I appreciated that the cashier I talked to kindly and clearly repeated my order. I ordered the half-and-half meal: boneless kang jung and fried chicken with sweet & spicy sauce on the side. I also bought a side of coleslaw. The boneless kang jung had a deliciously sweet, savory, and spicy flavor with a few bits of chewy tteokbokki. I enjoyed how each piece took multiple bites to finish. My family also really liked the original Furai chicken. The seasoning and spices blended well to make the chicken a high-quality meal. Furai serves about 16 types of flavors, so next time, I'd order ones that taste more different for a half-and-half meal.Each box also came with a few potato wedges, but I found them not crispy enough for my liking. The kang jung box had jalapeños and pickled radish. The coleslaw side's small portion size, however, made buying it next time not worth it. My family agreed that it also tasted too salty. Complementing the order with baked french fries and rice made the meal feel complete. We didn't have any leftovers this time, but I felt really full. I don't have many comments about the ambience, but when I picked up my food, it looked cozy and clean without any customers. It even had an indoor air purifier, which I rarely see in restaurants. “I wish we would've come here earlier in the day! They close slightly early, but the service was amazing! They do have a bar with marinated meats, salad, and other sides. I personally think their pricing is amazing too ($27 per person for all you can eat KBBQ baby). We got several orders of the brisket and I love the beef bulgogi. Since we did arrive later than normal, they didn't have their bar fully stocked with meat and sides. Even though we did come late, they still served us with smiles and kindness. My suggestion is to actually have customers walk the line vs order at a kiosk and then wait for your number. Ultimately I feel like the wait will be similar and it's visually appealing to the customer knowing the last piece is just to pay and you'll enjoy your food. Prices were reasonable however you get more veggies vs. meat. The favor is ultimately top tier. I prefer my bulgogi to be with a slight char but this was authentic (i think) The banchan (not pictured) was fresh and so good! The spicy cucumber and fish cakes are my favorite! I can eat those with white rice and be done! This place needs all the flowers because it is unique in its own way and very good. “The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“

We happen to come on a Friday night a little after they open and luckily it wasn't busy just yet. The service was really fast and the quality of the meat was amazing! The cheese tonkatsu was a bit heavier so by the time we finished grilling our meats and eating some of the udon, we were too full to finish the cheese tonkatsu. The creamy udon is a beef curry udon with a topped layer of this special cream that has this grainy texture similar to mashed potatoes. It was good to try, but I wouldn't get it again. I'll probably try the other noodles that they offer. I really enjoyed the concept of grilling the meat in front of you to your liking. It comes as a set so it was a perfect meal. The wings still maintained some crisp despite the sauce, and the sauce wasn't too overpowering. The Cole slaw was one of the best I've ever had. Corn cheese had maybe onion or some sort of spice cooked along with it that gave it a unique flavor and some dimension. Will be coming back!“
