“Me and my wife went here as a last-minute anniversary meal. We didn't book but managed to get a place at the bar to eat. The service and food were excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I'd recommend the short rib beef to anyone that cared to listen. We sloped into the Old Man bar afterward for a final cocktail to finish the night. Drinks are a little pricey, if I'm honest, but the quality was there in abundance. I can't wait to go again.“

“Our waiter was friendly and fantastic. The venue itself is very cool. But cool in temperature too. The whole front of the place is open with no wall and we had to keep our jackets on the whole time. “One of the best dining experiences that we've had so far! The restaurant is a smaller more intimate restaurant but had a very nice clean esthetic. My favorite of the meal was the spincione focaccia bread, stuffed squash (fiori di zucca), and the orrechiette pasta. Our server was very knowledgeable of the entire menu and guided us on how much to order. We ended up getting a round of drinks, 7 plates of food, and 2 desserts and the bill came out to ~$400 for our party of 4. Well worth the value of food we got and everyone felt perfectly satisfied after dinner. The food was so delicious, I can see why this place is so popular. We will definitely be visiting again.“

“I'm looking forward to my next stop at MB Post. I had a reservation for 3 at 7:15 on a Saturday night. We arrived a little early, checked in and waited at the bar for our table. The bar was crowded and the staff busy but our drink order was taken quickly. Cocktails were delicious, #Blessed will be my go-to here. It took a bit longer to get our drinks than we had anticipated. We waited for our table about 20 minutes beyond the time of our reservation and we had to circle back to the host to inquire how much longer before we would be seated. Our table was in the corner next to the kitchen and a service nook, loud and busy; next time I'll make a note to request a table away from the kitchen. It's a boisterous restaurant and the corner amplified the energy. We ordered the carrots, gnocchi, green beans and biscuits---all were incredibly delicious with the green beans being our favorite. Our server was prompt, courteous, food arrived without a long delay. We enjoyed Lola cab sauv with dinner. I gave the 4 stars for the service at the bar our need to check on our table. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back.“

“Arthur J has been the staple go-to restaurant for me and my husband everytime we celebrate a new promotion, new job, raise, etc. We always invite out another couple to dine with us to celebrate, and the past two times (including tonight) was a bit of a disappointment. We have always ordered the tomahawk steak the past 4-5 times we've dined here, and tonight it was so fatty that there were probably only 16 oz of edible meat... from a 40oz steak. I know the bone is included in the weight, but I really could not see this Tomahawk feeding two people. I wish I had taken a photo of the Tomahawk because I really couldn't believe how small it looked. One of the entire end pieces was pure fat. Literally maybe a tiny sliver of meat (think like the size of a dime) on a 3x3" piece of fat. I did a brief perusal of the Yelp photos of the Arthur J Tomahawk to check my recollection of previous versions of the Tomahawk we had and yeah, the piece we got tonight did not look like anything from the Yelp photos or from our previous experiences. I rarely update Yelp reviews, but tonight's experience was just such a steep, stark contrast to the first time we dined here so many years ago. The first time we dined here, we ordered the Tomahawk and the manager came out and said the chef overcooked it, so he was embarrassed and refused to serve it so he let us choose anything else on the menu for free. Our party was shocked, we hadn't asked for any freebies. But that experience has always stuck out because it showed us how much Arthur J valued the quality of their product and service. In stark contrast to that first experience, I just can't believe how far downhill the standards have gone. I never like to just completely overlook the good parts in a review so here's the good: service was friendly albeit slightly slow, sides were good- especially the beef fat fries. I also like being able to pay the check on my phone.“

“This restaurant is fabulous, from the stunning decor to the amazing food. We went for a birthday dinner and sat in the back dining room near the fire. Our server, Makayla, was top notch. We ordered food for the table including an incredible filet, ribeye, and the sea bass was over the top amazing. The owner, Alex, even came over and wished me happy birthday. The entire experience was a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!“

“We've enjoyed Rossoblu, so expected good things form Superfina but took us a while to try it. The menu doesn't seem too inventive--fried calamari, little gem Caesar salad -- all the mandatory California-Italian offerings. Still, everything we had was wonderful. The calamari were perfect--so good that we barely tried a fiery red dipping sauce that accompanied it. The farro salad was a bowl of simplicity and uniqueness--the arugula, carrots and radishes were very fresh tasting with a vinaigrette that let us taste the vegetables. I had the lamb pasta while my companion had the clam pasta. We loved our own dish but would have been happy trading as well because they were both fantastic. The lamb was extremely tender, the pasta al dente and carried the flavor through and through. The service was fast and cordial, which should be expected on a early Sunday evening when the place wasn't very busy. While a little too expensive to become a frequent regular at Superfina, it is still worth a return trip or three.“

“Visited venice beach for the first time and ate here twice. The service is excellent, you sit well inside and outside (the patio) and the food is delicious! Although there were some vacant tables for walk-ins when we arrived. So many 'fun' margaritas on the menu and I had the completely satisfying skinny-marg with zero guilt. My BF had a classic and liked it enough to have a second one. For food we went with:Classic Esquitos (Mexican corn cut off the cob, with spice, cheese and just loads of flavor). Rainbow Carrots were delish. There were roasted carrots, pureed carrots and diced marinated raw carrots. Absolutely ordering these next time. Fish Tacos. Best thing was each taco had a nice size piece of fish, not just fish scraps. It was a bit too salty but an extra squeeze of lime offset the salt. Carne Asada Plate. Salt at first bite was so overwhelming we had to ask if there was something wrong. The staff was more than helpful, offering to remake it with no added salt or take it off the bill and let us order something else. Ultimately we decided to let them remake it with no added salt, they did tell us the steak was pre-marinated. It tasted significantly better without extra seasoning. Service was 11/10 both servers went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased with our dinner. Next time I'm definitely getting one of their specialty margaritas and nachos!“
