“Went for lunch and sat outside. The outdoor tables were super comfortable and it’s a lovely area to sit. We got the lunch sandwiches with mac salad and the portion was huge!!! Sandwiches were great and for such a good price. Definitely could share one with two people. Only issue was it was a little confusing between ordering online and with the bartender, but service was good!“
“Outdoor seating is great. Lots of beautiful West LA / South Bay types wandering by. Food is OK and service on the day wasn’t great but I’ll give them a pass cause they weren’t expecting another spectacular SoCal day in early February.“
“My to go pub at hermosa for sports games. Great food and the crowd is always fun. The service is okay, considering that this place get really packed with few servers . Overall it is a nice spot to crab a drink, kickball, relax and watch your favorite team kick some A**!“
“Baja Sharkeez is the perfect weekend brunch spot! Food is on point and Jay was incredible. I ordered the veggie skillet and a side of tots to make 3 of my very own breakfast burritos. Jay kept us refilled with mimosas and was extremely personable. You’ve got to visit this South Bay gem!Vegetarian options: Veggie Skillet“
“A true dive bar with a lot of personality. Staff is very friendly as are the customers. They have karaoke, 2 pool tables, darts, sports TV, good parking & very reasonable drinks. The KJ, and bartenders are really fun. I call it a melting pot of humanity...people from all different walks of life that are very friendly with each other. It's a comfortable, fun, relaxed atmosphere.“
“Our first time trying this spot. Once I heard there was a lobster specific spot in the South Bay, I had to give it a go. Fun little spot with a bar top as well as booths and tables. We had the lobster rolls Connecticut style, waffle fries, and flaming hot lobster fries. Definitely worth a try. We knew going into it that it would be a pretty penny but wanted to get the full experience on the first go. Also, friendly service definitely stood out. Much appreciated. If you're in the mood for lobster check this spot out.“
“We go there every other month for Sunday night dinner and blues music. The Porterhouse Blues band is excellent! They have 6 TV's and a good tasting variety of foods. Their Hamburgers are delicious!Parking: Downtown Inglewood can be busy. We get there around 7 p.m. and usually find parking within 200 feet of the entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem per State Law.“
“Strong drinks, fast service and hot fries. What's to complain about? It's within walking distance from the beach, it's a total classic dive bar - old posters, jukebox songs and plenty of TVs playing sports. It's a bigger place than it looks like from the outside with back patio seating. Parking isn't easy but it's to be expected for the area.“
“A truly hidden gem. Went with some friends while waiting for a dinner reservation, and were thrilled with our experience. The atmosphere is lovely, they have board games for patrons, and they had free snacks. Would make it my regular spot if I lived closer.“
“foods great !!! service can be better.. the older guy with backwards hat irks me soooooo much like umm hello how are you?! i'm great thanks you. never says what he's doing , just starts taking things and stares... I LOVEEE THE woman with short hair , so kind and very genuine!! take some notes dude.. anywhooo see ya next time :)“
“The dining experience at this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, the welcoming atmosphere set the stage for a delightful evening. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that left me craving more. Additionally, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that every need was met promptly. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food and service.“
“Awesome place to grab a beer or cocktail and some food. So good I came 2 days in a row. Wings are awesome, I like the very well done and the came to my liking. Smash burgers are delicious. The bartenders are attentive and cool. Great LA dive(ish) bar. My new go-to.“
“Had a private dinner and party here and the best time! The owner and operators were so helpful and pleasant to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special event. Wonderful sound system, lots of space to dance and plenty of space to sit! The bathrooms were clean and the drinks were strong! The outdoor patio with the fire pit table were beautiful and comforting. And the parking was easy and close. All in all excellent!“
“Amazing place. Fantastic service and delicious food. Every person from the bartender to our service was the best. Seriously, this place was packed, but we still had a table for 7 and our food on the table in less than 20 mins. You guys are awesome. Thank you again.“
“Food good. Enjoyed the potato taquitos and the hot wings. Got the burger order wrong. We were there with my cousins grandson & ordered a plain cheeseburger with ketchup. Brought a burger with all the stuff on it. Six year old was very disappointed. Ordered a Sierra Mist and it had no syrup in it. Can't imagine that was the first time it was served like that. Why not just offer bottled or canned soda instead of serving bad soda?“
