“We drove 2 hours to meet friends driving down from LA. We all thought it well worth the effort. Food was really good, from fish and chips, Mahi Mahi and Chioppino. I would definitely go there again.“

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. Wish to have stayed and chatted longer but had to road trip back home. We will still be coming back as often as we can. WE LOVE POCKET BURGER!! ❤️“

She asked to help me so I started giving my order, and she's smiling, sais it's a beautiful day outside, asked me how my family was doing, gave me a very welcoming feeling. Her smiles and niceness, really turned my day around. She started conversation with me very down to earth and humble. The chorizo and avocado breakfast burrito is my favorite—it’s flavorful and really well-made. They’re also pretty quick, which is great when you’re short on time.

“I have been going to this place since it opened as DeSpyros Cafe over 15 years ago. It is an HB staple. I went to Ocean View High School and it was always a good place to eat on the way home. They have classic CA diner fare and delicious burgers and crispy fries. Highly recommend.

“Hands down the best Philly cheesesteak on the west coast, I’ve had cheesesteak on the east coast and the west coast and in my humble opinion Johnny's Philly grill is on par with what you get in Philadelphia and that’s really saying something. We have eaten here many times and will continue to do so. We ordered from here on superbowl Sunday since we are Philadelphia eagles fans.. Go birds! It was extremely busy and they had hundreds of orders called in but they still had ours ready on time and they were phenomenal as usual. It doesn’t matter how busy they are, the food is top notch every single time. Just writing this review made me crave a Philly so I know where I’m eating tonight. I haven’t tried all of the locations but based on the overall experience while eating at the beach blvd location, I’m sure they are all on point. I’m so glad I found this place, even my super picky 15 year old loves it and that’s impressive. I can’t wait to go back after work.

Parking: It’s not the biggest lot but I have never had a problem parking even when they are busy. If I had to park on the street and walk I would still go. The food is that good

“The young man at the register was sweet and helpful and answered our questions both about food ingredients and pro and also about the surrounding area and things to do. The restaurant itself was the cleanest fast food place I’ve ever been in including the restrooms! Our food was hot and fresh. The buns were soft and tasty and did not fall apart, the burger had a delicious charbroiled taste and aroma. I ordered the hash rounds which crispy and hot just the way I like them. The soda from the self serve fountain was just perfect. I would definitely come here again!“

“This is a fun place to go
The food is good. We had the lobster mac n cheese. No real complaints, it was just ok. Also had the patty melt which was pretty much just basic. The server was friendly but seemed to be a bit short handed. Open area and accomodating staff, tvs on the walls. I judge based upon mac n cheese, so might try again some day.“

“I am not a morning person so today I had some organizing I had to do at my storage so I drove over to the Edwards and bolsa location. From fountain valley to "Jack in the Box "for one reason. they are the one and only place that still serves .a cup of coffee you can taste. It seems all the donut shops and other fast foods serve what they call a cup of coffee yet its just basically hot colored water very little coffee involved. So when you need a coffee you can feel try this place i think you will be quite happy with the. Quality and strength of there cup of coffee and you wont spend as much as you would have at Starbucks. Don t get me wrong Starbucks is my fave but. at this point in the pandemic. I chose my other less expensive choice. " Jack in the Box"“
