“I dined two times in two days . Use to dine her years ago and just started dining elsewhere. This is a chain but not sure how many restaurants there are . I don't dine at chains meaning 10 or less . Food is excellent. First visit the food came to me cold . Took it home and reheated . 2nd visit right on . Price is great . Complementary bread excellent . Coors light 4 bucks . Fillet mignon cooked medium rare both times cooked to perfection. Good job cooks . Restaurant has been around for a long time . That's a plus point . Would definitely recommend .“

“This was a most delightful late lunch here today in great part due to the exceptionally hospitable and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant's interior is traditionally regal and cozy however we opted to eat in their spacious outside eating area on this beautiful afternoon. No regality was lost by being outside for we were in the care of Gilberto, our wonderful principle waiter. He understood our every need and pampered us like one seldom encounters in Long Beach. We began with an Old Sicilian cocktail. It's probably fortunate the photo didn't come out else I'd be shamelessly punning the caption, but most importantly it was delicious with quite a punch. The crab cake appetizer, also delicious, was followed by the best hamburger that I've ever had and that includes any produced from my kitchen (I consider that to be the highest praise). Bf gave me a taste and there is no question that I will be ordering this next time. For a special treat, Gilberto presented us with a beautiful crème brûlée. When requiring a flawless dining experience, this is perfection, They are Masters of their craft.“
“Came here with a party of 8. I didn’t make the reservations but apparently they’re pretty particular about the party size. I would have wandered around and missed the place. It’s inside another restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating with spectacular views. We ordered the seafood tower to share. Tomatoes with mozzarella as another starter. The main course doesn’t come with sides so we ordered 6 different sides. Dessert was amazing. We were so full that we couldn’t finish all of our sides.“

“I've been to a lot of fancy steakhouses, and I can tell the difference between good quality meat, good flavoring, and good execution! Madera's rib eye prime steak was just that. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly! One of the best steaks I have ever had! Also tried their sausage with hatched chilies and it was just wonderful. We literally licked the plate clean! Yesterday, I got a carne asada wet burrito for lunch. OMG!!! Literally the BEST wet burrito I have ever had, EVER!!! The meat was so thick and tender and they do not skimp out on the meat. It's loaded with meat and a pretty big portion as well. I highly recommend any one who wants delicious food and a great environment for live music, to come to Maderas steakhouse! You won't be disappointed!“

While it can get a bit loud due to the lively atmosphere, it only adds to the experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness of the place didn't go unnoticed. “We decided to come here for Sunday dinner and were greeted by a warm and welcoming hostess that informed us we'd have a short wait. When our table was ready we were escorted to our seats where our waiter took our drink order. After looking over the menu we placed our food order, I had the Grilled Salmon with a Caesar Salad and Grilled Asparagus. The Salmon was grilled to perfection and bursting with flavors, very good. The salad was delicious and fresh and so was the Asparagus! The restaurant was bustling, lively, and well maintained. Our server was attentive and took 1/2 off one of the meals with the BOGO deal. I really enjoyed our dinning experience and will definitely be back!“
“Just stopped in for phoned-in takeout and decided to wait at the bar. Dennise was awesome with a great greeting, excellent service and knew when to check on us and when to leave us be. The atmosphere was great and we ended up staying much longer than scheduled??The takeout order was accurate and exactly as anticipated. “Ate here for a nice and pretty heavy lunch. The meal portions are big enough to be split between two people so you can enjoy other park foods (recommend). The wait time during peak lunch hour was maybe 10-15 minutes. It might have felt longer than it really was just because we were hungry. From the moment we order until we got our food was actually fast (approximately a 10 min wait). The food was excellent and did not feel like that cafeteria style food that is served at the rat park. It felt like a true sit down restaurant.“
“I have been going here for years now to celebrate with family birthdays and celebrate on special occasions. This place is amazing, yes the price is up there but with that you get a good quantity of food, great service and also it's a STEAK HOUSE. I will mention one con I've noticed, this is for almost every year that we come I usually get a steak and scallops. Now the scallops are amazing and I recommend and last this year in February I got a new York step style steak and I have to be honest I always get medium rare so it doesn't not lose flavor of course, but it was a bit different maybe needed to be cooked better or better seasonings if you will, I do no know but not the same as I remember, this would be my only con other than this, I'm always willing to recommend to go try and be amazed !Parking: An open lot and it's always enough for a large group.Wheelchair accessibility: On flat ground no stars and doors are wide and big.“

“When you purposely don’t eat out much , you notice good food. Fine service.I had the salmon and baked sweet potato and broccoli with coffee. Heavenly and with no instructions from me: cooked delightfully perfect. Flaky seasoned salmon. Baked potatoe with butter sweet sauce was airy and filling. We had excellent service and felt special all the way. This place remains a gem.“