“Found this place on yelp while in town. Great local place, lots of regulars in costume leading up to Halloween. Band played classic rock everyone could sing to. Standard bar fare well priced and served quickly. Sat next to owner who shared about upcoming bands and events. Nice hangout if you're visiting or live close by.“
“Food is great and the restaurant is run by the owners - always a good sign. Bar area is cool, they have jukebox that you can control from an app on your phone and plenty of TV's to catch a game. Excellent shredded beef in their quesadillas and enchiladas - the flavor is just fantastic! They have unbelievable lunch specials and is one of the last places in LA where you won't have to transfer money from your 401k to pay for a meal. The place is pretty big and has room for a nice birthday party. Oh... and the service is very fast. Ain't nobody lazy employed here!“
“I've been comin here for quite a few years and never had anythin that I didn't like...generous portions on the food...you've got to stop in and try it yourself...pool tables(2) Golf Machine game, dart board, and video machine with a variety of games on one machine, a jukebox to pick gr8 songs and a patio outside to smoke your cigarettes...what more can you ask for...And it's a Full Bar with lots of friendly ppl and 6 r 7 TVs as well...A Great Place To Watch Your Sports any day of the week you'll wish you knew of this place sooner...GG-Gail?“
“I love the shack. Been coming here since I was like 17. Shoutout to the fake id that said I was 6'4 when I was maybe 5'10. The Shack Burger is a staple to absorb some of the drunken mistakes you might have made at the other bars prior to. I always allude to the shack as a beach bar with food reminiscent of a backyard barbecue with your relatives. It's not a destination that you necessarily seek out, but an oasis that you stumble into thinking you're just going to have one, but end up having several. Even now as I approach 28, I still love the shack.“
“Great spot with awesome decor/atmosphere. Our server/bartender was a delight, the food & beverage options are excellent. We had the sliders and fries with some well priced wine & ciders. The chef came out and we saw his passion for providing a great experience for Tap House guests.“
“They have excellent Philly Cheese Steaks! Homemade chips are bomb, as well as their tots. I got a chicken taco salad bowl last time for dinner, it really hit the spot. They serve beer and wine (no liquor), but as far as bars go, the food is great. Definitely reccomend.“
“Visiting from Maryland with my mom and brother! We wanted to hear some live jazz and stumbled upon a gem. The live jazz was absolutely amazing and service was awesome. We felt so welcome when we entered. I will be returning the next time I visit!“
“I want to give a full overview of the Nile Bar. I’ve been on multiple occasions- weekends and weeknights alike so I feel I have a good gage.Theres a lot of great things such as the huge TV’s, huge bar seating, live DJ/Bands and themed nights. It’s definitely more of a local bar feel because it’s a very clicky place. Meaning people just talk amongst the group of friends they came with- it’s not very social if you come alone and want to meet new people.Overall, service is not bad but it’s not good. You will wait much longer than expected. This is if the bar is full or just 1 to 5 people inside. Experienced both.Drinks are good and strong- price varies as they do have happy hour, but I usually pay closer to 17 bucks for one drink after happy hour.Had the sliders which were excellent but the wings were cooked very hard and they were not good. Now this part can be superficial, but this is for the fellas. The woman are on the larger/older side. This place doesn’t attract younger, smaller sized women. I’m not saying the women aren’t pretty, but if you also want someone in shape I would say this is not the place. And for the women… there’s a selection of men who come in solo to “watch the game” but besides small talk and a drink being bought for a very select few- I don’t really see you meeting anyone here. Just not set up for that vibe in my opinion. Stick to your gworls. But with all that being said, something about the Nile Bar really works. You just want to always come back because it does feel great. Idk what it is, but it’s a special feeling this place has that just pulls you back in for another game, another bite, or another drink.I give this place 4 stars overall!“
“I have dined here for almost 10 years or so, and I come here often for a good reason, so I sincerely wish I could rate this 5 stars. The atmosphere is fun and it's a good place to sit down, relax, and have a good time (in terms of going to a restaurant). The food is generally good but almost every time I order the nachos and explicitly ask them for no jalapenos and peppers, they put them on, as they seem to forget the exact order when it gets to the kitchen. I have had to send food back, and while I do not want to be a pest, I keep having to death with this issue and have gotten frustrated. On a more positive note, when I order other foods, they usually come out pretty good, especially for a non-formal bar. I recommend the house salad and the Chicken Fingers. If you want something less casual, this place might not be the best dining options. I am 90% sure there are less casual options, though.Parking: Depends on the day. Sometimes incredibly easy to find parking, and other days nearly impossible.Kid-friendliness: Despite being a bar, it is surprisingly kid friendly.“
