“Ciccia Osteria is a gem of authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Barrio Logan. The chefs, Mario and Francesca, use recipes from Northern Italy and pair them with exquisite wines. They even bake their own panettone, a traditional Christmas cake. The restaurant has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with food made with love. However, parking can be tricky, so I recommend taking an Uber. They accept walk-ins, but make sure to dress warmly in winter, as they only have patio dining.The menu has a variety of dishes to suit every taste, but my personal favorite is the mushroom flan. It is creamy, savory, and simply delicious. I also enjoyed the milanese veal, which was tender and crispy. The smoky old-fashioned cocktail and the roccotta olive oil spread for the fresh bread were also amazing. And of course, I could not resist their lasagne, which was rich and satisfying.Ciccia Osteria is my new go-to place for Italian food in San Diego. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes. “The food here is so good! I was craving hot and sour soup one day and stumbled across Loving Hut on my Uber Eats app. I ordered their Royal Noodle soup which is not like hit and sour soup at all. Its an amazing slightly spicy and tangy broth with a ton of vegan meats. This soup is definitely a meal by itself! Today I ordered the garlic noodles with extra cha cha's and a cheese wonton appetizer. The sauce that came with the wontons is amazing just a little bit of sweet with a tang but not quite like any sweet and sour sauce I have had before. The garlic noodles were so good! Buttery, garlicky deliciousness! And I don't know what it is about the cha cha's but I could eat a ton of them as still want more! Another nice thing about Loving Hut is that the food is served up quick while still maintaining a wonderful presentation and high quality! I am glad that I decided to give Loving Hut a try some months ago and will continue to happily order from them often!“
“Most delicious corn dog I have ever consumed. Perfection. The cornbread batter was crispy and flavorful. I got the jalapeño popper combo (corn dog with a side, coleslaw). This hit all my nostalgia points, maybe not the coleslaw but corn dogs were a childhood fav.Vegan or not, you will enjoy. This was just good food. I am already planning my next visit.“

“Still great food but a much smaller menu in their new location. I haven't found a single menu item I wouldn't have again. A variety of vegan food items are available with quick service. The ONLY downside is the LOCATION with a small, cramped parking lot. Narrow parking slots with multiple businesses make parking a serious challenge. Only saw one handicap parking spot available.“
“What a charming spot! Visited on a leisurely Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. Ordering at the counter was a breeze, and then we chose our own cozy spot. The selection of kombucha on tap caught my eye, though they also offer beer and wine.We indulged in the Tokyo fries, bahn mi, and tom kah soup. Each dish arrived at the perfect temperature and bursting with flavor. The friendly service added to the delightful experience. I'd definitely come back for more!“

“I started going here when they first opened. My then husband & I had date night every friday night & we lived 2 blocks away. There are lots of great places to go in that area but soon Jyoti-Bihanga became our every friday night. We weren't vegetarians but we loved the food and neither one of us was big meat eaters. The food was SO GOOD and we loved that we could walk there & enjoyed the whole vibe,The people and the atmosphere was so nice also. We moved out far out to the back country in east county & still would go on date nights. Sadly we aren't together anymore but I still grab people now & then and say, HEY, you wanna go get some awesome food?? And so we go!! THE best vegetarian food in town!“
“Me and two friends came here a few weeks ago for dinner around 6:30 on a Saturday. There was a little line so we ended up having to wait about 20 minutes to get seated. The restaurant isn't too big but they have plenty of seats. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our friendly server who quickly took our order. I got the basil chicken and Tom yum soup. The soup was honestly lacking in flavor (I think some of the key elements must be non-vegan) but it was still good. I really liked the basil chicken it was so delicious and bursting with flavor. I would definitely come back here again - esp if I have a vegetarian/vegan friend with me!“
“my favorite restaurant of all time! the service is always impecable and it is the best food you can dream of for vegans and non vegans alike. they can cater to a wide range of allergies including (but not limited to) gluten free, nut free, and soy free. the wait staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the food and beverage selection and are so kind and helpful if you have any questions. the outdoor patio is beautiful with plants all around and the ambiance inside is lovely as well. my fiancé and i are having our wedding reception at donna jean and everybody at the restaurant has been so helpful every step of my planning. we are so excited to share our favorite restaurant with our friends and family. i would genuinely give 10 stars if i couldDietary restrictions: i can’t imagine a lot of dietary restrictions they are unable to accommodate.“
“Finally... a place to "treat yourself" without the regrets. Picked up a Tiramisu cake for Easter and it was a hit. Who doesn't over do it on holiday meals and forces the desert because you've already over indulged? But this was SO DELICIOUS and did not leave you with a sugar hangover. You also will feel very welcome and appreciated when you are there. Take my money!“

