“I'm munching on their Crispy Ban Ban chicken with signature sauce as I type this. First time here tonight and Kayla took care of me. The options are many and I was too hungry to make any decisions so I just asked her to hook me up, and she did not disappoint!! Wish I knew of this place sooner, I'll be coming back over and over. Thanks Kayla“
“Picked up dinner for hubby. For a chain fast food restaurant it was consistent food wise. The gentlemen behind the counter were friendly.Vegetarian options: You can order just veggies or add Tofu to the mealKid-friendliness: Smaller portion available for kidlets“
“Nice little gem we recently found. Place was clean & inviting and one of the cooks did a great job explaining the menu to us. We ordered the cheese Katsu meals and the portions are perfect! Really enjoyed the salad and dressing that topped it. Bowl of miso and rice were the perfect touch to complete the meal. Cheese katsu was amazing and the food was hot and fresh and the service was great. Definitely going to put this on our list of "places to return to"“
“We came across this place on Yelp and let me just say we really enjoyed this kbbq! We've been to quite a few, but this has made it to the top of our list! The variety, and the semi buffet is greattttt! We usually don't like bulgogi from past experiences but they have a Hawaiian marinated bulgogi and it is amazing !!! We will forsure be returning, they also have a ramen option for a soup ... we'll definitely be back for that one! The service was great, they constantly came for a grill change and definitely helps out so we weren't constantly asking for one! 1000/10 recommend !“
“I came to hungry bull dog restaurant in diamond bar and it was soo good. I ordered a few dishes like the k style corn dog with pepper jack cheese and sausage, katsu with side of curry, bulgogi beef bulldog bowl, and lastly.. the kimchi fried rice. It was so much food and I loved eating inside their cute restaurant.“
“My husband and I tried dolsot bibimbob and gamjatang, and they were excellent!!! Service was great and very friendly. Ambiance is good very clean and well laid out. We're so glad we came and will definitely return regularly and will bring friends!!“
“The food was amazing and presented with a good value. I was most impressed by The Galbi-jjim as well as the banchan with the dotori muk or acorn jelly noodle. Very fresh meat, good portions for sharing. I loved the bright lights, colors, and the giftshop.Dietary restrictions: Please note that some of the soups have shellfish in addition to the listed ingredients.Parking: The parking lot is completely free behind the gas station and there won't be no problems.Kid-friendliness: Sharing is not a problem the kids also can share from the combo grill plates. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks are available to order.“
“Omma’s is solid for a quick bite. They’re always on point and will throw in the potato salad if you ask. This is a once a week visit for me and my family. If we don’t go in person at Ari Rang Tofu House, this is the place to go when we do takeout.“
“Was heading to The Habit Burger for dinner when stumbled across this place and decided to try it out. We ordered the tikkudak garlic soy tenders, Cole slaw and corn cheese. Everything was so good. The wings still maintained some crisp despite the sauce, and the sauce wasn't too overpowering. The Cole slaw was one of the best I've ever had. Corn cheese had maybe onion or some sort of spice cooked along with it that gave it a unique flavor and some dimension. Will be coming back!“
“As per....always fuegs...the galbi w/cheese. Muah!!! Can't go wrong. Also had tteok (rice cakish?) , potatoes , carrots, onions and a few other things lol. For 3 ADULTS lol we were full!. Also banchan was fire. Kimchi is on point for us. 2 other ones as well. Some kind of slightly spicy/sweet scallions and I think radish kimchi both were yum as well. We're definitely gonna get it hotter next time. We only got medium?!“
“On my way to Big Bear, we stopped by this restaurant. It's my first time having Korean BBQ and all I can say is that I am blown away! They give you side dishes that are delish, I really enjoyed this place and wish I lived closer to here! The service was outstanding even on a very busy night.“
“I'm a frequent visitor to this restaurant because I appreciate the quality of the food and the excellent value for the price. From the flavorful Angry Chicken to the delectable Kimchi Fried Rice, every dish I've tried has been delicious, with generous portion sizes.“
