“Surprising find for breakfast, especially quality of the food. We shared the baguette with butter and jam. Simple - butter was really good. Natural omelette - cheese and herbs, was served with lightly dressed greens. Quiche too. Simple and tasty. Generous portions. Cappuccino reminded me of Europe.“

“Breathtaking view through Laguna Beach Park onto the ocean. Overall experience was great. The service and the food were good except French toast we did not enjoy. The California omelet was really that’s tu as well as orange juice. Beautiful location, one of very few places that have patio overlooking the ocean and the beach.“

“There are only 14 tables, but the staff were wonderful. The prices demand it but you will get attentive service. And the ambience is spectacular. You get to sit by a dock with water right next to you. It is a very romantic place. They don’t have any loud music which is great. Their wine list is extensive. And with the corkage being $75 may as well try their wines. The cuisine is French, which I love. The scallops were perfect. I did not like the gravy as much as it tasted overly sweet. The pork loin was only OK because it could be more tender and it was a little dry. The brioche bread pudding is good though I make it better. I loved the mushroom soup.“

“Excellent service, atmosphere and perfect for date night. Excellent French cooking. Everything was delicious! While their tasting menu was absolutely stunning, ordering from the regular (and the special) menu would be more flexible. Portions were surprisingly generous.“

“What a great place ! Just push the door and you are in France. It starts with a little French Market where you can find all French specialty food that you really miss (when you've been away from home a long time) such as cookies like Pepito, barquettes, BN, Bonne-Maman jam, crème de marrons, drinks like Orangina and some really nice wines. But you will find also soaps, kitchen linen and other cute little accessories for your kitchen. I was impressed with the large selection of food they offer. Cakes, danishes, breads, everything made with authentic French recipes. It smells so good and looks so delicious that you want to eat a little bit of everything, very hard to make a decision. I opt for a flan, very simple cake that I didn't have for ages and I took a Brie Walnut sandwich to go for my lunch. The bread is so perfect soft and crunchy I could have eaten 2 more of those !!! They also have a large selection of salads, fresh fruits and few hot dishes too. You can eat inside or choose to seat outside where they have a huge patio with nice red umbrellas. I could spend a full day there by myself eating the best French food I had in LA area so far and look at the crowd walking around the display cases and wondering like me : "what am I going to eat today ?!?" The owner Laurent is very friendly and welcoming (so is the staff) and is really passionate. It was nice meeting and talking to him. Congratulations for this beautiful and yummy place ! I can't wait to be back“

“We got a great table next to the fountain at the terrace, we didn’t have a great expectations since we just picked the place for the setting but we were pleasantly surprised by some of the best informal French food we’ve had in the United States. The attention to detail in the ingredients used on their dishes is evident. The food seems to have been hand picked for ripeness and beauty. Everything was served to perfection. Attention to detail makes this one of the best restaurants we’ve been in a long, long time. It feels like having lunch in the Mediterranean.Service was great by the owner, we could have stayed there all afternoon enjoying the place. So far, the best reason to return to San Juan Capistrano.“

“We made reservations for Dublin4 and it seemed pretty wild so they walked next door and sat up at the high top at Wineworks. Such a better atmosphere. Both restaurants share the same kitchen and restrooms. And there’s a lot of similarities between the menus but this has the better options.I always complain that OC doesn’t have great food but this place knows the game. And the wine menu is excellent. I even had a Pinot Noir from Baden, Germany. All dishes were excellent and the service was even better. Only complaint is the parking is terrible so good luck, maybe the lot is bigger in the back.“

“Delice Breton is the gem I found a couple of years back. After trying pretty much every single croissant in OC I was extremely excited to finally have a croissant just like in France. Their food and pastries are high quality, food is so delicious. Don’t miss out and make sure to stop by this wonderful place.“

“Gorgeous cafe located on a beautifully renovated little corner of Dana Point. So many varieties of avocado toasts and mix of European and American style menu for all tastes. We had Avocado toast with arugula and Dutch Boy, they were both fabulous. All the staff that were serving us were super friendly and they looked genuinely happy to be there. One of my new favorite for weekend brunch.“

“Small coffee shop within high rise business building. Lots of sitting outside and parking is 2 hour complimentary with validation. Tried instant tiramisu and ice americano. Liked both and instant tiramisu is more lukewarm desert than coffee. Like this “

“I really love it here. Food is great, pastries are yummy and the staff does a heck of a job dealing with some of their, uh, tougher? Or uhhh, maybe high-maintenance is the better word? (Y’all know what I’m getting at ?) Corona Del Mar patrons. I come in to eat lunch often so see a lot of interactions and the staff is always kind, patient and respectful- even when (at times) it’s not reciprocated by their customers. They truly go above and beyond. Bravo!“

“This is a very special place. Open for dinner only Tuesday through Saturday reservations are a must. It only seats 8 or 10 parties so it is small and intimate. The food is exquisite. Courses are small but you will want to order a few. The prix fixe menu is a great way to go.“

“We had a dinner party for 12 to celebrate a birthday. Roux created a custom menu for us. They were ready when we arrived and the table was set beautifully. The wait-staff was courteous and prompt. The food was just amazing- from the appetizers to the entrees; everything was excellent. The cook even made a point of saying Hello. We will definitely be back!“
