“Ok folks, many deli places have a BBQ sandwich or two but believe me when I say the handmade sauce provided here is among the very best I've had and I make my own and wish it turned out as good as Pop's. The food is rivaled by the friendly, polite, and courteous staff who make one feel they are being served as though you were family. This little gem is tucked away in the heart of an Industrial area in Hayward so lunch time can be a bit busy but the food is worth the little bit of waiting. No matter what sandwich I've had over the years I'm never disappointed as they are all freshly made and they do not skimp on portions. Great food and at a better than reasonable price. Treat yourself one day, I promise you will not be disappointed.“
“I used to eat here all the time when I was a kid and I remembered it as a great place for a good burger. I’ve heard this place changed ownership and wanted to see if it’s still good as I remember. I got the Double Bulky Bacon Cheeseburger, with Fries and a butterscotch milkshake. I have to say the burger did not let me down. It was a pretty good size burger the meat was still juicy inside and it was a bit messy with their burger sauce but it added good flavor. It had shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles as well. The fries were shoestring that was lightly seasoned with salt and they were still a little soft not too crispy which I like with those fries. If you like them crispy ask for them to be well done. The butterscotch milkshake was nice and thick, just wish it had more butterscotch flavor. Overall I really enjoyed everything and as far as price wise with all the price hikes everywhere else, it’s still a good deal for its price.“
“I've been coming to this quizmos for many years now. There's not too many quizmo's left around the Bay area. Although there is one in Fremont.The service here is great. The owner is amazing. I've been knowing him for many years.The server Anna is always friendly & polite. She seems to be there all the time. “This place was great! The food was good, service was pleasant, and I loved the pictures of old Town Hayward on the wall. But best of all is that they gave us glass jars for our drinks and served us on a real plate. No needless waste. Fantastic.Vegetarian options: They had a number of veg items. I am vegetarian and had the Del Monte Special, which was really good. Didn't feel like they skimped just because there was no meat. Great job.“

“I came across this place while I was door dashing. The menu was unique and the sandwiches sounded good. I got the Tom & Jerry on a Dutch Crunch roll. It came exactly how I ordered it and tasted amazing. There is plenty of sauce on it which I love. The bread was nice and soft too! I wish there was one closer to my house. I'd probably eat here more often. Definitely gonna order again.“
