The house is quirky, with funny weird decorations on the outside- nothing that you would imagine a bakery to be. And you don't go inside the house. Order a few days ahead and remind her on the day of because she gets booked with a lot of orders . Her son brings out your order. Her cherry pies are fresh out of the oven. A thin light crust with an incredibly tasty cherry filling.“
“As a caretaker, I must let it be known that Porto's has in place, an employee that lets you order when you enter the door. I came in with my mom and she was using her walker. The hostess let me know that I could bypass the extremely long lunch line and get assistance. A gentleman took our order and packaged our treats. I think there are only two handicap spots in front of the main entrance; I'll have to verify.“

I had a lot of requests and gave a few reference pictures and they freaking delivered. More specifically, BECKY DELIVERED. She hand piped the frosting to every single one to make it look more realistic. The visuals are obviously amazing but it was also delicious. My boyfriend has a huge sweet tooth and he couldn't stop eating it and we gave it to his friends to take home and they personally messaged me saying how good it was. “Menchies menchies menchies How do I love you. I been coming here for over 10+ years and everytime I come here I get excited to see the toppings and the different flavors. My go to are: Vanilla + chocolate + original tart W/ cherries W/ nuts, walnuts, almonds and chocolate chips I been taking my kids here forever and they would always write on the chalkboard. This visit was very special to me, because my daughter treated me for dessert. I have passed along the Menchies tradition And who can't say no to Froyo! Menchies we love you!“
“Went to Tarzana Cafe Bakery for the first time last week after eating at Label's Deli next door. Two things need to be addressed here. First is that the Deli next door is actually called Famous Label's Deli which is beyond ridiculous. It is not Famous. It is sub-standard, plain, and nothing special believe me. Secondly, the name of Tarzana Cafe Bakery is being confused with Tarzana Bakery. They are one and the same and confusing to people using this app. I tried to correct this using edit but it doesn't understand probably because there are several businesses in this strip mall, all with the same address of 19003 Ventura Boulevard. Anyway this Bakery seems good. We tried 2 items and they were good. The man at the front said it was Armenian but previous reviews state that it's a Persian Bakery. So who knows? I'd recommend not buying the full size Cakes, they look old and dry.“

“Really kind and friendly staff which I appreciate. They let you sample some flavors since their ice cream menu is constantly changing. I appreciate that they let you sample the flavors since I can be choosy with what ice cream flavor I want. During the last visit, there was an issue with the gift card we had and the staff member was kind enough to see what the issue was and called (over the phone) the manager/owner in order to fix the issue. The store is small inside but there is plenty of seating outside. Also plenty of parking as it is located in the central part of the shopping center. Definitely recommend if you are looking for ice cream around the West Hills area.“

“We received a cake for my son’s 17th birthday and it was amazing! They included many special touches to personalize the cake while still maintaining a pleasing aesthetic. Not only was the cake amazing but we also had a mishap with our dog bumping the cake while it was in its packaging which damaged the corner. Although it was completely our fault, Crumbles jumped in and quickly repaired the cake for us and saved the day after much stress and anxiety about the mishap!
