“This restaurant is fantastic!!!The food is always great.. full portions and reasonably priced... the Della Casa salad is our favorite.. which has both heats of palm and artichoke hearts and a wonderful light dressing... all pastas are great... we had the sea bass which was fresh and was served with veggies and potatoes. Love this restaurant and when the weather gets better the outdoor patio is fantastic.. 1/2 a block in from the beach... Excellent service and atmosphere.“
“I have been several times now. I live in the area. Best espresso in Hermosa/Manhattan area. Today I got the cortado with a savory Danish. It is a neighborhood establishment. In the neighborhood. It is a small local business where you can chat with the barista. Great spot to stop on a bike ride on the strand. You can see the ocean from some of the seating.“
“Tive uma experiência maravilhosa no Oakberry de Hermosa. O atendimento foi incrível, an Alex nos recebeu de forma muito acolhedora e simpática, explicou tudo sobre o açaí. Ela também compartilhou suas dicas de toppings favoritos, que foram um grande sucesso. O açaí estava delicioso, e a equipe foi super atenciosa. Definitivamente, um lugar para voltar!“
“I had a great experience eating at good stuff. Staffs are friendly and fast service. Antonio was my server, he did a great job. He is friendly as well. Food is delicious and place is clean too.Parking: I parked in the street. No problem looking for parking in the morning.“
“Just had some beers here, but what a great place. Stopped in for some beers after doing some biking along the beach. Microbrew places can be hit or miss, and this place was fabulous. The beers were great. IPAs as well as a wheat beer with a hint of tangerine zest. The servers (TJ & Steven) were awesome. They made us feel right at home and took great care of us. Top notch service. And they offer outdoor seating along the sidewalk. Inside had a cool vibe as well. Definite place to return on future visit to LA area. Great Job guys!“
“Thankfully, this coffee shop location still accepts cash. The clowns in Marina del Rey do not. They should know better, but instead they choose convenience and sell us out to a potential social credit score system, leveraged by money and judgment placed upon your spending. Judgment from unelected individuals.Honor and show preference for businesses that accept cash. Avoid the ones that do not.Use it or lose it. That applies to sovereignty as well as cash.“
“My husband and I had a great experience at Bonaparte Bistro! It's a lovely restaurant with a nice ambience. We had the trout and branzino dishes. Both were delicious and we also enjoyed the potatoes, Brussel sprouts and sautéed spinach as the side dishes. Brooke, our server, was very friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and provided great customer service! We enjoyed ourselves and will be back soon!“
“Good food. Good menu. Brought a couple friends, we had the Greek omelette, the guacamole omelette, and a breakfast burrito. All great. Biscuits were great but my burrito friend ate half of them. Potatoes are the russet variety, nit my thing, but, they cooked them properly. Service was good and friendly. Enjoyed the vibe and the decor. We took a moment after lunch to peruse the 1940s era posters and newspapers on the walls. Interesting. We will be back again“
“Very nice elegant restaurant I really loved the vibe and how once you enter you go up the stairs to a totally chill vibe with a view ! very discreet . The service was fast and the food was tasty and well cooked I came after walking out of Coastal up the street. The server at Radici was great and focused.“
“The fact that Java Man doesn’t have 30 thousand five star reviews is astounding. This is your quintessential, local hometown coffee shop. Amazing coffee drinks. Amazing food (fresh every morning from Ocean Diner). And the guys are the best!!!“
“I got there just before the dinner rush. The outside tables were filling up, and the bar was full. Great Service. The most amazing food. They gave complimentary homemade flour tortillas, butter, red salsa, and green avocado salsa. Wow best tortillas I ever had. Then finish off with the three most flavorful De Filet Mignon Tacos that just melted in my mouth. The meat is very tender, and the flavors are like a bite of heaven with every bite. JD the GM runs the place very well.“
“My new favorite bar. The service was great, Spencer helped us feel taken care of and made sure we had everything necessary to have a good night. Food is exquisite with many options for those with allergies. Prices make sense for being right on the pier. We will be back for more. Thank you Malloys staff!“
“Great ambiance, food, and service. Love the live music, and the bartenders are engaging and attentive. Also doesn’t hurt that they’re hot ;)Highly recommend their Espresso Martini - best I’ve had in LA -and that’s saying something.Parking: Parking across the street at lot.“
“What can I say other than Chef Melba's is absolutely incredible. We had a fantastic dinner there on Friday evening and shut the restaurant down. the food, the service, the camaraderie, the quaintness, the intimacy of the space is just on matched. . Also, the phenomenal food and a very personal experience as chef Melba comes to your table and makes sure you're satisfied with the meal. John, who is the head waiter? Make sure that we lack Nord need of anything as we were considered v. I p's. We have a special drink at the end of our experience.“
