“Found this place after searching for Gluten Free treats. Every flavor sounded amazing. Tried the cookies and cream and scotchmallow. Not even a huge fan of chocolate cake but I could eat 10 of these cupcakes no problem. Not too sugary or dense. Extremely moist and yummy. Best cupcakes I’ve ever had.“

“Great food! Had the Chicken Tostada Salad... super tasty and they even make the flour tostada fresh to order. Waffles are good too! Have been here a few times and everything I had was delicious and you get great portions! They do get very busy especially when the festivals are in town; open from 7am to 2pm daily ?“

“We really enjoyed our dinner here. Gina, our server, was the best we have had at any restaurant in a long time! It was later in the evening and she had lots of energy and made really good food and wine recommendations. The food was delicious - we had the Grilled Prime Bavette Steak Frites Au Poivre, the Slow Braised Prime Beef Short Rib Bourguignon and the Salmon dish. Gina had many wine suggestions in all different price categories. Their wine list was extensive. The bread was very good and warm. We sadly did not have room for dessert but will try next time we are in the desert. The only thing they could have improved on, is that they are not kidding when they said it was a "Baby Wedge" salad. The salad was small. I normally split a normal size wedge salad, but this one is not shareable. They could add a little more lettuce and make it bigger.“

“I reserve my five-star ratings for a literal PERFECT experience. My first visit to the Palms Cafe this morning was amazing. There was plenty of seating available even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and helpful, and got our entire order correct. The food arrived quickly (less than 5 minutes), and was cooked to perfection. The Belgian waffle was the best I have ever had, anywhere. It was crispy and fully cooked. The center was fluffy but not soggy. The has browns were also exactly what I expect when I order hash browns. Crispy, moist but not greasy, and served hot. In the past, most places I go to for breakfast serve hash browns that are dry, gooey, greasy, or in some cases - still frozen in places. The ambiance was nice with classic rock playing at a background volume, and everything was super clean. I will definitely return to The Palms Cafe very soon!“

“It's been my go to ice cream parlor for years in LaQuinta. Great ice cream. Price doesn't even matter. Until now. Favorite order has been their root beer float. 2 scoops vanilla and a can of root beer, A&W, I think. Last 3 times I've been there they have downsized to a tiny can of root beer. Same price. Not good. Worst part is if you're a float enthusiast, you blend the soda with the ice cream such that by the time you finish you have a brain freezing cold vanilla root beer shake! I've asked 3 staff to bring back the large can. So far nada. Is the owner listening? Please restore the large soda. Without it it's not really a float. Thanks for listening I hope to support your business in the future.“

“Best Food! My friend and I had breakfast here the second weekend working Coachella and made sure we came back the work weekend of Stagecoach! Fresh amazing food with the most exquisite flavors. The coffees/lattes are refreshing and delicious. The wait is nothing compared to the place around the corner. We went around 9:30/10 am and beat the rush that came in about 11ish, however with the indoor and outdoor seating , waiting time wasn't too bad. They have half order options on most items and I absolutely love it !“

“I have had Lavender Bistro on my list of restaurants to try since I moved to the valley in 2021. When asked where I'd like to go for my birthday, I immediately said LB. I was amazed when I walked out to the patio. Such a beautiful setting. The music was perfect, not overpowering like some. The service was exceptional and the food was remarkable. I commented that I would definitely be bringing guests when they visit.“

“No chair inside to sit but its just a grab and go type of spot. This is by far the freshest juice and acai spot in the inland empire and they close at 9:30 pm. Hallelujah. stumbled on the place randomly since i noticed on instagram they were giving out free vitamin C shots until the end of this month. Everything is made fresh to order. With only two folks working in store i was serviced in 6 minutes. Nice staff. Clean establishment. Ill definitely be a returning customer. Reasonable prices. John hooked me up.“

“I was in the area for our rental property and had to stop by The Home Depot. I randomly found this restaurant on yelp and gave it a shot. Service: 4.5/5 some staffs are friendly but some are just a-ok. All staffs are super focus on their job and super organized I think. They were people consistently coming inside the restaurant while tables were cleaned from the previous diners. We got seated right away along with most of the other diners. Food: 4/5 a lot of choices, many a little too many?! I see that their rolls are gigantic! Never seen rolls that big in my life. I think 1 roll is enough for maybe 2 people. Rice is a little too hard for my preference. Parking: 5/5 came on Saturday night and plenty of parking in the shopping plaza. Ambience: 4.5/5 Yelp says it's energetic space but it's very dim inside and very quiet inside despite them being busy. It's great for date night. Maybe during the day, it's more lively?! I might give another shot as it was a decent meal for this area....“

