“My wife and I won a gift certificate to this restaurant a few months ago, and decided recently to use it. WOW! We were stunned that we had never heard of this place before, especially given how frequently we eat out. We were so impressed by the cocktails and food that we have gone back 3 times in the last month. The whisk(e)y selection is world class and the creativity of Leo the bartender is definitely to be experienced! The service is polite, accommodating, and friendly. We are big fans of Alley (spelled phonetically). She is sunshine in a pretty package! If you like creative food or just a plain steak, this is The Place to eat! Enjoy!“

“A group birthday celebration attended by 10 people. Service could have been better even though there were supposed to be two waiters. Three 16oz. steaks were served. Two were perfect. The steak that my wife ( “the birthday girl”) and I shared was much thinner than the other two and cooked more than medium. Otherwise the other meals were very satisfactory. It took much too long for the waiters to come to our table and start servicing. We had not seen these waiters in the past.“

Service is great, staff is attentive to detail. They picked off the burned parts and refill the side dishes quickly when they are low or empty.

We are beyond sad to hear that this location is closing over the lease renewal with The Irvine Co. We hope that both parties can work this out. It would be a terrible loss if Eddie V's Newport Beach closes.“

“We had the chicken kabab, shawarma, hummus trio and falafel plate and all the things were fresh and delicious. I especially liked that everything was spiced and seasoned very well and the falafels were crispy outside and moist inside and very flavorful. Highly recommended

“We went in late, everything else was closed.
My GF was extremely hungry so they took a quick order of a taco first, ordered it and then came back for the order she received her Taco satisfied her hunger. Then the shared food came out, She ate 3/4 of that. She must have been hungry.
The waiter was extremely accommodating, repeated checkups on us.
Wonderful demeanor.
Told manager about our great experience and suggested a bonus for him. I also gave him an extra tip.“

We chose the meal that included soup or salad, entree and dessert for one price with upgrades Had way more delicious food than any of us could finish. Steaks done perfect. Celebrated a birthday, the manager called earlier in the day to find out the name and had a personalized menu for her The restaurant was beautiful and had a recent upgrade as everything looked new. ““My friend and I had a lovely time on Sunday evening at Bangalow to rewind and enjoy last few hours of the weekend. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive, friendly and polite. I especially enjoyed the wine that was suggested by our server. The only thing that made the evening feel a bit rushed was that every thing came on a fast pace, my bill arrived before I had chance to finished my dessert without asking, which made us feel like we should leave sooner than we wanted to. We started 7 and was out by 8 or 8:15 that I think is a bit too fast for a Sunday evening dinner.

“The brunch platter for 2 ( totally could feed 3) made the brunch such an experience. The brunch platter has everything you could want from the premium brunch options... but all in one. My favorite was the waffles and king crab legs. The waffles were so amazing but I'd recommend asking the server to bring a side of the blueberry cream and fruity pebbles to add on top- just a little if you know, you know hack. We order the veggie Florentine omelette as well and it was a great addition to the platter. The bacon has an amazing pepper crust on it- super thick and flavorful. Our oysters are west coast- small with a sweeter crisp finish 🤌🏻🤌🏻 amazing especially with the house dressings! The inside vibes are gorgeous and outside views are beautiful! Just book the brunch... it's so worth it! 😍😍😍 Our server was great too, can't remember her name unfortunately. The servers are always so nice“