“I just love this place. It is my go-to bar. Not too busy, but just enough. I have been coming here for years with my girls, and we love it. If you need a location to go have a good drink and listen to some good R & B music, then look no further. Oh, and they have good bar food, sharable sizes“
“If you come here for anything aside from the breakfast special, you're probably 21, killing time before your drive home from work, or trying to recapture your youth. Sharkeez has great service, great deals and good food. They have ridiculous happy hour specials. If you come at night it's a whole other story, but that's on the clientele and not the staff. The rise and shine special is a blessing.“
“Twas a nice an spacious setting for a good bash if old, the brews floweth the liquor poureth, many a maiden danced, games of skill an chance were played on green tables with balls an pockets. One may even throw tiny arrows at the wall if they please. Thyn must say... "Twas a night to remember" ( insert bilbo baggins quote) but for real I really like this place, bartenders are friendly an run a tight ship, they have pool tables darts and shuffle board. PS the pool scene can be competitive but that's why I go there, if you like pool, you'll find good competition there on Fridays“
“?? Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars)I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lomita Alehouse during their Octoberfest celebrations, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! ??At first glance, the bar may seem a bit small, but do not let that deceive you. The cozy atmosphere adds to its charm, and it creates a wonderful sense of camaraderie among patrons. ??What sets Lomita Alehouse apart is their inclusion of a billiard table. This added feature is a great way to engage with friends while enjoying a drink. I had a blast challenging my friends to friendly games of pool.??One unique aspect that I really appreciated was the utilization of the outdoor parking area for a live concert. This addition was unexpected but turned out to be an amazing surprise. The atmosphere was electric, and the good vibes were contagious. ??The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure everyone had a great time. They seemed genuinely passionate about making the experience memorable for all customers. The service was quick, and the drinks were reasonably priced. ??Overall, my time at at this bar was truly enjoyable. The combination of the Octoberfest celebration, billiard table, and the vibrant atmosphere in the outdoor concert area made for an unforgettable night. I highly recommend giving this bar a visit if you're looking for a good time. Cheers! ?? #arnoldvides“
“The restaurant was nice and the food was good, but what was really upsetting was the service. I had three children with me tonight and it felt as if the waitress could have been asking us a bit more if I needed anything. Plus, none of the hamburgers apparently come with cheese. It’s extra but you won’t know that til the end of the bill. Why are businesses not giving a veterans discount? Do these businesses not like the freedom that we as military members have done for you? I guess it gets in the way of the $15 hamburger with no cheese.“
“I would definitely recommend this place. It is definitely a hidden gem. The customer service was one of the best I have seen from a bar. The prices are amazing compared to other places I go. Food was pretty good and well seasoned. I would definitely come back here again.“
“One of the best local restaurants I’ve ever been to... everything from the staff to the food as well as the local crowd!!! All great people and always a good time!!! Food has never disappointed!!! Am grateful to be able to come here with my friends and family!!! Thank you Tony!!!“
“The food was awesome. We had the burger with split decision half fries half onion rings we also had the pretzel bites with cheese dipping sauce. So yummy.Kid-friendliness: We met the little league team there since we have been rained out of firat practice. It was so nice to get to know the families.“
“I took a late picture of my food... The filet mignon is a hidden gem at the standard!! It's been on the menu for a bit. It just never wanted to try...I'm into the bar food and just didn't feel like a filet mignon at a bar.... ORDER IT!!' The sauce it's served with is excellent,. And the veg and mash...just fits right...and you can't beat the price!!... 100% recommend!! I have a bit of an after pic but won't make justice... the service is awesome and just another steak find!..“
“I'm seeing quite a few reviews here about people going out of their way to visit this place. If you're reading this before you visit, that's not really what it's for. This is the in-house cafeteria/bar at an ice skating facility. It's not a standalone pub or restaurant. So, if you're dropping by for a free skate session, or if you have a kid enrolled in one of the hockey or skating classes, it's perfectly convenient to grab a bite afterwards without having to go somewhere else. Otherwise, skip. With that being said, the food here is actually quite good, but it's a bit more expensive than you'd expect - again, it's the in-house cafeteria/bar at an ice skating facility, and it ought to be priced that way.“