“Heard this spot was a must try from friends and they weren’t wrong! The ingredients were fresh and overall the ramen had a delicious flavor. Our waitress was really nice and offered great recommendations. I loved the side of roasted black garlic oil (one side was more than enough for two bowls of ramen) and soft boiled egg. We also enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer. If you’re a fan of ramen, Torakichi is well worth it! I’ll definitely be back.“

“Delicious food! We had vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone left happy. There is a reason the Grubhub reviews are 5/5. The food! The Orange tofu was the best we’ve ever had. Very crispy on the outside and soft inside.Vegans and Vegetarians will love this place. My husband got a garlic fish dish that he loved as well.We dined in, but noticed most people order it to go. It’s definitely an old school vibe. Not modern decor. Not really a first date place.Staff was super friendly.Cute mom and pop restaurant. Support small business while eating delicious Chinese food.“

“My daughter's first time having sushi and she loved it. She loved the Udon noddles as well. Every bite was delicious for her and mine as well. The waitress was a very gentle woman who helped me work around my allergies of shell fish. It wasn't as busy as I expected at 7pm on a Saturday, but the dining area was immaculate and the dishes were taken immediately after we finished our meals and side meals. The presentation of the meal was wonderful as well, for the people who find presentation part of their appetite.“

“Sat out on the patio. Although the evening weather was warm, the misters made it feel very comfortable. We had a couple of seafood pasta dishes that were delicious and we shared Caesar salads and BLT chopped salads which were very good. We brought our own bottle to wine. The corkage fee was $28, lower than some restaurants. Service was very attentive.“

“Overall the experience was very good. We ordered the asada tacos but the meat did not have any seasoning. We tried the pork tamale as an appetizer and it was delicious! The bread pudding was out of this world. I had a strawberry margarita with a salted rim and it was delicious! I could have done without the tacos and would have been satisfied! The service was great and everyone was friendly. Great ambiance!“

“Came by for some fried rice, and I was not disappointed. Spicy Fried Rice at level 4 was easy to handle*, very flavorful (I often eat spicy food). Friendly staff and prompt service. Apologizes for no photos. Overall, $70 for two plates, drinks, and an appetizer.“

“This is a step up from a fast food restaurant. We enjoyed surprisingly good food. The pizza, stromboli, wedge salad, brussel sprouts and meatballs were very good. They had a good selection of micro brews. We caught the last 30 min. of happy hour. Most apps were about $8 and they were full size apps. Drink prices were reduced. This is a very casual, locals spot. Service was a little understaffed but we did not suffer for it. Our server was pleasant and worked hard.“

“We came in for dinner and man this place was popular. The wait wasn't too bad, and accurately estimated. The table we sat at was right behind the hostess stand and a little awkward, but it worked. We ordered wings, salad, and a large pizza. All were good. Next time I would order the pizza with thin crust because the regular crust was too thick. But overall, it was very good. The service was great. Our server was very nice and checked in appropriately. Overall good experience.“

“This review is based on the Tuna Hana with rice at the Palm Desert location.Kinda underwhelming when you look at the size of the bowl, amount of product vs the price paid. I wish it would have been 1/3 larger. The bowl had about 10-12 quarter inch sized cubes of poke tuna fish, a healthy dollop of avocado and imitation crab with slices of cucumber and edamame beans. Taste was good, and service was fast.“
“Easy to find. Parking was close. Clean location. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Mikayla recommended brown sugar shaken espresso and we can't get enough. We also grabbed the recommended bear claw. Right in the heart of multiple shops and restaurants. Would come back again.“

“We went for brunch on Sunday of Coachella fest weekend, we didn’t think about how busy it would be. The restaurant was absolutely slammed, but we received nothing but fantastic service with excellent communication and hospitality from every staff member we encountered, from the gal out front who made us drinks while we waited for our table, to the host desk, our server and who I can only assume was the manager or owner. We had two small kids, and the staff was super accommodating and welcoming. Our food was delicious. We had Benedict’s, a kids burger and the ranchero bowl and everything was excellent. Thanks!“