“This place was amazing. We came it with a group of 10, and we got set up with a table right away. They got our orders quickly, and then appetizers and food came out just as quick. However, the food was probably the best Korean fried chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce flavors were delicious, chicken was crunchy. Definitely have to try Korean BBQ , Lemon Pepper (dry), and the Sweet Chili Wings. Even the Bulgogi Pizza was great. Great little hole in the wall spot. Will have to come backWheelchair accessibility: It's a dive in location off the strip of the downtown location. Entrance is level with sidewalk, so wheelchair can roll right it, and there are a couple tables that can be set up with wheelchair seating. I can not vouch for the restroom as I did not check.“
“It's been 6 months since I came to America...I really wanted to eat soy sauce..Although it was recommended by many Koreans, I had never eaten it in Korea. It's on my tongue! I couldn't find the cold soybean paste. In the United States, you can't eat freshly made soy sauce. After becoming a fait accompliYongmunru arrived at the end of Susomun Gate without any expectations...Even though I visited at 1pm, it was crowded with people. It's just famous and the taste is so-so...?Half worried...half excitedOrdered [Ganjajang, Samseon Jjajang, Jjambbong, Kkanpung Shrimp, Green Onion Beef].As soon as I saw the amount of sauce and meat mixed into the soybean paste, my mouth watered! As I am from Gangsangdo, I was very disappointed that there were no eggs in the soy sauce.Other than that, it was a Chinese restaurant with a fantastic combination of sauce, vegetables, and meat. From now on, that damn thing from Ganjjajang! If you miss the taste of cold sauce and noodlesI definitely plan to go and eat there...If there was just one thing that was disappointing...If the noodle is a little thinnerWouldn't it have been a bit awkward? Yongmunru, which I thought was...It would be difficult to find this quality soybean paste in LA.Thank you for existing at Yongmunru. The combination of fried shrimp and sauce is so bad.In the other world, Reveru...You can't find it often in KoreaGreen onion beef is a must-have menu item at Chinese restaurants in the United States...Did the incense of the fire really bring hellfire?Crazy green onion beef that won't stop you from chopping with chopsticksYongmunru is not only good at Jjajang. It's a restaurant with amazing sides.I appoint you as the Gatmunru of the LA Ganjjajang world. This concludes Jjajang Diary.“
“Great coming back to our new fave KBBQ spot. Prefer it much more than Gen. Love the “butcher style” vibes and how they cook for you. Great cuts of meat!!! Gio, Calvin, Devin were great hosts. Super consistent across diff locations. Highly recommend this place.“
“Fun pocha in OC! Haus is our go to spot for a night out. The wait time can be hit or miss. They have a lot of tables so its usually not too bad. Service is always great and food is decent. They have a lot of cute decorations and even a photo booth with props. The servers are super nice and and they even have a label maker to make personalized soju bottles (not sure if they still have this)! They give a little boat of popcorn as a snack when you sit down. Our favorites to order are the watermelon and friend squid legs. The watermelon is super refreshing and balances out the greasiness of the squid. Great choice for a night out!“
“The food was delicious. We ordered the knife cut noodle soup and the spicy pork sizzler. Both were super fresh and you could taste the high quality ingredients! The bonchon were perfect too. Service from Ken to top it all off was excellent. Definitely coming back :)“
“Finally came on the recommendation of a K-Town Cowboy Buddy and happy I made it out! Solid Kbbq non-AYCE option in Rowland/Eastern SGV. Went with a college buddy and family and ordered the premium combo with mega galbi! More than enough meat for a party of 4 adults and 4 young kids! Solid value and great quality.“
“King Chang left an indelible mark with its exceptional service and culinary prowess. The dedication to customer satisfaction was evident from the moment we stepped in, even amidst the Saturday night rush. The servers went above and beyond, exhibiting attentiveness and kindness that elevated the entire dining experience. It's rare to find such a perfect balance of efficiency and warmth. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the large intestines, surpassing the small ones in both flavor and texture. The meticulous preparation showcased a culinary expertise that set King Chang apart. Each bite was a journey through rich and savory notes, leaving an undeniable impression. The smaller combo, designed for 2 to 3 people, proved to be ample, catering to varying appetites. The variety of Korean side dishes provided a delightful symphony of flavors, and the soybean paste stood out as a star among stars. Its depth of flavor added a distinctive touch to the meal. As a connoisseur of Korean cuisine, I can confidently say that King Chang serves the best intestines in town, a true gastronomic delight. I eagerly anticipate my return to savor more culinary treasures from their menu and to bask in the warmth of their impeccable service. King Chang is undoubtedly a gem in the realm of Korean dining, deserving of accolades for its outstanding offerings and commitment to culinary excellence.“