“I was sort of skeptical of this type of restaurant going into that location but we have been really pleased. Food is excellent and well priced, good coffee, a lot of seating with nice ambiance. For counter service type breakfast, this is my favorite in the area.“
“Today I went with my family to have some pizza. This was the first time. We really enjoyed the quality of the food, fresh ingredients, very polite staff and very clean place. Almost new floor, good repair and atmosphere. We will come again.“
“TLDR: Small, hip, relaxed outdoor meet up juice/açaí spot with healthy options for everyone- especially Vegans.Reason: mutual meet spot/contact point to meet up with family.Space: it’s small! Very casual. They’ve made it a cute slice of a private paradise with the plants, faux and barriers from the beach breeze. Easy walk from the pier. Not a ton of seating, available.I would not recommend this spot for digital working too much light and I didn’t see anyMenu: Juices, smoothies, and bowls! Great for vegans. You can edit what you’d like as well. I believe toppings are extra.Taste: AMAZING. I was SO satisfied with my order. My experience: the gal working was very sweet and did make an error on my order. I ordered Peanut butter wave bowl and she gave me a Hawaii bowl, but was convinced I ordered the bowl Hawaii. At first didn’t seem to want to help with that, but changed her tune quickly…and for that I go back to 5 stars!Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“really solid burgers & tots it wasn't quite as smashed as i would prefer, (or as smashed as it was the first time i went) resulting in a bit of a thicker undercook but still tasty. close to the beach. street parking can be a bit tough but you'll figure it out“
“Needed a little thank-you gift for our neighbor, who has a doggo. Wanted to take some tasty and high quality treats over and found Ka Huelo Bakery. The owner is extremely knowledgable about all of her handmade products. The store is super clean and her all-natural, preservative-free dog treats were the perfect gift. Thank you!“
“I've been here 3 times now, and Wow, just wow.The food is delicious, the prices aren't ridiculous, service has always been very friendly, and the little venue is a vibe. So look around when you're sitting down and enjoy the ambiance. What more is there to ask?I literally started a Google maps list of "THE(my favorite) Restaurants" that I recommend to people just because I liked everything this place had to offer so much. For those who like eel rolls... The Dungeons and Dragons roll.... ✨Chef's kiss✨I've always gone and just shared among the table family style so the bill is probably a little higher for my groups, but like I said I was impressed. They've also got some good hot sake.“
“Went for lunch and sat outside. The outdoor tables were super comfortable and it’s a lovely area to sit. We got the lunch sandwiches with mac salad and the portion was huge!!! Sandwiches were great and for such a good price. Definitely could share one with two people. Only issue was it was a little confusing between ordering online and with the bartender, but service was good!“
“I generally order Uber eats for my mom and have it delivered, but today, not only had her order delivered, but on the way home, I stopped with my wife and had lunch at the Yellow Vase in Rolling Hills. My wife had the Turkey Club Panini, and I had the California Omelet. My wife had a cappuccino, and I had a black coffee and OJ. The place is quaint and pleasant and the staff is very kind and professional.Recommended.“
“My husband and I recently visited Hermosa and before leaving scouted out a few restaurants. When we came across Brews Hall, we new we'd have to give it a try based on the menu! When we arrived, we were greeted quickly and asked if we wanted to sit on the patio or inside. We choose the patio and were immediately seated. Our server came by quickly to take our drink order. Drinks were quick to arrive as was the food. Our serve was Ritchie and he checked on us multiple times to see how the food was and if we needed anything. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! We got "The Twist" as I love soft pretzels. We opted for the beer cheese with it and it was a perfect complement to the pretzel. My husband got the shrimp burrito and I got the fried sea bass tacos, both equally good. It's honestly one of the best meals we've had out in awhile and we'll be back any time we're in town!“
“This is a popular place near the beach, I strongly recommend calling ahead to see if there is a wait. The staff are super friendly, they appear to genuinely be happy to be there. They had a decent variety in selection and I think they could have been a little more generous in portions.I had the lobster Mac and cheese . It was creamy, covered with crunchy bread crumbs. That was a decent serving. I had a poke bowl that was full of different flavors, that could have been bigger.Just a heads up, this is not a quiet place. It was a Saturday night when we were here, but it was loud.Overall not a bad place, would come back.“
