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. The food came out piping hot and delicious! The price was a little more than I was expecting as the burger, fries, and a drink ran me about $20! I should've grabbed pics of the menu since most of the featured ones are pretty old. I saw a few people eating these ice cream cones that had a mountain of soft serve coming out the top! Definitely need to try one next time. The burger and toppings were super fresh and well cooked. I would've liked my bun toasted a little more. The bacon had a great texture and tasted amazing, not that floppy, thin, tasteless stuff that some burger joints use. The spicy fries were potato wedges with a sort of cajun seasoning that gave them a very slight spice. They were crispy but also pillowy and delicious!Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. I will definitely be back again, but more so as a treat to myself.”
“Honestly this place is amazing, I was a little skeptical at first being a Mediterranean Mexican fusion spot and me being Mexican, but man this place is the spot the birria tacos were straight up top three I’ve had period. Definitely coming back and recommending.Dietary restrictions: All items on menu are halal for the Muslim community.”
“The food has a true Sinaloan flavor and style, the service is quite good although a little limited to the demand it usually has. The place is presentable but small, its style of music and atmosphere is 100% Sinaloan. It is currently undergoing some renovations which does not give a good view of the place. The prices are below average when seafood costs less than 30 dollars per person.Parking: In front of the restaurant”
“Everything is good there, food is really good service and atmosphereWe love that placeParking: Parking is good there are it's a shopping center you can find parking everywhere sometimes I find parking I'm front or on the side of the restaurantKid-friendliness: It's good for the kids also you can write on the booth wich is cool or you can write something anywhere you find a spot to write something”
“This is my second time at this restaurant and the customer service is always great. The food just as good too! Parking is not too bad especially being downtown Hayward. I definitely recommend this restaurant!”
“So new owners and much friendlier people working there and the pizza is amazing took me back the the east coast, crust was crispy the sauce is on point. They are doing a great job so far…I can say “ I take back my old review from the last time I went….Horrible customer service guy in back with really bad haircut is really rude with no people skills whatsoever. However the lady in there is very nice but always look over worked and tired poor thing”

Toto's Grill
“Every Bay Area Filipino's go-to for Filipino street food. The place is really nice inside and staff are very friendly. The food is good as well, can't go wrong. If you're not Filipino and feeling adventurous, wanting to try this for the first time, you can always start off with the standard bbq meat or hotdogs. All the meat is technically already cooked, you're just grilling/charring it unlike the authentic ones in the Philippines.”
“Saudagur level quality (good). Fiji Sweets and Snacks is a hidden gem in Hayward that offers authentic Indo-Fijian cuisine and desserts. The food is amazing, with a variety of dishes to choose from, such as chicken curry, lamb curry, roti, samosa, and more. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The curry is flavorful and spicy, but not too hot. The roti is soft and flaky, and the samosa is crispy and savory. The desserts are the best part, also very tasty, with options like barfi, ladoo, jalebi, peda, and more. The sweets are rich and creamy, but not too sweet. They also have a selection of drinks, such as Jucy soda, Fiji water, and masala tea. The store is clean and cozy, with a nice ambiance and decor. They also sell some Fiji products, such as snacks, spices, souvenirs, and more. You can find everything you need to enjoy the Fiji culture and cuisine.”
“Deciitontet this new spot out. They have lots of options online menu and 2 kiosk to order yourself inside. They also have catering options. I tried the pizza samosa which were good and spicy. Not pizza flavored they have a nice Indian taste but spicy so not really for kids but delicious. Smaller than most Samosas about the size of pizza rolls. The lamb gyro was tasty and I enjoyed it. No fat on the meat it was thinly sliced had lots of meat. They serve drinks, smoothies, juices, bowls, salads, soups, sandwichws, gyro, really everything. The juice was refreshing and all natural veggies and fruit. No sweeteners unless upon request. I was also gifted a tiny chocolate pudding to try. It was really delicious and fresh my daughter enjoy it. I'd try something different next time lots of choices.”
“Got catered lunch from here.Pros: Really good naan, fresh rice and delicious tofu korma.Cons: The cauliflower could have had a little more flavor and their mango pudding is not the best.”
“Realized I forgot to take photos of the food because I was enjoying every bite! It was my first time here and we had a large group of 16. Staff was friendly and accommodating for us. Food came out fast and each dish was told to us as it came out so we knew what we were eating. Portions were good I especially loved the green beans and the salt and pepper pork chop. I didn't even have to ask for more water as they came around multiple times throughout the dinner. For dessert they even brought out mango pudding which was a nice surprise. Would definitely come back to try dim sum.”
“Food is good and price is very reasonable. Food are always made as you order it... always fresh. Staff are very friendly and service is very good. Ambiance is okay, lots of space and clean.”
“Came here for lunch on a Thursday. Lots of parking and the place is huge so choice of tables. Service is quick and efficient. As usual, had the teriyaki chicken bento. Came with miso soup, salad, gyoza, California roll and rice. Everything tasted good, good amount of chicken and the teriyaki sauce was good. Overall, a nice, OK experience. We'd come back.”
“This place is still open n it is great! Food is good n tasty! Don't know why it is listed closed.... But it is alive n open! ..lol... Don't judge a book by His it's color...it is good!Buffet style dining.. located (used to be a tacobell back then) between a mini strip mall and gas station on Tennyson rd.”

