We just happened to drive by. We like sake so we figured we would see if they had a tasting room. We felt a little weird going in because it seems like it's set up for semi trucks, but don't let that deter you!! They have an office so we stopped in to see if there were tours we could take or a tasting room. This is one of the best rice wine. I use it to replace original cooking wine that sells in many Asian supermarket. This sake gives perfect favor to all kind of foods, especially meats.
Yes, Ozeki is a cheap sake that you typically get at a Japanese restaurant, served as a hot sake (i.e. atsukan). HOWEVER, what an epiphany after talking to Ozeki staff and sampling their most basic sake that was poured -- it was GOOOOOD. Served at a room temperature, this sake that is sometimes sold as cheap as $5 per 1.8L, was very rich and flavorful.
