“This is a solid Vietnamese restaurant in South OC. Everything about it is very traditional, the menu and food would be just the same in Vietnam. Got the Pho Tai and Oxtail Pho. Oxtail was nicely braised, the Pho Tai beef a bit overdone. Broth was good. Get the large for $1 more, the portions are huge.

To some previous posters that reflected on the higher prices, or humble furniture, welcome to South OC, the rent is too damn high.“

“Simply Pho is very good! Their Pho broth was flavorful, . We had both the beef broth and the chicken broths. The Vietnamese spring rolls have vermicelli and lettuce wrapped in rice paper, served with homemade sauce—so fresh and addictive. We had the chicken wraps. They also served us a free desert which was like a tapioca style pudding but really sweet!“

“honestly its one of the best spots in town and i keep coming back like alot, service is quick even when its packed which is every time im here. the broth has that deep richness you cant find everywhere, definately tastes like they put in the work not just tossing a bouillon cube in water. i've probably been like 20 times easily and I still order the same thing because why fix what isnt broken. only thing that bugs me is the parking situation, tommorrow when you come be prepared to hunt for a spot or park way out.

but the noodles and the meat portions are always on point so thats what matters in the end. like I said four stars because I love it but that parking lot stress keeps it from being perfect for me“

“A fantastic first children's cooking session for the holidays Everything was very thought out, plenty of ingredients and delicious results! The chef was friendly and gave clear instructions and encouragement to the children. The children had the chance to learn the process and also be exposed to different ingredients. Bring on adult sessions too I say! It worked really well at 3pm, clearly a lull in diners so it was really quiet and I think the customers in actually enjoyed listening and watching- it didn't seem to disturb them. To help only feed back I would give is a need for some napkins on the table and to encourage participants to wash their hands before as I didn't feel we had time to go and do that before instructions began. Host was really friendly and welcoming.“

“Good pho to get especially so close to my house. I like the service as well I'm not sure what his name is but he's so kind to me and my family every time we come in. The pho is good and I also get their pork chop.