Five Guys
“The environment was really nice and so was the whole fast food place it felt very clean. The cashier was super patient and nice and made sure that we had our exact order that we wanted. We had a lot to order but she stayed patient with us the whole time. The food came out pretty quickly and was delicious. You can see them cook your food right in front of you. They have peanuts that are free and you can eat while waiting and a soda fountain. This is making five guys one of my favorite restaurantsParking: Was able to park right outside and there was a lot of available parkingKid-friendliness: There's crayons and small index sized cards where you can color and put it on the wall. Very kid friendly”

La Casita 2
“I have already visited this place several times and I always have a good impression.... the food is delivered quickly and so are the drinks... the lady who served me was super friendly... and super attentive! Thank you.. ??Kid-friendliness: I love that they have a children's menu ”
“So Good!! We ordered the chicken wrap, chicken shawarma plate, Philly cheese, cheeseburger, and samosas. Everything was so delicious. Very flavorful. The presentation was perfect. Kids loved it too. Will definitely be back in soon. The interior smelled and looked very clean, the decor is beautiful as well, great place to host a party. They also have a buffet during the day that looks so good too.”
“My significant other and I love getting pizza here. The owners are all family and they are very kind, great prices and they make some of the best pizza we've ever had. We come at least 3-4 times a week for a pizza.”

SushiLand
“Good service. The waiter was friendly and attentive to me and my 2 year old needs. Both beef and chicken teriyaki were tender and flavorful. The baked sushi (Lion and Bay) were a hit on our table. Recommend :)”

“Quick bite for lunch, ordered chicken and shrimp combo, the shrimp was very fresh, perfectly cooked, the staffs were very nice and quick service. Price was reasonable!”
“My bf and I wanted to get lunch together and we were in the mood for some burgers. We always seen this spot but never got a chance to try it out. We were able to find parking in the free parking lot located one the rear side of the building. We were greeted right away and were shown the menu and all food options they had.. decision decisions! My bf always relies on me to pick out his food because he always says I have great taste in food! So I decided to order him the Monster Burger and I ordered myself Beyond Burger(vegan). I absolutely knew my bf would love his burger since that man can eat! I wanted to try something new something I never get so I wanted to try out their vegan burger. With an order of sweet potato fries! My absolute favorite type of fries!! My bf ate all food and was very impressed and very satisfied with my choice of food I picked out for him! I absolutely fell in love with my vegan burger, couldn't believe I could hardly tell it was not a real meat! I felt very light after my burger and didn't feel that heavy feeling on my stomach! Definitely wouldn't mind coming back for round two!!”
“Since they reopened under new ownership, a new chef and menu, and recently a new brewer, the food is good but a bit overpriced, and the beer is good but in limited variety compared to the original ownership.”
“This taco truck is amazing. Everything you can expect from a taco truck. Some things this one does better than the others are their homemade tortillas and also the assortment of salsas. All the items come with a good amount of meat. The only slightly bad thing is the price. Tacos are a bit pricey compared to the others, but in the end, it's still worth it. I would recommend coming here.”
“I went to them with a request to rent their party halls. The owners are very accommodating and they work with you to help you hold the event. Their catering menu offers many varieties and there is something for everyone. Again even with menu selections they offer you ideas based on the kind of group you have. I am really looking forward to our event at Mughal Restaurant party halls.I highly recommend this business.”
“After a long day of real estate hustle, I recommended to my coworkers United Mexican restaurant, craving something hearty to combat our jet lag. And let me tell you, it was a culinary oasis! From the moment we stepped in, the aroma of spices greeted us warmly. We dove into a feast fit for weary travelers: menudo, sopa de 7 mares, caldo de res, and Agua chiles rojos con mango. Each dish was a symphony of flavors, transporting us back to the vibrant streets of Mexico. What truly impressed us was the swift service. Despite our hunger-induced haste, the staff ensured our orders arrived promptly, allowing us to refuel efficiently. And let's not forget the pièce de résistance: the micheladas. Each sip was a refreshing burst of flavor, perfectly complementing our meal.As if the culinary experience wasn't enough, the restaurant had added some delightful backdrops, catering to the Instagram-savvy crowd. These picturesque spots added a touch of charm, enticing patrons to capture their dining moments for social media. In essence, United Mexican restaurant not only satisfied our cravings but also exceeded our expectations. It's a gem worth revisiting, especially for those seeking authentic Mexican fare with a side of aesthetic delight.”

