“Nothing better than supporting a neighborhood business. Believe the hype, Tacos El Don is delish. A once in a while treat has become a one time a week meal. The portions are large enough that you'll have leftovers for 2nd meal.”
“Clean restaurant and friendly customer service. Food was made to order and was delicious. Authentic Mexican food. We had posole with homemade tortillas, torta de carne asada, enchiladas verdes and burrito de carne asada. Everything tasted delicious and recommend it.”
“I love this store, friendly servers, good prices, variety of different kinds of ice creams with milk or with water. The parking lot is a little tricky, but there is more parking on the streets.”
“All I can say is this location has improved its taste of the food and freshness is wonderful. The eggrolls taste magnificent. In my opinion the add on to the fountain drinks was a great ideaI would recommend this location to everyone”
“One popular spot known for its delicious borekas in Los Angeles is "Borekas Sephardic Pastries" in Sherman Oaks. They offer a variety of flavors and are well-regarded by locals and visitors alike. It's worth giving them a try if you're in the area!”
“Malama Pono has been my favourite restaurant in the neighborhood since 2021. I have always enjoyed my time here. Wonderful food and staff! BEST crispy rice in town!! Come here and you will not be disappointed. I’ve brought different people here and they all loved it. Everything on the menu is delicious.”
“Amazing sushi in bright, homey environment- loved the rock shrimp, citrus roll, and truffle salmon! Miso eggplant was a good and unique choice. Would highly recommend!”
“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!”
“Just wonderful, the food is amazing and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They even helped me retrieving my receipts for my bill so that I can expense it. Thank you so much for your help. I will be back for sure!”
“Fantastic! Excellent quality and really flavoursome. The menu is smallish which I love, focus on a few quality dishes done particularly well. Service was also attentive and professional. Small cozy restaurant. Highly recommend.”
“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. All in all a great experience.”
“We’ve come here multiple times for dinner and for brunch. The food is awesome, super fresh and really flavorful and good. Their mushrooms are to die for, but you can’t go wrong with anything at Donna Jean.”
“I ventured with my wife for a very early Valentine's dinner recently. This sushi speak easy has been on my to do list for a long time and I'm pleased we were able to visit this location. The entire staff was amazing, you're definitely here to drop some bills but have a great time. You immediately feel welcomed in this cozy setting , there were only 6 of us for our seating and the staff knew all our names and the reason why we decided to spend the night for dinner to treat ourselves for omakase. We were invited to partake in some pre-dinner cocktails and canapes. The reservations will note this is optional. I strongly suggest attending this and mingling with the staff and your guests because you're going to spend probably at least 2 hours with these folks experiencing top quality sushi. I really enjoyed their spin on omakase and sushi. Of course you're getting really high quality ingredients here but the intentionality in every bite, the pacing of the night, and at least during our visit the banter between everyone made this experience extremely memorable. The flow of food is so well thought out and the chefs work as a team to tee up each bite. You can see them set up nigiri, 2-3 rounds ahead, and watching the process is absolutely mesmerizing. Each bite is well explained along with the ingredients, origin and processes of how each nigiri is built. The drinks options are also very appetizing they have options for whiskey flights, sake flights and can craft up some delicious cocktails and non alcoholic options. They also are very considerate of any dietary constraints. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and would come back for a future special occasion.”
“Good priced for the omakase and good quality! We got the $80 omakase and a delux Chirashi bowl. The fish was fresh and tasty, also great presentation. Service was good and fast. Will def be back again!”
“Top of the line product, Top of the line service. You can definitely taste the quality wagyou meet. this is all different experience compared to your regular Shawarma stand. Yes it's pricey but it because of the quality. Absolutely worth a chance. Don't forget the free coffee in the end.”
“I've been to many sushi restaurants/bars in the valley. Asanebo from my experience is hands down the best sushi you can get. The service is immaculate, the best I've ever had at a sushi spot. I wouldn't be able to tell you something bad I've had there. Been going for a while now and everything is great.”
