“A restaurant with excellent service, and right off I-5. When I walked in, I was greeted by two gentlemen (Daniel and Oscar). Right away, they took my order and lunch wad served. I like my BBQ really hot, so I do wish I had asked for it to be hotter (personal preference). The condiment bar has tasty sauces ranging from basic to spicy (I loved the spicy one). There is free ice cream (when you dine in)! Root beer float time! ? Clean restaurant, safe neighborhood, and delicious BBQ. Ya, really can't go wrong with this food pick.Parking: Location with other vendors, plenty of parking, but of course, be mindful of peak hours.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free on Sundays.“
“My Family and I are from San Jose and were visiting my Aunt and wanted some BBQ so we found this place. Walked up to this place and was greeted by the owner like we were Family. We ordered some chicken and tri-tip sandwich and it was off the hook!!! They have these big bbq's outside that they were cooking on so you know it's real bbq and not cooked in a oven!! We didn't wait long for the food and the owner even asked us if we wanted a beer, we passed but he offered a shot of whiskey so my Sister bad ass as she is took him up on his offer!!! She said it was some smooth whiskey...lol...They were playing some old School oldies and music which made us feel like we were at a Family bbq....We left satisfied and thanked the owner for his hospitality. If for some reason the owner reads this, we were the ladies from East Side San Jose that stopped by!!!! We will definitely come through next time we are in town!!!“
“Amazing tri tip sandwich, was visiting my dad at the hospital nearby and needed something quick that was delicious to share! My dad is a huge bbq fan so he was completely surprised and grateful for this amazing sandwich, their house made bbq sauce is similar to the addicting Carl's Jr. Western bbq sauce so get extra if you love it saucy!!“
“I am rooting for this local business as they deserve all the support they can get. I ordered two items off their limited menu: fried chicken sandwich and fried chicken loaded fries. I thought the crispiness of the chicken was absolutely perfect; however, I did think the chicken meat itself lacked a lot of flavor. I thought the fries were cooked to perfection and tasted great with the spice blend that I believe the owner created himself. Some things that would have made it a lot of better was if they had added some lettuce or onions to the burger as it was literally just a piece of fried chicken sandwiched in between 2 buns for $12. The loaded fries could have used some more toppings like onions, some bacon bits, jalapenos, cilantro, and maybe drizzled with a homemade creamy or spicy sauce. These additions would not only take their food to the next level but just give the food that extra pop of color to make it more appealing! The store was hard to find and was located on a one way street in downtown Stockton. There is not a clear sign outside on the building besides a stand up sign outside. From the outside, it may look closed. Tip: I parked about a block away and decided to walk. They are at the end of a chain of stores located right next to a parking lot! It was also empty when I visited and there was a lot of seating. The service was great as they took my order and had my food ready within 10 minutes. Although I understand it is located in downtown which can get more dangerous at nighttime, I wish they had the option to do delivery or be open later as this would made a perfect a quick dinner or a late night snack delivery. I hope to be back to try some of their desserts.“
“We eat here often. Food is always amazing from the burritos, tacos, salads, sandwiches, rice. His michedlada mix is amazing. If you have not tried this place you are missing out. He also has raw meats and supplies for cooking meals at home. ?“

“Stopped here passing through Lathrop. Got a bunch of goodies.... forgot to take some photos, but got cajun flavored corn nuts, kettle flavored corn nuts, dried garlic, root beer flavored milk, strawberries, Japanese crackers, and Japanese peanuts, as well as some fall decor. Apparently the glass bottled milk has flavors of the month. The root beer milk was very tasty, like root beer float shake. Cute Lil market.“