Subway
“Subway never fails to make a good sandwich. I have been coming to this location for a few years. This location is always very clean and well maintained. The workers offer a fast and friendly service. They never fail at making a good sandwiches.”
“This is a little power house of a restaurant. Excellent food traditional wise seems they specialize in Mexican seafood dishes we had the shrimp, tender and fresh. The dining area is small and comfy not real fancy but nicely done. You never know from looking at the outside that the inside food is definitely special and well prepared on large plates.Parking: Not much parking. Parking is tight. I think you can use the spots next door once that business es closes.”
“The store is very clean and there is a wide variety of food and vegetables, the prices are a little high.I didn't like the dough for tortillas, it's not corn, it's flour with water”
“Carmen's has some of the best BBQ in the Bay Area. They have their own take on BBQ, so it might not be to everyone's liking. The brisket is very tasty, but you get chopped up pieces rather than the long strips of beef more typically found. They're hot sauce is hotter than most, and is my favorite. The greens are fantastic. The service is always kind and helpful.”
“I come here for Taco Tuesdays and the tacos are pretty good. I normally get grilled chicken and carnitas. Carnitas is good and very oily lol but good No bad experience as of yet.”
“I had the chicken parmesan. Sauce was a little thin but tasted pretty good. It was served with some penne pasta and vegetables that were both cooked just right. It seemed a little overpriced, but what isn't these days? Dinner and a glass of wine were just under 40 per person.”

PhilHouse
“For the last several years, we have been going here in this branch, which is in Hayward close to target. I love going here because it's just pretty small compared to the other one of their competitor and I can still get everything that I need at the same time. The fact that I love doing my groceries at Island pacific and since they are inside the store. It's all a one stop shop, I always love their selections. The only thing I am disappointed is when you try to call them for advance orders no one is even answering the calls, but nonetheless, I still recommend them.”
“This may very well be the best Indian food in the entire Bay Area. Strongly recommend any of their kormas, it is by a very wide margin the tastiest korma I've had at countless Indian restaurants. It's totally worth it to order for delivery as well, and the prices are quite reasonable. Naan is very fresh and the cook they put on their meats is textbook. Do yourself a favor and give them a try, you won't regret it.”
“Pleasant Visit with Great Service at Applebee’s HaywardI recently visited Applebee’s Grill + Bar on Southland Dr, Hayward, CA, on a Sunday morning, and the experience was quite positive. The welcoming ambiance, ample available tables, and prompt greeting set a pleasant tone for our visit. The server stood out for her friendliness and attentiveness, regularly checking in with us. It was a nice touch, even though we didn’t require much assistance. What added to the positive experience was the discovery that Applebee’s gift cards could be used not only for payment but also as part of the tip—a feature not common with many gift cards.Although we typically don’t dine at Applebee’s, a Christmas gift card led us here, and we were pleased with the flexibility it offered. We ordered two appetizers and two main entrees, all of which were enjoyable, leaving us with a positive impression.During the checkout process, there was a minor hiccup when the screen prompted a $2 charge for a game. I recommend double-checking the machine before completing the transaction. Fortunately, the server swiftly resolved the issue by removing the game charge.Overall, our experience at Applebee’s Hayward was delightful, and we look forward to returning in the future. The combination of good food, attentive service, and the unexpected convenience of using gift cards for tips made it a memorable visit.”
“This has been my first visit in this restaurant I love Mexican food and Mexican people This place has the best food Appetizers salsa, chips, Khanh nice and warm. I've never had this. Tasty burrito was great. My wife had enchiladas. There's a lot of meat inside. It's not just bread. But more the waitress was a sweetheart”
“Kritika was so sweet and professional and gave the best customer service !! We really loved the garlic knots she recommended and a vegetarian pizza! She brought me marinera also ans was very fast and efficient! Definitely had amazing service thanks to Kritika !!!!Kid-friendliness: Yes”
“We just looked for a lunch place after a walk at the Cogswell Marsh along Hayward Shoreline, and found this place on Google maps. The sushi turned out to be the best we have had for a long time. Very fresh and generous portion. The Ramen was also delicious. Even though we don’t live close by, I would try to go there if I am anywhere near.”
“We were in from Minnesota December 10/17, staying at the fairfield Inn. Went over late and had the Mtveggiemore pizza with the artichoke and we added sausage. Seriously the best pizza we ever had. Omg! The best. Ever! From anywhere.. and we've had alot of pizzas in alot of different places. And the young man working was so pleasant, kind, funny. And very busy and us being tourists was very patient when we had no idea what we wanted. He suggested we try the one we got.”