“Gulp is a nice lunch getaway in Playa Vista with both inside and outside seating. The staff is very attentive and brought water without even asking. I order the nachos and they were FULL! No shortage of ingredients or chicken on the nachos. The chips were crispy and easy to scoop a good amount of toppings without breaking. Unfortunately I didn't grab any photos because I ordered togo, however this restaurant is a gem.“
“Went on a Saturday night for the first time. There was a DJ that had the music and dance floor on point. One pool table but everyone seemed good in coordinating next games. Friendly atmosphere. TV’s around that showed videos of the music being played. Drinks are on point-try the Blueberry Muffin.Parking: There’s a parking lot adjacent to the bar.“
“My first introduction to Bac Street was walking from my house to Thirsty Club and I was a regular until my last interaction... anyway, Bac Street is closer to me than Thirsty or Paddy's but it closed down for a long while due to pandemic. They're open now and just as neighborhood friendly as before. The only reason I'm giving 4 in lieu of 5 stars is because they don't have any snacks. No pretzels, chips or nuts. So come FULL.“
“Came here to celebrate a few birthdays with family. I do not play golf, however, I had so much fun. We ordered a few snacks and even had a birthday surprise.Golf clubs are provided, you can also bring your own. My nephew helped me out with a few tips and I did hit a few better than I thought I would.A great time was had by all! Service was great, friendly and personable.“
“AMAZING!!! The service was top tier! The entire staff from the host, to the busser, and the servers were all SO NICE! I think this has been the best service I've ever received, hands down. The menu was simple, and the food was delicious! The portions were humongous! Its mostly outside seating with an inside bar. Its sort of next to the beach which really adds to the ambiance. My family and I were more than satisfied! This place really rocks!“
“I had a great experience at your bar & grill up until a belligerent guest disrupted me & all of your innocent patronsHis name is “We the People”He frequents your establishment for low costing ribeye & coors lightPlease contact me for full description so you may ban him for his actionsOtherwise, your establishment is top notch“
“The patio is large and has a great view of the marina. The food is on the whole very tasty, but overpriced. Favorites were the clam chowder and beet salad. Most disappointing was the blackened mahi-mahi, they only blackened one side so was not very tasty“
“Awesome bar with super friendly staff and guests and delicious food! They also have darts, a jukebox and a pool table with plenty of room around it. Huge outdoor smoking area too for smokers/vapers. A real local treasure!! Did I mention drinks are very affordable land food is too!“
“This is a hybrid dive bar that has some amazing staff and jukebox play. It’s hybrid because it has a pizza shop next door that has really amazing pizza. They don’t have food but easily accessible. The Guinness is outstanding; clean lines and ice cold. They have jukebox you can DJ and Liz and Kanna were really gracious hosts for us. We stayed at the Best Western nearby and used this as our staging point before our cruise. It’s a really cool local with very nice people.“
“Good long happy hour specials. Bartenders are friendly and good at their job. Locals can be easy to make conversations with. Wish a bit more variety of people, def a neighborhood joint. Never gets super busy in the times I've been. Glad to be close by.“
“This was the first place I came once I hit my grand 21. I absolutely love it. Diana is a sweetheart, she treats you like family, I've been coming here almost a year now. I'm on a first name basis with most of the bartenders, they're all great, I absolutely feel welcomed and valued here. I try to come here at least once a month, I love the ambiance here. The patrons here are always friendly and welcoming ❤ They're the best of the best here. 10/10 recommend. They're very hospitable here, they'll never let your cup go empty, the servers are on the ball here. If you want to have a great night and make good memories, come to Froggy's Bar and Grill.“
“First time there, Played, & helped host a Rock & Metal show!! .... Great Resturant, Bar, & venue. They serve some dank Hawaiian food, biggest, wings I've seen at any place. Bar Girls were great!! And they provided excellent service!!! Thank you to all who made 3/11/23 such a great time !!!!! We will definitely be back!!!“
“Visited with my wife and my son on a weekday, the place was busy, surprisingly the service was impeccable and the Food was delicious! The restaurant manager "Frankie" came to our table to chat with us, we felt very welcome and will come back again for drinks and some nice burgers! We Highly recommend“
“It was packed, but they got us in within 15 minutes. Food was out within minutes. I gotta say, the Malibu burger was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Our server, Nitzia, was sweet, attentive and overall an amazing server. Great prices and Perfect for a family meal.“
“My new favorite bar. The service was great, Spencer helped us feel taken care of and made sure we had everything necessary to have a good night. Food is exquisite with many options for those with allergies. Prices make sense for being right on the pier. We will be back for more. Thank you Malloys staff!“
