“Highly recommend the steak quesarito! Everything is so fresh and quick. I love the option for refried beans and the steak is really well-seasoned. Not fatty or too chewy.”
“Definitely the best popcorn chicken in all of IV! It's a returning favorite from my favorite boba place too: Mojo Cafe! Their thai tea is reallly good, and I don't even thai tea like that! Def a 5/5!”
“I wanted to see how they do their banh mi since I've never heard of an ahi tuna banh mi before but they definitely give plenty of ahi tuna (though you can't really see)! It doesn't taste like a regular banh mi but I didn't expect it to. The employees were really nice too. They could tell I was in a bit of a rush (I had a short break to grab food) and kept me updated on which order they were on. The restaurant itself is super cute and I would definitely go back to try more food!”
“Always epic cookies and confections in the heart of Isle Vista. Small hole in the wall and acceptable service, likely by local gauchos. Catch some delicious McConnells late night here.”
“I love açaí bowls and Oakberry definitely hits the spot! They use a standard base but then allow customization through various toppings. I love their peanut butter, goji berries, and banana combo. The bowls are delicious- I devour them! It's refreshing and filling. I really like the IV location too. It's a fun reason to visit my college roots and stroll around IV while eating an açaí bowl :) if you prefer to eat there, they do have indoor searing options and the spot is nicely decorated. Their staff are always friendly and helpful. They do not have dedicated parking, but there is a lot nearby you can pay to park at or look for street parking.”
“GOOD food! We used to go here a lot during Covid. Wonderful owners and staff. Great place to hang and enjoy good food. Parking on the street or in the back lot. Easy to get to. Reasonable prices. Cozy. You can order to go, eat inside or out. Counter help. Worth the drive from SB. Located in the heart of Isla Vista, near UCSB.”
“Swung by blenders after lunch for quick treat! I am lactose intolerant and the staff was very helpful with giving me recommendations for the fro-yo alternatives which was perfect. We waited less than 2 minutes after ordering to when we got our smoothies. Love blenders!!!”
“Whoever rate this restaurant underneath a 4 or 5 I suggest them to consult a medical professional for mental illnesses. The owners is from China and as a Chinese person myself, their food is the most bussing bussing shit I ever had in IV (maybe also sus bowl but they r overpriced) Although it's self serve, it's very authentic. Xi jingping approves.”
“Honestly I've been to other Vons chickens and for some reason it's not as good as this location. This location is clean, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. My favorite is the honey butter and soy garlic medium, 10/10 would recommend!”
“Stopped by with my daughter, a UCSB alum, as we drove through SB. She had to swing by Super Cuca's to get her favorite breakfast burrito. We were curious about what she had lived on during her days here. We thoroughly enjoyed the Rancheros Breakfast Burrito - just delicious and quite filling.I'm glad they have good food for the students.”
“This is specifically for and in recognition of Danni. I had a missing item from the Hollister location and called IV by accident. Danni went over and beyond and contacted the other store to arrange reorder and pick. Thank you Danni for exceptional service.”
“Love getting lunch here! There's a wide selection of items for a custom salad, and the price it pretty fair (for context, I'm used to Sweetgreen) for the size. You can also get the free daily bread option, and they have soups for an extra price; you can ask to sample them too. I never feel hungry after having one of their salads! My only complaint is that they're only open for 2 hours Mon-Fri :(Vegetarian options: Almist every option is vegan, but there are meat protein options. I'm not sure about the dressings, but I'd assume the oil/vinegar dressings are vegan and vegetarian.”
“I came to Mojos for the first time today and had an amazing experience. This is my first year living in IV, and usually I don't have a good experience at restaurants considering majority of the workers are students, they don't necessarily have the best customer service. Oh boy did Mojo prove me wrong. I think they have the best boba in town, and their pork belly bowl was one of the best meals I've had in a while. Seems like I'll be spending most of my time at IV here at this cafe. Relaxing environment, great food & snacks, amazing customer service--Does that not sound like the place that college students belong to? You haven't tried this place yet? What the hell are you doing... TRY IT NOW!”
“trevor has demonstrated above and beyond customer service. our pizza was a lil bit raw and he made it right! he offered us a whole new pizza on the house but we only needed it baked for a few minutes minutes, and he made it happen! also our beer pitcher was at the very end of the keg and he gave us a free pint to sip on while we waited for the bubbles to settle on our pitcher so it could be filled up. truly the textbook definition of fantastic customer service. thank you trevor! he is absolutely the best and deserves a raise. mr woodstock, please consider my review when promoting people. trev trev (the boy trevor) is the best server ive ever had, during my years of being served at woodstock. i will never go to pmh again.”
“We’ve been here a couple of times while visiting our daughter at UCSB. The burritos are so good, and large! The green salsa is delicious, and the variety of drinks are tempting. We’ve really appreciated the customer service as well.”
