“Shake shack pretty much epitomizes what a beachside Socal-OC day should feel like. Beautiful, relaxing view of the Pacific paired with a classic shake or malt and diner type eats.Highly recommend parking towards the north end of Crystal Cove State Park and walking either the cliffside trail or beach and enjoy the sun as you walk down towards Shake Shack. And that you try to come when it’s not so busy. This way you don’t have to wait in a ridiculously long line on PCH for a lot that has a dozen parking spaces. The food is pretty standard and most people come for the great shakes. The Date shake seems to be really popular but I’ve yet to try it“

“I came at about 4pm on Thanksgiving Day to pick up 2 full turkey dinners from Denny's in Dana Point. I honestly wasn't expecting much because it's Dennys right? Given the choice, I think most of us would prefer a Thanksgiving feast prepared at home and with love over just about anywhere else. But that was not the case this year. No turkey in the oven roasting all day, filling our home and senses with savory thoughts of quenching our appetite with home-cooked turkey, mashed potatoes and everything else so wonderful that would be set out on our table.And pumpkin pie for later of course!So I entered the door to Dennys, handed my on-line printed confirmation page to Damon who turned out to be the restaurant manager. He was warm, cheerful,and welcoming. And I don't know about you but it seems to me that customer service isn't as much of a priority as it used to be in our country. Jose completed my transaction with the same genuine warmth I felt when I walked into thru the door. I waited all of about 3 minutes and went home to have dinner with my family. I'm not going to lie, this was not Mom or Grandmas special home cooking but it was pretty darn good. And the best part about it is I didn't have to go home and prepare all of the frozen food that came out of the bags nor I did I have to wait 3 or 4 hours for the food to thaw and then attempt to have the turkey and all the sides ready and hot at the same time. There was minimal reheating and more than enough food to go around, though I did order extra mashed potatoes just to make sure!I was more than pleasantly surprised and just the fact that I was treated with such kindness made everything taste even better. It was pouring rain all day and the staff at Denny's on Del Obispo in DP worked their tails off all day I'm sure. But at the end of the day they still found time to help make sure I had a very good dinner and an experience that will bring me back in the future.Thanks again Dennys!“

“We love Ruby's! Especially this super special original location. We try to come in multiple times whenever we are in the area for a week or a month's time. The employees are fantastic! They are warm and friendly (even in inclement weather). They are so sweet to our children. They absolutely remember them even though I would not say we are technically regulars since our primary residence is currently out of state. I have been so impressed each and every visit. They always go out of their ways to ensure the kids have a great and memorable experience! This time they even gave the kids mini Mustang cobras to build out of cardboard & stickers with which they could decorate them. Thanks Ruby's for the fun and the positive vibes/great memories in the making.