“I'm in town for one evening and very fortunate to find this restaurant. If managed correctly, customers can count on an outstanding meal. The food and atmosphere were A+. Only disappointment was the service. The cashier was in full conversation with another employee and made the line wait almost 6 minutes for her to address me. Was not greeted at all. Very odd and uncomfortable.”
“I went to this location on 10/29/2023 for a late lunch. This was my first time at this location. Round Table is my favorite pizza chain so I was glad that this location opened. I was craving pizza today and wanted to go somewhere with a salad bar, so I decided on Round Table today. I'm actually closer to another pizza chain but I prefer RoundTable. I went there and it took a few minutes for someone to come to the register to greet me. I did not think much of it because I remembered that there were Sunday football games going on and maybe other games, so I was sure they were swamped with orders. I appreciate people that work in restaurants and retail, it's not an easy job and plus they have to work on the days when others are out having fun. I think sometimes that is taken for granted, so I much appreciate the people working so that I can have a good dining experience. This location seems like it's more conducive for take out as it is very small inside so there are only a few tables. It feels more like a quick eat location. So if you want more ambiance and that medieval looking interior with booths/tables that are farther away from where they take your order, this location is not like that. But having mentioned that, you can still eat inside but it may not be as comfortable as it would at other locations. If you just quickly want to eat your food, it will be fine. I sat right underneath their flatscreen and I thought it was a bit loud, but I didn't say anything. It was nice to be able to look through the window. I was the only one dining in and I did notice they had a steady flow of customers picking up their orders, so they were busy. The cashier was polite and friendly. She made an order suggestion that gave me more value for my money and I appreciated that. I'm not sure what her name was but going off my receipt it was Mariella. I noticed she was polite to all the customers that came in. I enjoyed my pizza and my salad. I didn't feel like I broke the bank by choosing to have lunch here, which was good. I was able to get another meal out of it since I couldn't finish my pizza and with everything being so expensive, I appreciate that. I would definitely order from this location again.”
“Well, it was very entertaining for the children, my friend had a party at the place and it's a shame that the service was very very delayed, they didn't have enough staff to serve so many people, they had many events going on that day and the boys couldn't cope, they have to take the events into account to that they can put enough staff on those days”
“If you want to skip the line, sit at the bar and Christina will take care of you on a Tuesday evening. The food and drinks came out on time, even after a power outage, and the experience is always different depending on who's serving. This was an unexpected outcome, but the food and service was phenomenal compared to other times!I recommend visiting between 4pm-7pm for best services!”

“I used to eat here all the time when I was a kid and I remembered it as a great place for a good burger. I’ve heard this place changed ownership and wanted to see if it’s still good as I remember. I got the Double Bulky Bacon Cheeseburger, with Fries and a butterscotch milkshake. I have to say the burger did not let me down. It was a pretty good size burger the meat was still juicy inside and it was a bit messy with their burger sauce but it added good flavor. It had shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles as well. The fries were shoestring that was lightly seasoned with salt and they were still a little soft not too crispy which I like with those fries. If you like them crispy ask for them to be well done. The butterscotch milkshake was nice and thick, just wish it had more butterscotch flavor. Overall I really enjoyed everything and as far as price wise with all the price hikes everywhere else, it’s still a good deal for its price.”
“Good value for lunch combos. Good value over all as all entrees include rice or bean bread. That means you pay $2-3 less than other places. And the free chai is back!Vegetarian options: Some dish are fully vegan, liken the Channa Masala and mixed veggies. They can make Bindi without ghee on request .Parking: They are only a block from a mall with a Grocery Outlet, so extra parking there.”
“Great food and the best staff. No matter what time you go they are always friendly and care for you. The Al pastor wet burrito is literally the greatest thing of all time, especially with all the salsas they have available. This place is bomb.”
“Thank you Donut Factory! Great donuts and great service. Ordered via DoorDash and they were out of a particular item I ordered and wrote me a nice note apologizing and including a ton of extra items! Much appreciated”
“I've picked up their cinnamon bread from the local grocery and it is AMAZING! I fell in live at first sight, and taste! I've literally eaten almost a whole loaf by accident. Lol. It's so delectable and will melt in your mouth. It doesn't have an aftertaste like many packaged pastries and is fresh. I look forward to trying their other products. Do yourself a favor: if you see anything "Sweet Paradise", go ahead and buy it!!!”
“As someone from Asia, they have one of the best green curry and Pad See Ew in the Bay Area.(By no following the cult of adding bamboo shoot in the green curry??)”
“Food is good and price is very reasonable. Food are always made as you order it... always fresh. Staff are very friendly and service is very good. Ambiance is okay, lots of space and clean.”
“I saw the carne asada pizza on DoorDash and it sounded uniquely different so I wanted to try it out. Omg it did not disappoint! It was so unbelievably so good and satisfying! It’s like eating a taco in a pizza form. I would definitely order this for a party in the future.”