“Wow, wow, wow! From the minute we were greeted by the doorman and we entered the beautiful space, we knew we were in for a treat. And in the VALLEY, no less! What a gem. The nightclub vibe and attention to detail were what we noticed first. We really appreciated the seamless, knowledgable, and friendly attentiveness of the waitstaff. The music was spot-on. We wish the sets could've been a little longer but I'm sure there's a reason they weren't. Because it feels there is a reason for EVERYTHING here. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly balanced (Mezcal Negroni and Toluca Sunrise). And the food! Milk buns are a must. I could've made a meal of the roasted corn - creamy, flavorful deliciousness. Lamb pasta, crushed potato and the New York were perfect. A second bread option would be nice to eat with the mains. Wish we'd saved room for dessert! Next time. Because there will DEFINITELY be a next time.”
“Easy to miss, though from the reviews, it seems like few actually pass it by.On lunch break from rehearsal nearby, I had the feta, tomato, and basil toasted sandwich, which was perfect. Outdoor seating was quite welcome, as it's kinda warm and stuffy inside the store.”
“Casual but nice. Service and staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Recommended wine based on my preferences.Food was very good but I think they put cream in the carbonara… and a poached egg on top. I’ve seen this at other LA restaurants- not sure why it’s a thing.Good portion sizes.”
“What a lovely meal. Our server, Alan, is the greatest. Friendly, charming, w/ great advice for our meal. Food was delicious and the pacing made nothing languished at our table. The music is the exact right volume to make sure your conversation stays yours while the surrounding voices create an exciting din. Will be back, 100% Thank you!!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are wide enough for a manual chair, staff is delightful & accommodating. For a small, older restaurant it's remarkably accessible.”
“My favorite place in Burbank. I’ve been coming here for over a year and the owner is absolutely incredible. Everyone who works here is amazing, Becky and Zach always make me laugh and brighten my day. The food + drinks are delicious. 10/10”
“I got the Garcia's chilaquiles and they were sooo good and crunchy just how I like them, full of flavor. The iced chai tea latte with as super rich and delicious. My husband ordered a burger and fries, he definitely enjoyed it too.”
“A hidden gem! We stopped by here after a game of tennis and it was the exact vibe we wanted. They have live music, food trucks, vendors, and a game room. We opted to chill in the game room and enjoy some college basketball and a couple rounds of exploding kittens. The noho boho and Michelada were solid choices. The Pilsner taste met my fiancée's expectations. We each got the shamrock shimmer (green glitter added to drinks in honor of St. Patty's Day), so that was fun.The staff were upbeat and happy to be there which always adds a pleasantness to the experience. Even though the place was packed, our beers came out pretty quickly.I thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely be back!”
“Found Leona's on OpenTable with great reviews. All true! Everything we ate was fabulous. Service was charming and attentive. We plan to make this a regular in our restaurant rotation and can't wait to bring friends”
“Nice food. Friendly staff. I am a repeat La Mirch Studio City customer. I asked for Chicken Tikka Masala with sauce on the side. I was charged $16 for the chicken tikka and $9 for sauce. I was not so happy about that. If you make chicken tikka masala, don't you make it fresh then add sauce? Why then is a $17 entree becoming a $25 entree? It does not seem good to me. I enjoy the food but this was not a happy experience to pay $9 to simply ask for sauce on the side. Please explain. Thank you!”
“The fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not even close. The mild chicken is really spicy but just the right amount for me, not overly intense. It’s nice and crunchy. It’s even great cold. The fries are bomb too. What I also like is that it’s exactly the same quality every time, there is no variance. Wish I had found this place years ago.”
“Nice local spot, quiet in early evening, limited menu but food is predictable and drinks are as expected. Parking during the afternoon sucks, okay after local commercial businesses close.”
“This is a cute ramen spot that I come to often. I would say I have had better ramen at other places but the ambience and service is great. I like the crispy tuner appetizer that they have.”
“Amazing food! Loved the Coconut Shrimp!!! My family little girls loved their Steak Taco, and Chicken Tacos. We will be back next time we are in town. *recommend parking across the street for free parking.”
“I love that this is a local place. All the horse people come here so it's definitely a local hangoutPRO:- Great vibe! You can tell this is a local haunt. People everywhere are talking and enjoying themselves- Family owned! Sweet Ethiopian family (who are own horses so they are horse people)- Plenty of parking in front- Good burgers- Good club sandwich- Crispy fries- Not only American food, but also Ethiopian! I haven't tried it yet but looking forward to trying it!CON:- Some of the food came out without temperature. A little odd as they are very careful to cook fresh- Can get busy on the weekendsSUMMARY:A great local hangout with good food and a good family who runs this with love.”