“Super cute health food store & deli thats been open since 1995. I love a good sandwich with fresh sprouts - and the sandwich here was delicious, fresh and was exactly what I love. The smoothies were yummy. We both really liked the tropical sunrise smoothie. The person that helped us was the owner I believe. He was very nice and happy to give supplement recommendations & info. They also have burgers, salads, wraps, soup, chili, coffee and teas. Will definitely be back to try other menu items.“

“So happy I was able to experience this lovely cafe. The gentleman behind the bar was there was so pleasant. He answered all of my questions and engaged with each customer in a such caring manner. For dinks they had coffee, regular kombucha, and hemp infused kombucha. (There were probably more options but that's what I saw)Both flavors of the hemp infused kombucha were delicious. That was my first time having hemp kombucha and it totally relaxed my mind and body. I ordered 2 Jamaican patties cabbage & tofu. I had to wait a while because they were being made fresh. When they came out both were so delicious they were seasoned, soft, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. My picky 5 year old loved the tofu patty. This is the best cafe I've ever been to. It's afrocentric, healthy, and everything is of the highest quality!“

“I'm not vegan, but we visited Kindred for brunch because one in our party was vegetarian and we figured this would be a good place to take him. We were able to get a reservation for window seating in advance, choices were standard table or window. The table at the window was a long communal one and as our brunch experience went on, they slowly filled the other seats, trying to space out each party as much as possible, which was nice. For Saturday and Sunday morning, they let us know to only order off the brunch menu. We got the wfflhaus potatoes to share, which came as roasted fingerling potatoes doused heavily in vegan gravy. The gravy was thick and chunky and tasted pretty similar to the real deal. For my entree I got the norm code, which had scrambled vegan eggs, vegan sausage patties, fingerling potatoes, and I chose rice porridge for my side instead of toast. It was my first time having vegan eggs and it definitely tasted just like tofu, the color was a curry bright yellow, so while the attempt was good, it certainly was very different from actual eggs. The "sausage" were pretty tasty as it had all the spices a breakfast sausage would have though I thought it was a bit chewier than meat sausage. It was a decent experience for me for vegan food and I would definitely recommend it as a place to take vegan and vegetarian friends.“

“out of the dozens and dozens of thai restaurants i’ve tried, no doubt that this one is the best ever…the interior is chic, and the service is welcoming and sweet. the food, tbh i was blown away with the first bite. every bite was bursting with flavor and spice. a refreshing side of sweet thai tea was just so amazing? i got drunken noodles, with spice level 6 (which is pretty hot). i cannot emphasize enough how much you shud give this place a try ‼️‼️‼️‼️“
“Note: This is a food stand that pops up at places, not sure if the physical address they list on their website actually serves food. Finally got to try this at the Vegan Oktoberfest at First Friday Night Market at Grossmont Center, my wife and I wanted to this it out when they had their weekly pop up at Sepentine Cider but that ended before we had a chance to get down there. Food was very tasty, they do a great job of creating a vegan alternative to Chinese food that looks legit and has the very similar flavors and textures, less the meat! We tried the Gua Bao Buns first, PERFECT! Not sure how they do it, but these look like almost like real pork belly, and flavors and textures were great! Definitely took the spotlight because this is a dish you wouldn't normally expect to look and taste this good. We also had the Sweet & Sour Pork, super tasty also, but it's a type of food that is more expected at a stand like this. So glad we finally got to try it, definitely worth it and will keep an eye out for their next pop up.“
“Cute place! I didn’t give it a five star because they didn’t have the edamame noodles ( I so wanted those so much) I shouldn’t have to not expect them not to have what was on the menu not be there. Any who, I had one of the bowls with fish and the avocado dressing was superb bomb!!! I also had the fruit smoothie with celery ( which I don’t really like) but it was really good!!! “We were visiting East County and I googled "Vegan Near Me," and El Veganito came up. Vegan Mexican Food! Amazing. It's just amazing food, in general. I got the California burrito, and it was delicious Mexican food and huge! One burrito was lunch and dinner. Just a note, the restaurant is in a food court and not visible from the road.