“Scrumptious lunch just steps away from the beach. Kate, our waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. Always with a smile. The menu has a nice array of choices and the portions are large. I recommend this establishment to anyone.Vegetarian options: I had and thoroughly enjoyed the grain Bowl.“
“I hang out here when my fiancé is at his golf lesson ? Great coffee and friendly people. Strong WiFi! Everyone who comes in seems to be in a great mood and the banter between customers and staff is cute.Parking: Parking lot behind the cafe“
“Traveling from Aotearoa | New Zealand, we have been on the look out for good quality, well made coffee. Very happy to say you will find that at this cafe! We had an oat milk cortado and an americano and both were YUM. The veggie breakfast croissant was also incredible. Highly recommend this cafe :)Vegetarian options: Veggie breakfast sandwiches and two GF bakery options“
“Fun and unique restaurant. It has great staff, and a lot of delicious choices on the menu. I've been here a number of times with groups, and we've always enjoyed selecting dishes, enjoying the food, and spending time talking under the attention of their friendly service.“
“An absolute gem nestled in Hermosa Beach! The seafood at Playa Hermosa is beyond compare – from the succulent oysters to the perfectly seared scallops and the delectable fish and chips, every dish was a culinary delight. The Albacore Sashimi was a personal favorite, bursting with freshness and flavor. But what truly elevated the experience was the breathtaking view of the pier from their patio. As we indulged in our meal, we were treated to the mesmerizing sight and the vibrant energy of people strolling by. A perfect harmony of delectable cuisine and scenic beauty, making every moment an unforgettable one. Can't wait to return!“
“I was looking for a burrito place near the water and this is the perfect hole in the wall. The food was delicious and an amazing place. The staff is really amazing. The food was quickly made, to the area is amazing. Beautiful area and I'll be coming back when I'm in town! 10/10“
“This is a nice place to have a cup of coffee and hangout outside. I would not sit inside as the refrigeration system makes a lot of noise this adds to all the blending and grinding noise to make these yummy drinks. But why would one want to hangout inside anyway?“
“Sweet little café along the popular Hermosa pier. Good pastries and super yummy drinks. I got the Mexican spice hot cocoa and it was super delish. We went early morning and it was misty out. We sat outside. It was a beautiful morning. Super nice staff.“
“The good:I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! I tried an ice cream sandwich here and thought it was enjoyable. It's interesting how you can get two different types of cookies for the sandwich. The location is prime because it's located right off Hermosa Beach pier. It's a great stop to get dessert that you can enjoy along the beach. For my cookies I got cookies and cream (Oreo cheesecake flavored) and cookie of the month (I cannot recall what flavor this was). I got blackberry crumble as the ice cream. They have vegan ice cream options. The flavors are mostly classic. You can add toppings and get your cookies hot pressed. The bad:The cookie was smaller than I expected and the sandwich didn't hold its shape. You don't eat it like an ice cream cookie sandwich. Instead, they serve it on a paper plate with a spoon. It's pricey. The interesting:They have locations throughout the US. You can order in advance online.“
“Met up with a big group of friends here for a mini reunion. Plenty of seating for us. Our waitress was super friendly, accommodating and attentive as was the bartender. We order all sorts of foods - chicken sandwich, fries sampler, chicken fingers, steak dip sandwich, salad, cheeseburger, etc. Good bar food. Hennessey's lemonade was a yummy cocktail.“
“O.g, I don't know if it was the drinks or what, they were a drink, like everywhere else, but I flew 86 flight last year and all I can say is this was perfection ? atmosphere, seating and staff. 5 stars across the board from me.. I only have just shy of 2 million on my interactions;) doesn't mean I'm great but I love to go to great places and this one is in the top:))))#notpaidbutwouldntbeagainstit“
“I have always liked this place in Hermosa. Great food. Not too worried about the prices. But since the rebrand you never know if its open or not. The hours posted are wrong and they arent open for lunch most days. Food is great. Sangria is .“
“Had amazing brunch this morning at Rockefeller in Hermosa Beach. Dog friendly patio was a huge plus! Our host/server Kelly was simply amazing. She provided fast, friendly, and very attentive service. We shared the egg rolls and the breakfast burrito. Both were simply fire! The mochas with almond milk are to die for. The Bloody Mary and peach mimosa hit the spot after brunch. We will DEFINITELY be back and we hope Kelly is there!“
“We are coming here for brunch from out of town you do need a reservation to eat here but overall great service nice music I would recommend the Hong Kong French toast and the milk bread the food came out relatively fast by the way I’m 11.“