“The rose spicy rice cake is indeed very pasta-like, very fragrant and delicious?? The kimbap is very refreshing and small, but the portion is sufficient. The best thing is the sauce that comes with it. The mustard flavor is super refreshing, and I am amazed at one bite. My husband and I are both Love it ~ Recommend it~ The fried chicken is crispy and the sauce is rich, the portion is larger than other restaurants, overall it’s great value“
“After success with the jajiang noodles, I had to try the stall right next door. Inside the fantastic Hmart market, is Kazu Mori. I’d say Katsu is there specialty with pork and chicken. I had the pork tonkatsu with curry. Huge portions and so good. I actually thought I was a bit pricey bit after I saw the quality and portions, I reconsider. Also, not a Bricks and mortar saves a bit.I think the key is to get a bunch of people and order two or three items from each stall. The choice are fantastic.“
“Old place but I guess the ownership was changed 2 yrs ago. They serve very nice crispy donkatsu, not slim meat and serve Korean old fashioned cream soup. Not too long wait but Tasty Dinkatsu! Not too expensive but enough portion and nice sevice.“
“Hidden gem in Monrovia. If you're looking for some good Korean food in the 626, look no further! KBop is located in a small shopping plaza on Huntington Drive. I recently saw a food blogger on IG post about KBop and I had bookmarked them as a place to try.I've been tricked by IG reviews before, so I decided to do some homework on Yelp before trying it and the reviews were good. So, I placed my order via their website for pick up. I got food for me and my parents. The food was ready when I got there and the staff was friendly. Condiments and utensils were in the bag and ready to go. I ordered 3 KBop bowls with different proteins/rice for each person, an order of the KBop fries with the spicy pork and an a la carte order of the boneless wings (Soy Garlic). The bowls are huge and can pass for multiple meals. The chicken/beef was nicely flavored and very tender. The egg on KBop bowls didn't travel well - the yolk cooked all the way thru by the time I got back home. The fries also didn't travel well. The spicy pork had a nice kick to it, not too spicy, but just enough.A couple days later, my mom asked "Can you go get that Korean Chicken for dinner again?" She must've REALLY liked it to ask for it again. Can't say no to mom right? So this time around, I the 3 KBop bowls and 2 orders of the a la carte wings (Soy Garlic & the Sweet Chile). Both flavors are very good. Will be making this spot a regular on the rotation -“
“The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“
“Excellent service and great food! Had made a reservation for a large party, greeted us by name and tables were prepared with side dishes when we arrived. Waiter went above and beyond, was attentive and accommodating. Great quality food as well!“
“Actually really surprised at the quality of the food and how pleasant the service is. Definitely doesn't feel like a bar outside of the look and the music. Oddly enough, my kids love the whole Korean fried chicken and asked to eat it again lol. The bulgogi fries are fr fire though. We've also ordered the squid legs (which my kids love as well) and the seafood pasta which is a generous portion and pretty darn good.“
“Came down to Walnut to visit my family...and we were wondering what to eat .. In n out ? Happy wok? Casa Alvarez? McDonald's ? No more Colima Burger :( So I looked on yelp and scrolled down till I came upon Country Chicken & Taco Frank was nice and explained the menu... I would say pre order is best because it takes about 15-20 minutes ... they're delicious , we got the buffalo , garlic sauce, tacos , mozzarella sticks , Fries .. my family loved it all. Fed 5-6 people. Would go again.“
“Parking: Very easy even on a Saturday/ Sunday brunch day. I would say to come early to check in on their Yelp waitlist in case their place get's especially busy. If you order all these dishes with a group of 4 people, this will fill you up. Banana Latte: Tasted more of the latte than the banana. Gamberry Rose Pasta: Don't play with the spicy level. It's not death spicy but it's a bit like Shin Ramen spicy. Would not recommend this dish for my non tolerant spicy people. Pasta is wonderful though, sauce was like uni cream, there were bits of masago (tiny fish eggs) to add a nice texture, 2-3 regular shrimp and a jumbo shrimp in the dish. Beet Tataki Salad: Would highly recommend for anyone! The beef was cooked so well, medium rare on the inside and the outside sliced edges were really crispy! Salad was refreshingly and dressed well with their vinaigrette, tomato, and shredded cheese. Gambas: Not my favorite dish. The sliced bread was presented in the skillet so bottom portion of the bread was overly greasy. There was too much olive oil at the bottom of the pan than necessary. Toasted whole garlic and olives, I think the only redeemable feature of the dish would be the shrimp.“
