“My husband, toddler and I went here for an early lunch. We got there right when it opened and they were a little slow to get us set up. But the server was excellent and very professional. I got the Spa Water drink, it was very nice for a warm morning. We sat on the patio by the pool and my toddler was loud, no problems. The food was perfectly priced for the quality. I’d definitely come eat here again and may even consider staying at the hotel.“

Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

Service was pretty none existent since u order on a machine and then go uo can get your own food after the buzzer and tables we were able to find pretty well on a Sunday afternoon.

The prices are just right for the quality of the food and ingredients. I would give it a 10 out of 10, and we will definitely be coming back.“

“Pretty good ramen and sushi. Our group ordered the tonkotsu black and spicy miso ramen. Both were very flavorful and filling. We also order the salmon bento box and chicken katsu with curry. Both the bento boxes were good, but katsu seemed a little dry. It's better with the curry, but I wouldn't order it again. The sushi was great. We got the baked salmon roll and crunch fire roll. Both were fresh and delicious! I would come back to try the other ramen.“

“My daughter discovered Maldon’s a couple of months ago and loved it. Today it was her restaurant of choice for her birthday (four family members are gluten sensitive).

I can’t say enough good things about this place! We had the French onion soup, BLT, hamburger, Eggs Benedict, vegetable medley sandwich, Popovers and Cinnamon Rolls and wine. Everyone was exchanging bites with each other because it was all so good. It was so wonderful to be in an environment where I didn’t have to grill the staff on what was truly gf. The staff was attentive and friendly. Adam who was bartending was very engaging and sent over tastes of different drinks he was making. He’s the nephew of the owner and a fountain of information. He told us they have an exclusive proprietary flour that they use. Overall the service was not particularly fast; but it was Saturday and we were there to enjoy ourselves. The singing guitarist added to the charming ambiance.

“My husband and I came in on a Wednesday around 1pm to avoid the lunch rush. We ordered the original hainan chicken, hat yai chicken, and popcorn chicken. Order came out within 10 minutes. Everything was delicious, definitely enjoyed it best with the KMG sauce and the habanero which had a nice kick. The popcorn chicken was surprisingly very flavorful in the best way. It’s a unique flavor and unlike other popcorn chickens I’ve had. It tasted good with and without the sauce it came with and will definitely be something I’d crave and come back for. 11/10 :)“

“This restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and friendly which is evident from all interactions with every staff member. The food and service are excellent in every sense of the word. The bread and baklava were made fresh! The Turkish Delights were phenomenal. The owner and staff went to great lengths to make us feel comfortable and welcome, explaining the menu items in detail. We are so excited to have come across this gem!!! It is the type of culinary and cultural experience that my husband and I treasure. We will be coming again soon, both with and without friends! “Kuan Zhai Alley is a real deal Sichuan restaurant in Irvine, near the Spectrum. You know it is the real deal because they serve things that won't appeal to most Westerners; no Orange Chicken here.

What the do have are delicacies like Boiled Duck Blood, Tripe and Ham in Chili Broth, Boiled Frog in Special Spicy Sauce and Double Fried Pork Intestine.

But not everything is so exotic, but most of it is spicy. My favorites include Stir Fried Chicken with Mixed Chili Peppers, Boiled Spicy Hot Pot and any of the Spicy Dry Pot, which means they've been wok fried.

Cancel that trip to Chengdu, come here instead, you'll never know the difference.“

Appreciated curated selection of drinks (I went for my tried and true choice of wine, instead of those varieties of cocktails) and menu. Jessica, the server, was attentive, super friendly and great with menu recommendations. Had the arugula salad, filet, cooked to perfection, and coffee cake. “I didn't know Portobello katsu curry was a thing. Where has it been all my life? If you love portobello mushrooms like I do, I recommend trying the portobello katsu curry with rice.
I had originally ordered a portobello katsu sandwich. The cashier misunderstood me and brought out the Portobello katsu curry rice plate instead. Oopsy!!! I'm glad that he did, or I wouldn't know how this new dish that I tried for the first time would be so yummy!! He gave me a free iced green tea for bringing the wrong order. Filet Mignon for $38!!! The mashed potatoes could have been more buttery or flavorful in some other way., but the truffle Mac and cheese was fantastic! I was also happy that they had Caymus by the glass, which I cannot get pretty many places. The icing on the cake was my wife had the Chilean sea bass and compared it to mexico's & demolished the whole plate (which is rare)!!! Also, the Tar Tar was epic with a little spice (ask for more won tons).
