7 Best Indian Restaurants in Irvine

“Amazing flavor profile. Had the chicken korma burrito and masala tots. Both were solid on the portion for price. I love Indian food and this a good place to go without breaking the bank since it’s hard for me to pick one thing with a more traditional Indian place.

This is fusion at its best! If you’re interested you won’t be disappointed! I think this is also a good place to bring someone in who’s never had Indian food.

Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. I’m sad I forgot to grab some sauces.

“my fellow pregnant mama and I were craving Indian food and were delighted to find Annapoorna super close by. and they have an amazing lunch special, all you can eat buffet for $17/pp! you rarely find deals like this these days!

their buffet was STOCKED too, with salad and fresh fruit (watermelon), fresh crispy pakora and samosa, plain rice, biryani, tandoori chicken, all your sauces and raita, and at least 10 different curries including chicken tikka masala, goat curry, veggie korma, saag paneer, and so many more that I wish I could remember. they also have mango pudding and a delicious rice pudding and gulab jamun. they bring over baskets of fresh, hot garlicky naan that’s perfect crispy on the corners and soft and pillowing throughout, perfect for dragging through their delectable sauces. their curries were not too spicy (good for a pregnant palate!) but rich in flavor and full of delicious veggies and high quality meat. this was such a winner!! definitely adding this one to the regular roster.“

“I would strongly disagree with any negative reviews here - we catered from Vishnu Catering for our large Indian wedding the entire weekend and it was the best food we and many of our guests have ever had at a wedding! Ram was kind, helpful, professional, and incredibly reliable as a vendor - we never had to worry about anything going wrong with catering and he was easily one of our favorite and best vendors of the whole process. The food and drink was phenomenal across all events. We are still getting comments from guests, Indian and non-Indian, about how amazing the food was. We are so grateful we got to work with Ram and his team and we would cater again for any event big or small in a heartbeat!“