“Dined here for lunch on Sunday, and I was so happy that my friends picked this restaurant! We started off with yukhoe (raw beef), a variety of pork dishes and seafood pancake. Everything tasted great, and staff members stopped by frequently to help us cook and enjoy the BBQ. It was crowded but we had no wait as we were there earlier for lunch.“
“They have so many yummy dishes here! Way more than expected at a cafe.Highlights of the menu:1. Mini hot pot: Mongolia lamb and Satay beef2. Pork belly skewers3. Lamb skewers4. Beef aorta skewers5. Spicy wonton6. Eel bibimbap7. Short rib with quail egg and tofu8. Stirred beef with quail egg and rice9. Beef bulgogiDrinks:10. Mango pomelo sago11. Oreo brulee matcha12. Mango coconut smoothie“
“BBQ Chicken in Rowland Heights is the best Korean fried chicken spot of all the franchises in the area! Their wings are so big, so juicy, and always served fresh out of the kitchen! I tried out this other chicken spot off Instagram that left me disappointed so I had to come here to properly fix my cravings. The cheesling fries are to die for! I also like how bb.q chicken has interesting flavors that other places don't offer such as their Gangnam style, Galbi, or secret sauce. Yes, their prices are a little higher than competitors but it's well worth it in my opinion. Come to bb.q Chicken Rowland Heights if you love chicken!20/25“
“We love Cham Sut Gol. The people are so nice!!!!! The quality of the beef was so nice and the bonchon were flavorful and they were always ready to refill it. Our eyes were hungrier than our bellies so we took quite a long time finishing dinner but the people never rushed us out. We will be coming back next time we need a kbbq fix.“
“This place definitely should have over 5 stars! Absolutely delicious and the service by Michelle was way over the top. She was very delightful and very helpful. And my girlfriend and I both had our meals that were way better than any average Korean restaurant. We really enjoyed our experience here and we highly recommend anyone to come try a very tasty Korean food with awesome service. Thank you!“
“A hidden gem in Diamond Bar!!! And they actually open until 10pm. For Diamond Bar standards that's pretty late. We love Tofu Bean - Diamond Bar. This Tofu Bean is owned by the same great owner of the Tofu Bean of Rowland Heights. Their Banchan (side dishes) are the best. The potato side dish and kimchi are my favorites. When you order a combination, the tofu soup is the same size as the regular tofu soup orders. Check them out - I highly recommend.“
“I got the Topokki and chicken plate. Both were really good. I've never had Topokki before, but this was a good first try. The lady in front was very friendly and explained what exactly the dishes were, I really appreciated that. Will definitely go again.“
“First is their spicy pork belly with cheese is their best dish. Don’t worry it’s more on the sweeter side than spicy for all my non spice humans. Next is their huge steamed egg. This is the largest pot of steamed eggs iver ever seen and they’re so fluffy and simple but delicious nonetheless. I also tried their Tteokbokki but I felt that the rice cakes were overcooked but I like that they had beef belly on top. Portions are large.“
“Came here on a rushed lunch. I came another time with a PLANNED and EAGER lunch. The food taste fresh. Their teriyaki bowl is a perfect proportion. It was sweet, tangy and perfectly dressed with crunchy lettuce. Good place to sit down and eat. I'll definitely return for many lunches.“
“K-Food's representative fried chicken restaurant Spacious, clean atmosphere and friendly staff...These days, everyone's food prices are rising, so I don't eat out much.Still, it's the ultimate Korean-style whole chicken. The other foods are also very delicious.Cold beer and chicken with friends.. will remain as a good memory.“
“Food was amazing, it was quiet and mostly empty when I went. There was a moment nearing the end of my meal when a Karen came in and sat herself, and started to hassle the server over mistranslation of words (from Japanese to English) so she yelled at them and stormed out. Either way, dinner and a show. And a complimentary miso soup would go back again for sure. Service 10/10“
