People everywhere are talking and enjoying themselves- Family owned! Sweet Ethiopian family (who are own horses so they are horse people)- Plenty of parking in front- Good burgers- Good club sandwich- Crispy fries- Not only American food, but also Ethiopian! I haven't tried it yet but looking forward to trying it!CON:- Some of the food came out without temperature. A little odd as they are very careful to cook fresh- Can get busy on the weekendsSUMMARY:A great local hangout with good food and a good family who runs this with love.”

“Nothing better than supporting a neighborhood business. Believe the hype, Tacos El Don is delish. A once in a while treat has become a one time a week meal. The portions are large enough that you'll have leftovers for 2nd meal.”

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!”

“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. “I ventured with my wife for a very early Valentine's dinner recently. This sushi speak easy has been on my to do list for a long time and I'm pleased we were able to visit this location. The entire staff was amazing, you're definitely here to drop some bills but have a great time. You immediately feel welcomed in this cozy setting , there were only 6 of us for our seating and the staff knew all our names and the reason why we decided to spend the night for dinner to treat ourselves for omakase. We were invited to partake in some pre-dinner cocktails and canapes. The reservations will note this is optional. I strongly suggest attending this and mingling with the staff and your guests because you're going to spend probably at least 2 hours with these folks experiencing top quality sushi. I really enjoyed their spin on omakase and sushi. Of course you're getting really high quality ingredients here but the intentionality in every bite, the pacing of the night, and at least during our visit the banter between everyone made this experience extremely memorable. The flow of food is so well thought out and the chefs work as a team to tee up each bite. You can see them set up nigiri, 2-3 rounds ahead, and watching the process is absolutely mesmerizing. Each bite is well explained along with the ingredients, origin and processes of how each nigiri is built. The drinks options are also very appetizing they have options for whiskey flights, sake flights and can craft up some delicious cocktails and non alcoholic options. They also are very considerate of any dietary constraints. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and would come back for a future special occasion.”

“I've been to many sushi restaurants/bars in the valley. Asanebo from my experience is hands down the best sushi you can get. The service is immaculate, the best I've ever had at a sushi spot. I wouldn't be able to tell you something bad I've had there. Been going for a while now and everything is great.”

We wish the sets could've been a little longer but I'm sure there's a reason they weren't. Because it feels there is a reason for EVERYTHING here. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly balanced (Mezcal Negroni and Toluca Sunrise). And the food! Milk buns are a must. I could've made a meal of the roasted corn - creamy, flavorful deliciousness. Lamb pasta, crushed potato and the New York were perfect. A second bread option would be nice to eat with the mains. Wish we'd saved room for dessert! Next time. Because there will DEFINITELY be a next time.”

We opted to chill in the game room and enjoy some college basketball and a couple rounds of exploding kittens.The noho boho and Michelada were solid choices. The Pilsner taste met my fiancée's expectations. We each got the shamrock shimmer (green glitter added to drinks in honor of St. Patty's Day), so that was fun.The staff were upbeat and happy to be there which always adds a pleasantness to the experience. “Nice food. Friendly staff. I am a repeat La Mirch Studio City customer. I asked for Chicken Tikka Masala with sauce on the side. I was charged $16 for the chicken tikka and $9 for sauce. I was not so happy about that. If you make chicken tikka masala, don't you make it fresh then add sauce? Why then is a $17 entree becoming a $25 entree? It does not seem good to me. I enjoy the food but this was not a happy experience to pay $9 to simply ask for sauce on the side. Please explain. Thank you!”

“The fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. The mild chicken is really spicy but just the right amount for me, not overly intense. It’s nice and crunchy. It’s even great cold. The fries are bomb too.What I also like is that it’s exactly the same quality every time, there is no variance. Wish I had found this place years ago.”