“New to La Quinta so trying many restaurants. Went for dinner 3/9/2024. Don't let the outside "strip mall" Fool you. It is large and fabulous inside!!!!! Regardless of it being busy, the service was awesome! We tried the chicken lettuce wrap, cashew chicken, broccoli beef, and the pinapple chickes fried rice. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. The food in general was fresh, light, flavorful. Not full of oil or heavy starch sauce. Chinese food that feels like a bit of fresh Thai. This will be one of three top restaurants we have discovered in the area and we are picky!“

“After two false starts dining at fake Chinese food establishments, I desperately need something authentic. Further Google search lead me to The Palm Tree Palace. The name alone passed the Chinese test. From the menu items, I knew I hit gold. Finally, a place that has the right variety of Chinese dishes. The lady who answered the phone was a bit abrupt (in a very Chinese way, but in person, she was very friendly and glad to see us). We were treated with smiles from all the staff when we arrived. We were so 'starved' for real Chinese food at this point that I could have ordered half a dozen dishes, but since we didn't really want to take anything home, we decided on half a Peking Duck, Chicken and Vegetables in White Source, and Fish Congee. Ahhh, can you imagine congee on the menu. And of course, we asked for no MSG and no garlic, not a problem! The cuisine here is Northern Chinese, the Peking Duck came with steamed buns instead of the Canton Style duck with duck skin served with pancakes, and duck meat served as lettuce wraps. The duck skin was very crispy and delicious and the meat was tender. The duck must have been a giant duck because there were more meat piece than I expected. The congee, again was Northern Chinese, not smooth congee like the Cantonese kind. But still delicious, with tender fish and slivers of ginger. The chicken dish was well stir fried, and I didn't even mind the bean sprouts in the vegetable mix. To pass the test as a really great Chinese food restaurant though, it has to score high marks on originality for second and third time visits where you'd try out other dishes. When we came again, we ordered Braised Tofu with Vegetables, and pot stickers and to our disappointment, the vegetables were of the same variety as the chicken vegetables dish, and sauces were the same except more constarch this time, and we didn't enjoy the tiny pieces of square-cut tofu as they were not freshly fried – not crunchy outside and tender inside. That means, if we had ordered both the chicken and tofu dishes for the same meal, we would be lacking a good variety of vegetables. Incidentally, we tend to choose Chinese food when we need lots of cooked vegetables, so, I would think one of the key advantages that all Chinese restaurants should make use of is use as many varieties of fresh vegetables as possible. At home, the famous Chinese restaurants would not get away with this – they have to use different vegetables for different dishes or they would lose all their Chinese customers!“

“I was pleasantly surprised at my first Habit Burger visit. They really do serve on non-gmo bread, normally start havingan asthma attack at a burger place becauseof the bread if I don'ttake allergy meds first. Love the 50/50 fries and rings, now I don't have to choose and a coffee shake, you just replaced in n out as my favorite burger place. If you ha e GMO sensitivity and miss eating burger and fries, this is the place to go.Also great service, I left my purse and they immediately noticed it and caught me in the parking.Dietary restrictions: NON-GMO bread“

“Everyone received their food in a group of about 16, except for me, I ordered a salad, as everyone was eating but me, I felt left out. Finally asked a young man passing by if he could check in my salad, a few minutes later my salad arrived. The environment was phenomenal!!!!Our waitress was outstanding. If the salad can be delivered first, definitely a five star from me.“

“My family usually went here for their pho in the past, and I was craving pho recently. They've definitely improved over the years. I got the #11 with a fried tofu appetizer, and I loved the flavor of everything. The fried tofu came with a little sour dip. The pho was just right to where I was debating whether or not to add anything. It wasn't bland or too salty, but I decided to add bean sprouts, Sriracha, hoison, and lemon to balance all the meats. The staff was attentive and courteous despite a decent flow of people coming in for dinner. They do focus more on groups, but after a long day at work, I genuinely appreciated the staff letting me eat in peace until I was ready to pay.(Sorry for the bad photo. I was halfway through my meal before remembered to take any.)“

“Went with three adults and two small children...off peak hours, so as not to bother other patrons. Staff was super accommodating and the kids menu was great. Adults enjoyed all their food. Great location, good food and overall a great place for lunch in Old Town La Quinta. We ordered: Spinach & artichoke dip (great!), beet salad with steak, date salad + salmon (well cooked, a little under seasoned but table side RDRNNR seasoning made it delicious), BLT wrap, and house salad with chicken...all very tasty.“