“I highly recommend this restaurant! The Grilled Pork Ribs were outstanding! The quality of the vegetable dishes exceeded my expectations-fresh, crisp and tasty. When looking for a simple but delicious meal Fork Over Pork is the place to be!!! Customer service-stellar.“
“We have gone here a couple of times for their bossam which is on top of our list amongst the other bossam places within 10 miles around the area but we recently tried their marinated crab and I'll tell you now, it is top notch!! I would actually say it is the best we have had so far compared to the famous ones around the LA area. The only difference is you have to call in advance to order their marinated crab, usually 2 weeks, I believe, after the beginning of the month, making it extra special. This is a family owned business that says a lot about the place how each food they serve is from the heart. Give it a try. You'll probably come back over and over like us. Oh, and their side dishes are to die for!“
“Wow, Bonjuk and Bibimbap is awesome! My only regret is not knowing about this place sooner. I can see why it’s one of the most popular chains from Korea. The restaurant was clean and modern looking inside, and the food was phenomenal. It was a healthy, lighter option compared to some other spots in the area. Our server was also super nice.We ordered the mushroom + bulgogi bibimbap and seafood pancake. Both were absolutely delicious, and I look forward to coming back again soon. The chicken ginseng soup was also very healing and tasty! There was some dates, rice and green beans in it which was a nice touch.“
“Not AYCE but lots of side dishes including cheese corn, poached eggs, another egg dish, bean paste soup or kimchi stew. Very good and attentive service and excellent staff. The unmarinated beef was the best. The chadol was a little tough. But the rice paper, pickled radish, dipping sauce, and salad made the meal delicious.“
“Of course, it may be difficult to suit the tastes of many customers, but there are some side dishes that may not suit your taste. The anchovy flavor is too strong in tteokbokki.Soy sauce crab sauce is too sweet...Still, thank you for always making delicious side dishes.“
“I absolutely love this Korean tofu restaurant! The exceptional service makes every visit a delight. Even on weekends, the wait time is reasonable. The dishes consistently deliver on quality and flavor, making it a reliable go-to spot for a satisfying meal.“
“So many customers visiting to A Ri Rang Tofu House. I visited it for the first time with my family. The food tasted delicious, satisfying & happiness. My parents liked it alright but I liked it very much. As busy as always. Great service & the atmosphere looks perfect. So noisy. Great amount of parking inside the garage. My stomach can’t fit anymore because I ate the entire food. I should definitely come & take my friends for lunch & dinner.“
“It's good not your typical Korean BBQ. First, the prices are very reasonable. Enclosed but open air on the golf course, kind of like a large patio, so it does not get too smoky like a regular k-bbq restaurant. Banchan side dishes are good quality and well prepared, place is clean and airy. Excellent service, good quality meat, and larger than average portions for the price. Definitely worth a try if in the mood for Korean bbq!“
“We've eaten here numerous times over the past year. The food is consistently good and the service is always warm and friendly. Love their boneless sweet & spicy fried chicken, dukbokki, fried sweet potatoes and fried zucchini! Highly recommend this location!!“
“First visit today. First review: 5 of had lunch after church today. My friend picked this place and I was eager to try.PORK CUTLET. One of the best pork cutlets I've ever had! The pork cutlet was flakey and crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tasty on the insides. Tender, not tough. It's definitely one the 3 top dishes to order. So many different sauces. One of my favs. The most popular was the JOKBAL: Pork feet and hock slices. It's a large dish. Very unique. Must try with a large group (4 to 6 people.)And lastly 2 different soups. Galbitang: Beef short rib soup with glass noodles. The noodles were nice snd chewy. And the other one was the milky one. Also good on a cold day.The service staff spoke fluent Chinese and English. Interesting that I didnt hear any Korean spoken. Im sure the staff are multilingual at this Korean restaurant. Good service.Parking: Limitrd street parking on Baldwin, but plenty of free parking behind the restaurant.“
“The food is good and I recommend to go here with friends cause the food portions are pretty big. They also serve ice cream after, and the waiters/waitresses are very kind. One thing to keep in mind is that you're not allowed to bring outside drinks/food. The interior has a rusty yet cozy feel to it, and they play K-pop music on speakers even though it isn't that audible. This place is still enjoyable though.“
