“The Big Blue Bear is a quaint eatery with a really nice relaxed mountain atmosphere. Very nice ambiance and a great friendly, attentive, and welcoming staff. My friends had ice cream and I had a cherry turnover with ice tea. The turnover was great and the ice cream was Dreyers brand, which I personally like. We sat at a table and enjoyed our food. The mood was very calm and relaxing. My friends and I had a very pleasant time. Recommend you visit here for a snack. They also make cappuccinos and espressos, and the coffee is from whole bean ground in house.“

“Had a great lunch at the Dam Korner cafe in Lake Isabella Ca. Chrisy our waitress greeted us as we entered. It was busy, lots of locals and a few construction workers all were chowing down. A couple of TVs were playing off road racing. They have a chalk board with the daily specials. All the waitresses were friendly and busy they made sure your drinks were kept full. We ordered a BLT and a Patty Melt with fry's. It didn't take long before they were brought out. Both were served with ranch for dipping my Patty Melt was thick moist just the right amount of grilled onions and Swiss, generous amounts of fry's were lightly salted and excellent. My buddies BLT on lightly toasted sourdough didn't last long, thick bacon, it was impressive. The Dam Korner is a clean fun place to enjoy a delicious meal I was so hungry I forgot to get a shot of my dish Stop in you'll be glad you did“

“The food here was really good. Everything tasted homemade. I ordered an omelette, home fries and pancakes. The pancakes tasted great. The service was awesome. Our waitress, Christy Mae, was on point. It was a quaint little cafe with views of Lake Isabella. I would recommend it!“