“This place has way too many one-star reviews from people who forgot Taco Bell is a fast food joint. I've been ordering here for the last three years with only very minor issues. Once late at night, my order took a really long time, and once my taco shells were crushed, but that could happen anywhere and neither was a consistent issue. The employees are friendly, get the orders/customizations right, and don't skimp on the hot sauce packets. The dining area and bathrooms are relatively clean. It's a perfectly acceptable Taco Bell (and KFC) experience.”
“The wait was long but other than that it was an amazing experience, everything was delicious and the service was incredibleParking: Limit space for parking but very dinamic alsoKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly”
“This is a takeout place offering 'Gourmet burgers'. I found the burgers to be, well, OK. A step up from the normal big name fast foods but nothing out of the ordinary. Gourmet, is not the word that came to mind, however, the veggies were fresh and the burger was cooked to specification. The fries were good. Took a bit to get the order. My uncle got a burger and a hot dog. Same reaction to the burger but said the Hot Dog was really great. All in all, for two meals we paid about 40 bucks, that's about average, maybe high average, for two.”
“Sometimes, MOST times the chicken is delicious and juicy, but sometimes like today it sat on the grill too long and gets dried out. Overall the flavor is so good, I won't complain but just be wary...”
“Good small Taqueria. Excellent staff. Food good. Had Tacobuero and Chille Relleno. Staff has limited English, and I have limited Español but the mix went fine.”

“The food and options were very good but the kiosks were out and the video board was glitchy. It was a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.Dietary restrictions: They have halal and vegetarian options.”
“Still great pizza when they're not stupid busy or short -staffed. Love the slices when it's just 2 of us because they are huge, filled with flavor and toppings, and cooked perfectly and not mushy in the middle like the normal sizes can be. Updated menu attached!”
“I would have given 5 stars if my order was correct. It was good but not what I ordered and I wasn't driving back.Service was okay. Not rude. The establishment was clean.I'll be back. But this time, I'll check my order prior to driving away.Worth a drive from Fremont and beyond”
“Definitely get the lemongrass beef and grilled pork sandwiches and the marshmallows from hello kitty and get the V iced coffees the service is lovely the food is amazing and everything is very beautifully displayed; I need to come back and try more items like their bao and fresh rolls. “As a 30-year-old professional juggling a busy career and family life, finding a local spot like Moe's Tavern in Hayward has been a game changer for me. It's the ideal place to unwind and have a great time, without straying too far from home and family responsibilities. The atmosphere at Moe's is just what anyone in our age bracket would appreciate - it strikes the perfect balance between lively and laid-back. The crowd here is fantastic; everyone is friendly and up for a good laugh, making it easy to enjoy even a quick visit. What I love about Moe's is that it doesn't feel like your typical bar. It's a place where you can have a hearty laugh, engage in interesting conversations, and still enjoy the subtleties of a well-crafted drink. It's a rare find where the vibe is always welcoming, making it a great spot to either mingle or relax solo after a hectic day.”
“The store is very clean and there is a wide variety of food and vegetables, the prices are a little high.I didn't like the dough for tortillas, it's not corn, it's flour with water”
“It was my first time coming to this Hayward location and the food was amazing! My chicken bowl and 3 crunchy tacos were fresh and delicious. The service was fast and the restaurant was very clean. The only thing I will say is that I dislike their garbage holes as they are shaped as a very small square.Don’t let the negative reviews throw you off. I’m not sure why other customers said the food was cold and old haha.”
“The service was amazing! The food was excellent. The ambiance was great with their new decor upgrades. Can’t recommend this place enough. I am going to come every time I need a curry fix!”
