I walk in and I was greeted but he went from cleaning to putting on gloves not washing his hands cross contamination maybe one day I will try this place again you have really watch these people when handling your

A restaurant with excellent service, and right off I-5. When I walked in, I was greeted by two gentlemen (Daniel and Oscar). Right away, they took my order and lunch wad served. I like my BBQ really hot, so I do wish I had asked for it to be hotter (personal preference). The condiment bar has tasty sauces ranging from basic to spicy (I loved the spicy one). Meat should be central to a barbecue place and the pulled pork and brisket on my two-meat platter was pretty good. It was good enough that I was not inclined to add too much of the barbecue sauce that was very meh. The side of barbecue beans was also meh. My other side, fried okra, would have been great with 10 percent of the salt. With the salt it had, it was hard to eat. The most remarkable part of the meal was the "Texas toast."
